Ya it's true tat cvs have messed up but at one point they r true. This show's main focus was on dosti than on radhikas dreams.Ya radhika had aspiration to become someone before getting married but not at the cost of her friends life.So in a way cvs r right.I think cvs might have thought tat once shaadi happens btw ardhika Atleast there won't be any doubts abt the pairing .I think first they wanted to clear the doubts and then proceed .Alll will be good if the result also will be the same that they have thought of.Hope for the best

The first stupid move was to show the diary to Arjun, she should have kept it with her and showed it to Sam directly. CVs heave screwed up at many places. Firstly in the promos they showed the show was refresing and not somewhat the typical indian drama soap. However they changed their plot and along the way they ruined the characters for forgot about their dreams. As far as I remember when Nandini was shown first, she had little humanity in her but now she's gone pure evil LOL.

Straight back at ya sugar 😉... Lemme rephrase.. you DON'T want Radhika to HELP her bestie BY MARRYING Arjun and you also want Sam to live? I am sorry but what else would you like? For Nandu to plan an early retirement & go live in the Himalayas?

Family's respect & reputation.. Hmm.. Ok.. As far as I remember, Arjun and Radhika are adults (I thinkkk). Do they consent to this wedding? Yes. Then End of story.
Izzat, reputation, respect, dignity- whatever you may wanna call it is a very subjective topic. When I say Radhika standing before Arjun without a pallu on her shoulder is NO big deal, there are 10 people who would note that as being close to "losing one's izzat/ reputation". I don't think that izzat or reputation is such a frivolous thing that you can LOSE it if you aren't dressed formally (Neither can it be gained if you are dressed formally btw). It goes MUCH further than all these superficial stuff. That was JUST an example.
OK.. Redirecting and Sticking to the topic of discussion, FYI Radhika's dignity means as much to her now as it mattered to her previously. Would she allow Arjun to touch her after marriage- JUST coz they are married?? Would she be as "easy" as some members think her to be?? Nope. That's protecting your dignity. Would she allow anyone (like Nandini) to slander her parents' reputation? Nope.

What Dilip and Mala experienced that day at the mandap can be termed as "being insulted through taunts & wrongful allegations". NOT losing their dignity for real- are they?? Radhika knows it too well! We, as audience SHOULD be aware of this- that is, if we are watching the show closely. Doesn't Radhika deserve SOME respect for TRYING to protect Sam's life? Yes or no?? Instead of WHY did she not do this or that instead- WHY are we trying to become the CVs & presenting ideas and endless explanations to how she should JUST stick to being a wallflower in the background like the rest of them??
I just don't get the confusion. I mean, Dilip and Mala were feeling INSULTED coz they don't know Radhika's real reason to marry Arjun BUT what is your excuse as a viewer for accusing her?? All of them have been kept in the dark BUT you guys (as the audience) should KNOW it all- and STILL you pretend not to know. Why?

Ok.. Next.. Yes I agree Radhika was really stupid to show him that diary. Point noted. Point regretted & guess what- she's paying a HUGE price for this mistake by now marrying a guy she barely knows & sitting quietly while her parents are being insulted. She screwed up! The end.

What I do not agree though is showing the diary to Sam. Sorry but Sam is blind. She's so blind that even after Radhika 'claimed' Arjun is not in love with her, Sam was willing to marry him. Really now? If a random girl accuses my future dulha, I would put the wedding on hold, and NOT act as a desperate bride coz hey, marriage is kinda permanent u know. 😆

Ok. Initial Promos: How many fictional shows on the Indian television stick to the ORIGINAL concepts & what was shown on the VERY FIRST promo?? I don't have any numbers but let's take some examples from Star Plus's popular shows.
Yeh hai mohabbatein: Ishita and Raman fight & they are single. Current track: they are happily married.
Nisha aur uske cousins: cousins playing carrom & it focuses on their bonding. Last time I saw it, Nisha was being pursued by 2 guys & there was no sign of the cousins.
Pratigya: Guy teases a girl while she goes to college. Girl vowes to fight them. How it ended: she married one of the eve teasers and lived happily ever after.
I can go on and on all night long. Stories EVOLVE. Characters are ADDED. New relationships are formed & that's how stories are taken further.
We all saw how well they handled the plot revolving Maybelline NY presentation. Are u kidding me? Office politics? You wanna see more of that? I would rather see wet paint dry. totally my opinion though.

Moving on.. You mentioned "changing the plot"? Please elaborate. Coz I have the actors (Aham and Monica) on record where they told the media that it was clearly stated & explained to them that it would be ArDhika and NeSam from the very beginning.

Ruining characters? Again I disagree. They all are sticking to their character sketch and none of them have been "butchered" IMHO.

Forgot their dreams?? So getting married to Arjun would somehow lead to Radhika FORGETTING her dreams & aspirations? How? Would she NOT work? Wives DO work in India right? (I'm from California so I wouldn't know). Or is this being assumed?? Or you somehow got hold of the future script?? Marriage doesn't end dreams (that's what I have been told by a very dear, married friend from this forum- I can pull up the quote if you like).

Nandini- she's been consistent throughout. She's plain evil since day 1. When she showed up at the hospital, she wanted Arjun to LEAVE a dying girl at the hospital and FOCUS on their plan. That qualifies as EVIL, I think.

As I mentioned before I didn't say that Radhika shouldn't help sam and I am saying it again that I have no issues Radhika helping her, but there could have been other alternative ways to do so. Perhaps Radhika and Sam should just go far away problem will be solved.

But for Dilip and Mala it wasnt an insult it was more than that. Seeing Radhika pull of such stunt got them very shocked. They couldn't bear the pain their daughter humiliating herself infront of people. You may refer this an insult but for some parents their child/children are the respect and dignity for them. FYI I am not dis-respecting radhika, I am just questioning her motive.

Then Radhika should have very well about this plan of hers because as you said marriage is permanent lol.

Yeh hai mohabbatein: Ishita and Raman fight & they are single. Current track: they are happily married.
Service Walli Bahu sticked to their plot they didn't go overboard, shararat sticked to their storyline, son pari, shakalaka boom boom and so on.

The story was about radhika and sam achieving their dreams, it wasn't about radhika getting married, sam being dumb and blindly in love.

Forgot their dreams?? So getting married to Arjun would somehow lead to Radhika FORGETTING her dreams & aspirations? How? Would she NOT work? Wives DO work in India right? I dont want to comment anything about wives in India as I am from Australia. But some marriage do end your dreams. Marrying a guy and you go into a extended family, you have to clean their shits and help around. Which means you dont get time to study or you get demotivated because you're just busy with your marriage life. With radhika it's going to be hard for her to achieve dreams because Nandini and Arjun will make her life living hell DUH!!!!

Nandini- she's been consistent throughout. She's plain evil since day 1. When she showed up at the hospital, she wanted Arjun to LEAVE a dying girl at the hospital and FOCUS on their plan. That qualifies as EVIL, I think.

Just wanted to say thanks for the long post but there was no need to be so hypo about it.
