Manmarziyan- Nothing to discuss but love?

Hey everyone! 😊

I am here to talk about something that bothers me about Manmarziyan- the fact that there is no overarching storyline as of now, that ties the whole story together. Frankly, the whole couple game is getting a little boring now and MMZ should buck up and come up with a gripping storyline.

There needs to be some other glue which holds this show together, apart from just 'love triangles/rectangles' etc. Plus, it also doesn't bode well for MMZ when it comes to TRPs, if the sole focus is on love, whatever the couples may be. We know romantic shows where the sole focus is on romance, don't do well.

MMZ can introduce some workplace rivalries, jealousy etc in Birdsong, show more of Radhika's struggle (Since that's what the show is supposed to be about), Sam's inner demons and her battle for acceptance etc. The show just can't revolve only around love, that will be a fatal mistake.

What say?

Actually I want to see SaRa and ArEil.. Bt CVs want to show Muhfali. And its super boring. I seriously want to see Radhika fulfiling her dreams, Sam going higher and higher in life and throwing the ring at Arjun's heart after getting to know of his intentions, Neil moving on and Arjun turning good. I want to watch four of them together 😊 And I want to see myself with Teji enjoying our honeymoon 🤣

I think a lesser focus on couples and more focus on a gritty storyline is needed. They need to weave the love stories with other interesting themes, like some social issues, workplace issues etc. I think the show is pretty slow for now.

I like the couples- NeSam and ArDhika, but there needs to be more.

Exactly, what bothers me is its storyline which is changing to a love story when it was not a love story in starting...it was about struggle of Radhika & Samaira...now with how they face it that should be focused!
I don;t mind any couple in the show, they can make any couple I have no problem with it but there needs to be a story for it. Recent ones with Arjun forcing himself on Radhika because he is her boss is too much used as a story in many other shows...they shouldnot and need not show this. Radhika is already engaged!

Agreed. MMZ is like a ship without its rudder right now. In a bid to focus on the love stories, the story's heart is missing. Let's hope it picks up and finds its stride. Hopefully, all these plot holes will be covered once the CVs lay down the foundation for the couples.

I wanna see more of Radhika's struggle in the ad industry, some workplace drama, Sam's battle with her inner demons etc. I think Sam-Piyali storyline was concluded way too soon. That was a very meaty angle which could have been a long-standing storyline for the show.

Thanks.
Agreed!

Radhika is just a newbie and they cannot just make her a thorough professional...people take YEARS ti become professional!

Sam has just reunited with her mum, there can be some scenes between them...

I don;t understand Arjun's character...why the revenge kind of expressions all the time!

Neil on the other hand is much positive!

I do think we have other things to talk about...we just don't talk about it.
Bonnie arjun dynamics, samrat piyali relationship, I might gush about arjun radhika's cute/comic scenes but I do see that right now they feel nothing for each other...so I am keeping this in mind while watching this track.

I liked that bonnie threatened arjun and that arjun had nothing to say when she did so...that makes her different from the 'stupid and scared of the male lead' female characters that 4 Lions shows.

I was wondering about samrat piyali after their conversation in the party..did they have problems only because of jay's death or because of birdsong's financial condition too? They have shown samrat feeling less respected in the office circle.

We have stuff to talk about..we just don't amidst the whole kaun banega mrs arjun mehra competition.

gripping story line is very much needed. it matters the most.
till now, i loved rishikesh track the most, i guess show started with decent rating of 1.6 with it even when there was no arjun in show !!
then story shifted to mumbai & things start going haywire, with no balance being maintained among stories of all characters. wonder were CVs themselves confused !!
since last week it seems story is atleast going somewhere !! hope TRPs also increase !!
just throwing romantic scenes between different characters at different times has no meaning.
show does have many elements for gripping story line with progressing love stories inter wined !!
let's see how CVs utilize the potential !!
