Beginning his journey in 2007 as Nakul of Jersey No. 10 on SAB TV, Shravan Reddy has had an interesting journey on Indian Television. Nakul was loved by all...It clicked really well with the audience, Shravan already made a deep impact. After Jersey No. 10 where he delivered one of his finest performances, he was again seen as Samir on Colors' "Mere Ghar Aayi Ek Nanhi Pari". However, owing to a serious knee ligament tear that he had suffered while performing stunts for a commercial show,forced him to go on a sabbatical.
After a painful hiatus of 4 years, Shravan returned to Television with a bang ! He was seen as Arjun on Bindass' "Yeh Hai Aashiqui" where he gave a splendid performance, he proved himself as an impeccable actor., he made the audience cry with his loud cry scene at the end of the episode. He was truly spectacular. Shravan was next seen as Ansh on "MTV Webbed" where he displayed a powerful range of emotions, he stole the show.., ! It was again one of his best performances ! After watching the reel Shravan, now we got to see the Real Shravan Reddy on MTV Splitsvilla 7. This season entirely belonged to Shravan although sunny leone was a part of it. Shravan etched a permanent place in the hearts of the audience through his splendid performances and a stunning game play. We also got to know Shravan better as a kind human being, very simple, ordinary...! Splitsvilla 7 was a landmark in Shravan's career. He was the Star of the show. After his stint with Splitsvilla, we saw Shravan as Rohan on Zing's "Pyar Tune Kya Kiya"...where Shravan was truly amazing, he gave a power packed performance. That show too solely belonged to him. We also saw Shravan as a player of Pune Anmol Ratn on Sony's Box Cricket League, which managed to reached the finals in spite of being a debutante team.
There too we saw Shravan displaying his cricket skills, & was highly appreciated for it. Then comes Manmarzian, the best of Shravan's career till now...This show put him as one of the finest & phenomenal actors on Indian Television. Those who love Neil might not know how Shravan is actually in real life.., its a really difficult challenge for him to fit in the character and pull it off effortlessly since Shravan is the exact opposite of Neil. But once the show began airing & we saw Neil...It was hard for us to believe that its the same silent, reserved, introvert Shravan Reddy playing the character of Neil..Shravan portrays every aspect of Neil as if he's living Neil...which proves him as a hhighly organic actor.
From his entry episode till now, Neil has never disappointed us a bit. From lifting up Samaira to saying "kiss dogi?" in an insubstantial tone to radhika, Neil created a special place in our lives. Everyone wishes to have a best friend like him in their life...It shows how much his character is loved n admired. Shravan has shown the max. acting range on the show. Be it flirting with radhika, being sam's pillar of strength, her protector..from berating sam for bullying radhika, to dropping radhika at the airport, the special bhojpuri talks with sam, confessing his love to sam, going through an emotional turmoil, expressing emotions through the eyes, from trying to bring sam n arjun together to giving intense n deadly glares to arjun when he broke sam's heart.., from accompanying sam in her location hunt...coming in a blue chaddi without any luggage only for sam, to trying antic tricks for a lift...to jumping out of truck..escaping with sam to Khandala...making her believe in love all over again..., Neil is the best on Manmarzian. Hadn't he been such a positive character, the show just wouldn't have had worked, Neil binds every character in one thread. Shravan through his effortless, seemed portayal of Neil makes us believe that he has given his heart,mind n soul to the character. He's therefore, truly a "gem" of an actor, also a human being
