I m really sorry but such individuals DO exist. That's the truth. Period.
Whether one wants to believe it or not- that's their opinion. What's wrong in showing how women are ACTUALLY treated? Not trying to compare, but how many "heroines" from the daily shows do u think actually do exist in real life- they get the best husbands, they roam around with 10kg gold necklaces & things just fall into place when they ring the temple bell. Sure it may be entertaining for some, but that's far from reality. Koi sci-fi show dekh lo isse achaa.
AND, what will banning a show like DAK do? What else needs to be banned in India- let's see street plays depicting rape? Kyun bhai- itni violence aur woh bhi harr roj?? BAN THEM.. Movies depicting domestic violence? Hawww.. Ban them.. If the viewers can't tolerate the 'nonsense' being portrayed by Samrat, then they should switch the channel.
😉 I haven't been a regular viewer either. I mean bardaasht ki hadd hoti hai.. And I too grew sick of him.. I took a break. I HAD to take a break when I couldn't bear to see Samrat Ji's atrocities- theeek hai, I said.. This can continue.. But why should I? I never wanted the show to be stopped without Samrat getting punished though.. Guess what? There are women who get this Samrat waala channel 24/7 in their lives. Closing our eyes & being a pigeon, hoping the cat won't attack, coz I can't see it wont do any good. What if Urmi's fight is inspiring a young girl RIGHT now to stand against her abusive hubby? What if a women who's been divorced from a guy like Samrat is cheering Urmi on at this very moment? And why ban, Hainji? 😆 what's the fault of these wonderful, WONDERFUL actors & actresses? Instead of appreciating their works- ban it? I can only IMAAAGINE what Mohit must be going through when he has to get into Samrat Ji's disgusting zone & when he steps out of it- viewers hate him. Hang in there, Mohit. We love ur work & WE LOVE YOU. And it's an AWESOME show. I missed DAK -Ammaji's & Samrat's acting is like NO OTHER- and so I came back to watch it. I am glad the story is picking pace & hopefully the tables will be turned now - after months and months of waiting. So yuppp TM.. It's an EXCELLENT show.. And kudos to all the actors! Cheers 👏

Hi this is my first post in this forum. I've also returned to IF after a long hiatus having gotten bored with the constant bickering on some other forums.
I think DAK is highlighting a very important human rights issue that is very relevant throughout the world. Abuse of women, spouses and family members is a daily occurrence for sooo many people throughout the world.

I applaud the writers, producers, actors and everyone involved in this show for having the courage to deal with this highly sensitive issue. I hope that people who find themselves in similar situations learn from the show and get some hope that there is a way out of the nightmare.

I hope that the courage continues and is not derailed by TRP hunting.

DAK keep going for as long as you remain relevant. Power to survivors of abuse!!!.

This is currently one of the best show of TV
TV shows should show reality of indian household ..It should show what happens to most women in India ..They have actually shown very well how Urmi used to dream of a perfect husband like most of the girls in our country. What she gets is MCP husband who does not respect anyone. They have shown Urmi's growth ,how she got strength to fight for her own rights and becomes independent .It is an inspiration in itself.

Yes at time Samrat 's torture is intolerable ,but that is how most men are ..MCP ..and even though I am a man ,I feel people like Samrat exist in almost every household

I 👏 for this show and for the great actors who have taken this show to great heights. Mohit Malik's role of Samrat has changed the dimensions of the Television, where male lead always portrayed a good boy. Mohit Malik's acting wonders made us wonder struck. He really showed that he is the Samrat of the TV world. Neha Marda is showing her powerful acting. I love her more now then before. I love Mataji. Hope to see more scenes between mother-son. All other actors are doing perfect justice to their roles. Overall DAK is a master piece based on reality subject.
Once again 👏 for DAK team...

Agree with TM!

We have this major problem in society.. How mens are ruling and dominating the womens and its a fact!

I applaud DAK team for bringing such a concept which is base on real issues and not some romantic soap or saas bahu crap!

And Special applaud to Mohit Malik and Neha Marda!

I agree with you. Few years back when I was going to through domestic violence, a serial called Ladies special inspired me to take step out of that bad marriage and encouraged me to
give a fresh start to my life...
Today when Urmi is divorced from guy like Samrat I am very happy...
But one thing I don't want them to show only negative things in serial, they should show some positive things in Urmi's life...
