The actress has been down with viral fever since the 6th of this month, yet, she has been shooting 12 hours continuously everyday.

Mreenal Deshraj aka Padmini of Doli Saja Ke Rakhna is down in the dumps these days.

Literally. The actress has been down with viral fever since the 6th of this month, yet, she has been shooting 12 hours continuously everyday.

"My co-actors, namely my hero and my mother-in-law in the serial, are going abroad next week, so I have no choice but to finish off my combination scenes with them. I understand the production house's problem and they understand mine, but we both can't help each other! So I'm working despite being weak. I need two people to hold me when I walk," says Mreenal.

But what really made matters worse was a minor goof up on the part of her chemist, because of which the poor actress had been swallowing three sleeping pills a day! "Instead of taking three doses of my medicine, I was taking three sleeping pills. No wonder
I was extra drowsy and weak. When I realised, I didn't know whether to laugh or cry!"

And what does she have to say about the fact that TV actors are fainting on the sets because of being overworked? "One can't blame us actors, we're committed to the serial and the production house. This is our job. But one can't even blame the production houses, after all, they have to meet their deadlines too. It's a catch-22 situation," says Mreenal.
