My 2 cents & more

I am going to do a combined review of yesterday & today's episode in this thread. Life has been so busy with work, family, and upcoming friend's wedding (also in 10 days, lol), I am hardly getting time for myself - anyway, I may not be able to articulate my thoughts well considering the time crunch.

First, who gets married 10 days after engagement?! Is this common practice? 😕 My husband and I tied the knot 7 months after the engagement and that too was in a rush because of certain issues. Maybe I am missing something ... no matter how much love I would be in, heck I would want my wedding to be much later in time so I can plan it out! Oh well...

Ok so yesterday's first scene had me melting like the molten lava! ☺️ These two are the best couple in my drama viewing history since a long time: of course I mean Arjun & Radhika. There was an awkwardness mixed with comfort and genuine care / concern for each other. That entire scene was perfect: from entering into the same room space at same time, to mending of bandage, to rapid-fire round by Arjun! I said awkwardness because they thought the other wouldn't be comfortable but then they realized they are way past that - thanks to the dori incident! May I say that Arjun and Radhika understand each other much better than they understand themselves! 😳

So the evil witch was sweet talking evil with Saral, and the latter being the doofus that he is fed right into her manipulative talk! Mala - I have no words for this mom 🤢. Actually I was thinking another reason why Arjun & Radhika deserve each other: they have the worst parents/guardian figure in their life. Just selfish people who do emotional blackmail when it suits them - never putting the kids need before theirs! Look at Radhika's parents and Nandini, though they both are different people (good and evil), they put their selfish requirements above Radhika & Arjun's needs! Worst parents / guardians ever! They could learn from Neil & Sam's parents!

Btw, guys I am loving all the intense looks Arjun keeps giving Radhika, and also Radhika seems to be reciprocating the eye locks - she has started to feel for Arjun too, but just too naive to actually realize it. In the scene, when Saral orders Radhika to stay back and not go to work with Arjun-Sam-Witch, as he has to talk some stuff out... did you all see Arjun's glare?: anger mixed with frustration. I don't think he understands why Radhika tolerates such a low life like Saral and moreover is writing herself to a life of doom by agreeing to marry the doofus. Don't worry Arjun, we don't get it either! 🤔

Finally we saw the Bird-Song office! Does this place have a dress code? Meeting with clients in jeans and T-shirts (a batman shirt, really!!), lol - that wouldn't fly at all in real life IMO. And what kind of an office has a common washroom? EEWWW who wants to use the facilities after men have done their splatter, blech! 😳

Anyway, I love this Arjun - so this is the REAL & NORMAL Arjun. He has a cute sense of humor and an honest gentleness in his mannerisms! See he can be human too. First he was stern in a gentle manner when Radhika showed up late, then seeing her distraught face, instantly he asked if everything was ok! Almost felt like he was going to touch her or hold her when Neil showed up. Anyway, Radhika gave her double meaning "colorful" presentation - only person who picked up on those dual meanings was our knight in shining armor! Yay! Well, at the end only Arjun saw the teary eyed Radhika and the previews were just awesome! I love how he tries to be all nonchalant in his concern for her yet if he doesn't get the real answer from her, he goes into this super gentle and care mode. I am envisioning him cupping her face and touching her hair in his concern over her in the future episodes!!!

Now I am not condoning that the revenge Arjun intends to go through with is correct, just that view it from his perspective. From what I understand, Arjun was an orphan, however he was taken in by Nandini-di at a young age, which finally gave him a home and family he probably craved. Rather than caring for and nurturing this young boy, the guardian decides to poison his mind and manipulate him into believing true happiness lies in him carrying out her revenge. Nandini reminds me of a soap drama version of Miss Havisham from Great Expectations! And our Arjun is the confused Estella, 😆! Technically he has never really had anyone who has genuinely cared for him until now. I mean he was trying to be his worst with Radhika initially to scare her away yet she didn't deter - rather she showed genuine care and concern for him when he was hurt. An opposite reaction to what he expected. If it was Sam instead, she would have told him off and left him to fend for himself. So all this unconditional comfort and care that Radhika bestowed was very new to Arjun. Furthermore, it troubled him that she understood him more than anyone he knew. And unintentionally, he let his guard down in front of her - leading to where we are today: He has created a special place for Radhika in his heart and no one is aware of this - even Nandini and Saral aren't completely aware of the depths of feeling Arjun has for Radhika ... they think he is on the path to caring for her, not knowing it's way beyond their perception.

Ok so I liked today's episode because the more Nandini tries to hurt Radhika, the more Arjun will fall in love with her, and eventually it will only be the witch's downfall!! 😎 This could be the straw that frees Arjun from clutches of his Nandini-di. Think about it ... from an Arjun's revenge perspective: Radhika is no longer a roadblock, and she has made peace with everything - he also never wanted to involve her in his revenge saga as he considers her to be too innocent of a person - we can see that from the Lonavala trip... now if she is no threat to the actual revenge plot, and if Nandini tries to harm her, imagine how ballistic Arjun would be ... he doesn't want any harm to happen to Radhika especially now that he has real feelings for her, so consider if/when he finds out what Nandini-di is plotting - ooh the drama!!

Today started with Arjun following Radhika to the washroom and asking with genuine concern if she was ok or not. This REAL NORMAL Arjun is awesome!!! First he tried with some humor so she cheers up in the process and when she hid her emotions, he decided to hold her ever so gently and good lord those eyes just pierced into my soul, forget Radhika, hahaa! ☺️ Jokes aside. I loved the restrained anger when Arjun mentioned "Is it because of Saral" - looked like he was going to rip him apart. I guess it will be later on the show (waiting patiently) 😊. Their entire conversation was so meaningful including the office drowning metaphor, it almost seemed like he could identify with the tears, and I think he did on some level, hence the dialogue about eyes showing the heart's truth. And he almost hugged her until of course the "asli" mom called. Hahaa, good one Arjun - see, he has a funny bone - I like it!! That entire scene was awesome - just shows the understanding, comfort and care these two have for each other. I loved it so much that I couldn't care for common washroom today at Bird song, lol. And I even got the hair caress, swoon.

Saral blackmailing Mala... and Mala, again no words! Just goes to show the mentality of these people. Sigh, feel so bad for Radhika - where is dada-ji when you need him!? Emotional blackmail at its best! 🤢

Later Sam entered the common washroom and Radhika lied as expected she is just being sentimental that Sam's leaving. Arjun gave her a knowing smile but didn't force her to speak the truth. I think Sam will be eating her words when she said she may have to bring Radhika along (into her marriage) as part of dowry. And Arjun smiled to that ... dude, don't smile here - we know it will make you happy ... but restrain your smile, 😆. You know I don't actually blame Sam for being a little bit unaware of why Radhika is upset - I mean she is getting married in less than 10 days, and also has her wave of emotions - plus I think days leading the wedding, your mind is not so focused on other people and things - it's quite natural! So in a way, her actions and mannerisms make sense! Plus it gives more time for Radhika to confide in Arjun!

Saral and Nandini... not much to add - lol Saral would have been a much better minion of Nandini-di than Arjun! I find their scenes amusing... not sure why ... evil vs moron, lol. 🤔

So now Bird-Song also has sangeet practice at office, wow what an amazing place to work!! Funny, how Arjun looked so uncomfortable going into the dance practice session. He kept glancing at Radhika and her mom every chance he got! And I saw a jealous Manya ... she did not like Neil paying attention to Sam at all! I feel she will be a negative character in the Ne-Sam story. Sam was too cute though, going all in the dance / fun mood!! I think that song really suits the character of Sam, "Banno tera swagger"! Poor Arjun couldn't leave even when the song was done. Now it really shows he is putting up a front - probably Manya will find out Arjun has feelings for Radhika but won't say anything so she can have Neil to herself - just my feeling!

Good thing Manya self-injured her hand - Arjun actually got the chance to leave Nach Baliye segment and follow Radhika 😆. Wait, can he read lips? Or can people actually hear all conversations through that glass wall? 😲 Arjun did not look happy when he heard Radhika has to leave tomorrow! And alas the pre-caps with none other than the evil Queen B of Manmarziyan!! Yes, do what you want Nandini because you will lose your only brother in the process of hurting Radhika - ha ha ha ha 😈 !

So those are my 2 cents, which as I scroll up look more like 2 dollars!!

I do have some predictions but I don't want to say them in case I jinx them and disappointment myself. For now, I see the drama gearing up, and the climax to happen right before the wedding or on the wedding day!!
