Hey all
Amidst of this couple bashing I am just pointing out what attract me to the show. Off course I have seen many Indian drama's before none of them were actually digestible for me. As per my thinking whether female or male oriented drama they are showing it is not that connected to real world we were living in. Like every shows Manmarziyan also has flaws but changes they tried to incorporate in story is really commendable. Here are unique points I like about show:

1. Frist and for mostly they actually showed real side of relationships. I mean it's not kJo movie where mommy can predict that her son is coming randomly. On one side they portray radhika's mom dad who have much traditional thinking and on other side they showed how sam grown up under high-socialized atmosphere. Both system have pros and cons but still we can't decide which one is better. They showed it was all so causal just like we see around us.

2. Love is not center of life. Some of you may disagree but they actually showed love is not Rosie and dreamy always. Sometimes you fell for wrong person but it ok you can always have second or and for that matter third, fourth chances. It's not if you had break that means you are not qualified for other relationship. In SamArj break up scene kind felt normal when she told Neil that she is ok. (I know it hard but for sake god how much one can morn over a person) then instead of just waiting for prince charming she thought why don't give time to herself. Kind of reminds me movie Queen where girls goes to journey of self-discovery. One can be single and enjoy life at fullest. It is in true sense a feminist behavior which I rarely seen of drama's these days.

3. Guy and girl can be friends in true sense whether they may or may not fall for each. When Neil confess his love Sam still both them didn't took the whole matter over the top drama. Sam tried to talk it out it to Neil confidently and similarly neil also maintain old friendship with her. I see no uncomfortableness between them.

4. Radhika she also shown a lot courage and grown up as person in journey of the show. Girl who before had hard time conveying her thoughts is now finding ease in it. And I believe she will get better with time.

5. Feminism. Well everyone talks about making female oriented shows but I see none of them holds them for long. A girl should be two thing to be qualified as good indian lead, always think about others and be a perfect bahu, lover or maa for that matter. Really guys have ever seen such girl before around you. We modern girls are not like that we are bold like sam and emotionally stable like radz. When I saw sam drinking scene or both radz n sam homeless sitting alone on road I was satisfied that they are breaking the traditional thinking. Both sam and radz stays away from home living independently not because their parents want them out of house but because they choose it to do so. They are career driven and girls having high self-esteem who will not tolerate any inappropriate behaviors. I don't know why that these thing which accepted in society is still taboo for TV.
6. Lastly Neil is my favorite character in show. He is soft hearted caring, loving, funny and easy going. As a viewer we always see arrogant, egoist leads who are always dominating and so called alpha. But here we have neil who is completely unlike them yet his character is maintain strong presence in story. Not to mention girl still drools seeing thou he don't have manliest man thing a bit.

Yes! I agree with this. I totally feel Sam's condition on one hand where she is blamd and has to carry the burden of guilt for "killing" her brother... How Sam's Mom tells her its not because of u but coz of Radhika dis ad is successful and all... That really hurts atleast for me I can totally connect! That is another reason I love Sam as I can relate to her and just lvoe her as a woman if we take out few negative points...
On other hand I can relate to Rads also in few cases... First of all aspiring author which I am too and most important Radhika's character inspires to follow your dreams... To have hope... I really like that

2. Love is not center of life. Some of you may disagree but they actually showed love is not Rosie and dreamy always. Again Sam proves not only the male leads but she is the hero and the HEART OF THE SHOW for me!!!

3. Guy and girl can be friends in true sense whether they may or may not fall for each. When Neil confess his love Sam still both them didn't took the whole matter over the top drama. Yes! I totally agree with this... I ship NeSam but keeping that aside its beautiful what a wonderful friendship they share... the bonding between them which wasnt spoiled because of this love... Friends can remain friends... I am so happy they broke the age old concept of "Ladka LAdki dost nahi ho sakte"

4. Radhika she also shown a lot courage and grown up as person in journey of the show. Girl who before had hard time conveying her thoughts is now finding ease in it. And I believe she will get better with time.

I have learnt to follow my dreams and keep hope and always be strong for what you want as this world is not a wish granting factory... I dont liek Rads always but this I hav to give her her character is totally inspiring in this case

5. Feminism. Well everyone talks about making female oriented shows but I see none of them holds them for long. FOr me the one and only hero of the show is Samaira!! And then everyone else! Tehre are quite a few scenes liek the ones you mentioned... Both Sam and Radz... Way to go for these girls!!!! 😃😃

6. Lastly Neil is my favorite character in show. He is soft hearted caring, loving, funny and easy going. Neil and samaira are well etched normal characters..they can be u and me.

Radz and Arjun seem more dramatic which is fine because it is a fiction show..!

I love Samaira a lot. I love NeSamArj a lot. I love Neil-Sam bonding becoz friendship is one thing that is way much stronger than love. And I love NeSam as that. And Arjun on the other hand is a complicated character 😆 He seems to be confused himself. I can suggest a good psychiatrist for him.. But then cnt blame him becoz for the past fifteen years his brain has been filled with revenge revenge and revenge and Sam Sam and Sam only 😆And u did not include my Tejika in ur analysis 😲 Anyways.. Mei khushi bol deti hoon 😛 The fun factor of the factor of the show is my Tejika 😳 The cute factor of the show 😳
P.S. Ur DP ☺️

Loved your post...refreshing...without any bashing...agree with all the points...
Right now what is disappointing is the character development of Radhika...it had so much scope...they have made her the resident jasoos and cartoonish...hope they show her as mature and composed and not kiddish...i could not believe what they showed yesterday in that car scene...she is going the way of many other lead characters...overly bubbly, over smart, irritating, i-know-everything sorts..so cliched...hope she gets better dialogues...she deserves better...Arjun's arm twisting scenes are so boring...yawn...yawn..i definitely like him with Samaira...no chemistry between him and Rad..

Samaira and Neil are the only characters i like right now...sometimes they tend to over do the friendship part...hope they contain it a bit..also Neil deciding to go on date with his girlfriend after confessing his love to Sam...Sam asking him about his date...the whole scene looked so fake...hope they keep their friendship real...otherwise there's no appeal left in the show..

Nice to see your post.
I for one started liking the show because of the way they presented it. Its sleek, young and with good performances.

The best part is showing the journey of these 2 gals who are polar opposites in terms of their background yet they come together as friends They show how their lives are interconnected and their growth both as individuals and in their friendship.

Neil and sam are wonderful which is partly because of the wonderful chemistry between shravan and kashmira , I love that their story of friends turning lovers is presented differently, you have a friend who realized he is in love, confessed it immediately yet when he knew he is just a friend to her, maintains the same with her. They talk it out and sort t out, how many shows have we seen that????? none

There is love in their relationship from one side so far yet the friendship and the comfort level they share is intact so far. You can see the physical hesitation in Neil now coz they have to show that change in him coz he is in love and to show it had to be done.

overall, I like the show for the freshness in presentation
