An ode to a fiery princess. SAM - A CHARACTER ANALYSIS

Samira Khanna aka Sam is the fiery princess of the show. When the world goes in one way she looks at it and scoffs and then perfectly turns her stylishly high heels and walks in opposite direction...the road not taken.

She doesn't bog down to people's perception of how she should be because seriously she loves the way she is and doesn't care a damn about what others think of her! She doesn't judge others and is least bit bothered of how others judge her.

She seems like a princess with a kingdom of her own. Like she has everything anyone could ever ask for ... a big mansion, a loyal friend, an obsessed admirer, loving parents and an inheritance -Bird Song.

But like most times appearances can be deceptive. She has all these yet none belong to her. A big mansion where there was no space for her when she was stranded on middle of nowhere... a loyal friend whose anger gets the better of him most of the times... an obsessed admirer whose very obsession is to shatter her from inside out... A mother who can't stand the sight of her ... a father who is struggling with his allegiance dilemma to his wife and daughter...

And a deep rooted guilt of maybes...maybe if she was more careful that fateful day... maybe her brother would have been with her today... maybe what her mother believes is the truth ... maybe...she had actually killed her own brother?

She is princess of a kingdom of one... She and she alone exists in it...

But she goes on like the lone reed standing tall in the storm, like the beautiful flower which stands bright against freezing snow... Defiant. But in her troubles she never forgets others, she is free in her praises, loyal in friendship, truthful in her actions, sincere in her relationships, helpful without asking and understanding without explanations... a child at heart who tries to find all the solutions to her problems in a bar of chocolate which she happily shares... And talented beyond others imagination.

That doesn't mean she doesn't have her flaws... vulnerable, decievable by skilled masters, short tempered and so on and so forth... But thank God for her flaws... it's what makes her human ... makes her real. She is no angel on earth... she is even better ... a truly beautiful human on earth.

But time will win like it always does ... and she will eventually break ...

But when she burns down she will take her kingdom and everything around with her... And when she finally rises from the ashes like a fiery Phoenix, a new kingdom will rise with her... One which will bow to her and not the other way around.

Niki dear, no words. You beautiful described Sam. very well written. I loved every each and word. Hats off to you to writer who created Sam character, hats off to Kash who is brilliantly portraying the character. A big applause for them and hats off to you how you put Sam character.

Yes she don't follow others she search her own path may be some thinks she is egoistic but what ever she doing she is only responsible. She don't blames any one. Believe or not some people lives revolves around her.

The last para was so beautiful I loved it. Yes she is Phoenix bird and she rises with her own ashes and I am waiting for that day. In this journey I am with her.

True she is the Queen of her own world. True that she doesen't give a damn abt wht people think of her. True she has flaws.

A human being has flaws. And Samaira Khanna is no exception.. But her flaws are what make us admire her more and she is one such person that accepts her flaws without thinking of what people would say.. I would say KUDOS to her for that..

Having everything and yet not having them is what she is going through. Her only solace as of now is herself and her chocolate which she gladly shared with her shadow - Radhika..

Aww dear thank u 🤗 And yeah some people might call her egotistic but my question to them is aren't we all at some point? Don't we all have an id, ego and super ego? 😳 Sam has her's other characters have their own... And lives revolving around her? Beautifully said dear! She is the fulcrum on which many people's lives are spinning ... now be it for hate or love ... her existence and and every action makes a difference to them..
