Whats up with the Romantic link ups? Lets focus on friendship for once

So I have been reading posts after posts about Samraj Saneil Ardhika Raneil and I would like to say one thing that why are we so obsessed with romantic couples and relationships? Why can't we see any relationship from any other angle?

Coz girl indian telly thrives on romantic linkup's. We are not capable of watching a show without getting pulled into this romantic whirlpool. We are not capable of watching a show without a girl and guy interacting and not going oooh Ahhh OMG OMG look he's in love with her*rollseyes*. Believe me the best shows are those that don't have romance but indian telly is devoid of that. Honestly the best couples I have shipped in both British and American shows have all been platonic. In our telly land a girl and a guy just have to speak and ppl go shipping them. It is a sad state lol.

^^Blame the ppl watching the shows and the ppl creating them catering to the needs of those ppl. We have still not progressed from pinning to the walls, twisting of arms, pulling the face 🤢 they will never be able to create good dramas like parenthood, modern family which has something for everyone. All we care abt is trip catch falls and how long the eye stares are going on for. Let us keep our stop watches handy 😳

Indian telly will take generations to improve quality wise. It lacks genre because people basically more inclined towards drama and romance so makers dun get room for trying other genre. In indian telly shows like Everest is very rare to see. Here trp audience love to watch cliched show so makers serves us with same old repetative traingles,love hate relationship, guy manhandeling girl n blah blah. I still hope that they can deliver us something new more about their yaariyan and dosti. I really hope the ph vl improve from here onwards

I ll watch a frndship drama one for Neil an Sam loved their frndship.. but its cant the same I think seem thy ll make Neil falls for Sam.. other thn Im ok with a drama of Sam-Arjun-Radz

I hate those stupid Mills n Boons stories where trip fall catch make the whole story.
I wish we have more shows like Everest, Parvarish, LRL(Till Rajeev Khandelwal was a part), Time Bomb, Rishta.com, Seven, Khotte sikkey and so on. Its not like I hate romantic stories but then everything is not about it also. Other relations or stories can also be explored. I am fine with romance being a side subtle track but fanwars on such tracks are beyond me.

Shows like Everest have happened earlier also but they are very rare. I wish the CVs listen to us and proceed accordingly. More than the CVs the forum annoys me. The show is still going good but all I see here are posts about girl falling for guy or viceversa. No good discussions about character development except for some about Arjun beimg a psycopath and I loves that one. Good to see fans who can distinguish between a hero ams a stalker.
I disagree on the generations part. I think it will take centuries 😆

The fanwars on couples part puts me off. On the other hand I love the show. Its going good
Just that the pace is a bit slow
