Kanwal Mookhey and Karishma Randhawa

Karishma Randhawa aka Riddhima of Sahara One's Doli Saja Ke will marry Kanwal Mookhey this September. Kanwal is the brother of former Miss World Yukta Mookhey.

Karishma is excited about her wedding. She has been dating Kanwal for the past seven months. She says, "It wasn't love at first sight. In fact, our families introduced us to each other. We started meeting and realised that we have a lot of things in common. After a few months, we knew that we are made for each other and decided to get married. Naturally, our families are more than happy with the development. It's something like an arranged-cum-love marriage."

Karishma always wanted an articulate and well-read person. She says, "He is both intellectual and down to earth. The best part is that he has a great sense of humour and not a hypocrite like other men I have come across in my life."

Kanwal is into the software business . Karishma says, "I kept mum about our relationship as Kanwal likes to maintain a low profile. He does not have any intention of acting, although my sister-in-law Yukta is known in the glamour industry."

As both of them are Punjabis, their families were more than delighted to settle for chat mangni pat byah in September. "The engagement is on September 22 and the wedding is on the next day. We have already done the roka. The wedding is going to be a typical big fat Punjabi one and all my relatives and friends are enthusiastic about it. As I am from Chandigarh, our wedding is going to take place in my hometown," says Karishma.

Will Karishma bid farewell to television? Karishma says, "Not at all. I have my career aspirations and Kanwal does not have any problem with it. I just don't want to take on any more projects this year. Bottom line is that I will be around."
