Hello all.
I'm here again😊. I hope u guys aren't fed up of me.
Well i'm here to appreciate the fathers in this show. They do deserve appreciation for being realistic in this melodramatic tv world. Didn't they?
Let me start with Samrat, Sam's father. I don't have words for him. We have seen piyali always hurting sam because of the past. The justification she gives is that she lost her son because of sam. But, haven't samrat too lost his son? Did he too started to move away from sam? No, he hadn't. Instead he forgave sam, he is doing all he can to mend the relationship between mother and daughter and also to heal sam's past wounds, which unknowingly had gone deeper because of piyali. I love the way he is with his daughter just like a friend. He too might have turned bitter like piyali but hasn't, may be because he didn't want to loose his daughter too after losing his son. Any father in his place would have done the same because for parents all their children are equally special and no one would want to lose or hurt the other for losing one. I'm happy that the cv's had given him the realistic touch rather than melodramatic when they have possibility to do it.
Coming to dilip, radhika's father. At first i thought him as a typical tv father. And how wrong i was! I'm actually glad that i was wrong. Being from a small town he too had the possibility to be the typical father for whom girl child's is just a burden or have a opinion that girls are just made to do kitchen chores and don't have a life out of it. He is not at all a typical father. He is just a normal father who is worried about his daughter's future. Which is very normal for any father. He trusts his daughter and understands her very well. He wants his daughter to stay happy and don't have any regrets in her life. He hasn't even budged when saral's family insulted him and tried to scare him about radhu's future, because he understood that his daughter's happiness is in becoming something not in marrying. It does deserves an applause.
And last but not the least, radhu's dadu. How can we forget him! He is such a cool grand-father. He broke the stereo-type for dadaji's. I like him a lot.
And the cv's too deserve the appreciation for giving us such natural, realistic fathers. I seriously hope, they maintain these characters with same simplicity and don't change them drastically for trps.😊
