Encounter - Aradhika OS

Radhika could see Samiara smiling as she linked her arms with Arjun, and her lips formed a smile looking at her friend's happiness but soon were clouded with worry as her eyes felt on Arjun, the same hooded expression with a facade which resisted to fade off. Radhika tried distracting herself than worrying about him because right now it was lame to even think about the mystery woman Nandini, she was no where and as her mother advised she had to be sure before questioning the man himself. Her gaze felt on the another important person, who tried drowning himself in work or rather pretended to drown.

"Ma.. Mein abhi aayi." She told her mother as she stood up with difficulty and took baby steps towards him.

"Tum itne aache se ignore kar sakte ho, yeh mujhe pata ni tha." She said from his back and he turned around

"Chaasni.." He mumbled and instantly made her sit next to him. Her wounds were still fresh.

"Tum kaisi ho ?"

"Mujhe to laga tha tum ghar pe aaoge." She spoke and he diverted himself by digging the fork in the leftovers.

"Tumne kyun kiya ?"

"Huh ?" She replied confused

"Pata hai..jabtak tum nai thi meine kabhi Sam ko leke waisa soch ni aur jab tum aayi..meri zindagi palat gayi." Neil said looking straight at her.

"Baat mere aane ki nai thi Neil.. Tumhare dil ki thi, meine sirf zubaan di par jasbaat tumhare the." She said and he smiled

"Tumse koi nai jeet sakta Chasni." He acted bowing down she smiled.

"Tum tikh ho ab ?"

"Haan..kya tum tikh ho ?"

"Musibat ki hai pyaar karne ki toh nibhana toh padega hi." He smiled with heavy heart and she nodded knowingly.

They talked randomly, both trying to distract oneself from the brewing turmoil inside their heart.

"Radhu ?" The voice made both of them turn towards him.

"Saral ?" Neil looked confused as Radhika tried to act comfortable.

Neil got up to greet him but Saral was just fine with a handshake.

"Chalo yahan se Radhu." Radhika looked at him astonished

"Saral mein Neil se..." Before she could complete he grabbed her hand, though Neil tried calming him down, Saral jerked her on her feet making her close her eyes in pain and stumbling upon the foot of the stool but before anybody could react, radhika found the same broad chest to hold onto. She look at him flabbergasted as he carefully placed his arms around her and help her stand.

"Haath chodho." He turned towards Saral

"Radhu chalo.." Saral did get some balls to counter his bloodshot eyes. Neil looked weirdly at the three while Radhika was too shocked to react. Arjun swiftly held Saral's hand which was on Radhika's wrist and untangled it with all the force. Saral withdrew his hand yelping in pain and walked away before giving at death stare at Radhika

"Sar.." Words left in her throat as Arjun gazed back at her.

"Baith jao araamse." He made her sit and looked at her hand which was in his hands.

"Kuch ni hua hai sir."

"Dikh raha hai." He stared at the deep red mark

"Adaat ho gayi hai sir, kuch din pehle kisi aur ne gusse mein pakda tha aur aaj mere fiancee ne" she spoke and he looked at her instantly.

"Mujhe jaana hoga sir." She said and looked at Neil, gesturing him to help.

Arjun stood rooted as he saw her walk away with her words ringing in his mind, clouding the screams and tears of the past.

"Arjun ?"

"Sir.." He was brought back to world by Samrat

"Kya baar karni thi ?" He looked at him and then at Sam, who stood besides her father

"Birdsong expansion deal ke baare mein.."

Leaving everyone stun but mostly himself.
