Neha aka Urmi to be replaced in 'Doli Armaanon Ki'?

Television's famous show, 'Doli Armaano Ki' might very soon see a new face playing the lead role of Urmi Samrat Singh Rathore on the show. According to sources, currently Neha Marda plays the lead character in the serial but due to her poor acting skills the production house is planning to replace her with a new face, which has reportedly been finalised.

Gossipmongers say that when Neha came to know about the production house planning to drop her from the show, she reportedly called up the concerned people and asked the producers to give her some time to improve her acting skills.

Only time will tell whether Neha's request has been accepted or the audience will get to see a new Urmi on the small screen.

Currently the show is going through an interesting plot where Urmi's husband Samrat Singh Rathore, played by Mohit Malik, has met with an accident and is bedridden. Before this twist, Samrat had beaten Urmi for not listening to him.

As readers we can never be 100% sure such articles are true or not till such events take place; so of course you can take it with a grain of salt but I did see the above news on several websites so thought to share it with the rest of you guys in the forum 😊

It's a pity if she is being replaced - granted the characterization of Urmi is sub-par in relation to the story line and tracks but I wouldn't blame the actress Neha for that - that should be more on the production house/channel side.

We as viewers want to see Urmi standing up and giving it back to Samrat - thats a story line/track/lesson - how that is executed is primarily the vision of the production house with certain parameters set by the channel. Ultimately the actor's out put will be a result of what they have been asked to do - personally I don't think Neha's acting is bad - i think she is doing what is being asked of her - its the story/screen play that is flawed or inconsistent for what we'd like to be seeing on screen.

I am surprised by this article. I thought Neha had been applauded for her acting skills when she was playing the character of Gehna in the show, "Balika Vadhu." Arleast thats what i had read. Personally, I think she is a good actress. If this news is true then there has to be another reason why the production house wants to replace her. It would be a loss to us- the viewers if we have to accept a new face.

If this news is true, then I would say that absolute injustice has been done to the actress. She is a fab actress and is doing what her character and story is permitting her to do. I have watched her in Balika Vadhu before and after her replacement (coz of her marriage in real life) the character has been changed altogether. She has portrayed a very fiery and brave character in BV. Its a shame.

IF this rumor is true then my question would be..
What kind of role have they given Neha?!

A person who had trouble standing up to Samrat until Tau Ji came in to give her "confidence"?

A woman finally decided to stand up to physical abuse and sent her husband to jail? But in the end she succumbed to her family members' demands?
Which actress would be extremely comfortable doing this type of role?
Frankly speaking, I haven't noticed any bad acting..and obviously there must be some other reason behind this..?
And then of course in the end, I think this whole thing is just a rumor.

This line is what makes this article all cooked up. These statements are so cheap written by any writer who has written this . How much ever bad actress any one be , words can be little twisted one not such direct one.

It is showing that the writer is aiming at the actress...
