A Rit and a Rat???

So I'm curious as to what is the purpose of this track. I was hopeful that Aditi's husband would have a twin brother who is wooing Trisha. Clearly that failed.

Now that we know Amrit (is that his name?) aka Aditi's husband is a cheat - what is the objective of this track?

I remember seeing some time Aditi telling her mother that she and her husband are "happy" regardless of their financial state. Was Aditi lying because she knows her husband is not the man she thought him to be and it hurts her pride to come home and admit she made a mistake in character judgement? If she comes back then that would reinforce Samrat's tyrannical nature - he didn't want Aditi to marry outside his wish - because he "knows what's best and he gets what he wants" That should not be happening.

Did Amrit marry Aditi knowing that she is Samrat's sister and would get financial help from her family to support themselves? So far we haven't seen him working or Aditi mentioning any work related commitments of her husband - what is the deal there?

Is this some kind of twisted revenge strategy on Amrit's part? He has something against Samrat (not that I can blame him there) AND he has something against Trisha?

If he is just a philander by nature - are they trying to show Samrat meeting his match? No matter how angry he is at his sister - the reality is that she is his sister and no brother (well normal human brothers - not inhuman monsters) will tolerate his sister being used/cheated/hurt - will this open Samrat's eyes to the wrong that he is doing/has done so far?

Over all this show is doing a good job of showing girls who are swept away by emotions not making rational decisions - Aditi (assuming she had warning flags about her husband and his philandering nature) got swept away and married a cheat. Urmi - was blinded by her idea of ideal romance and an ideal husband and over looked all the warning signs EVEN after Trisha pointed them out - she's paying the price now. Trisha - this is the most disappointing turn of events - for someone as grounded and rational as Trisha to be duped by a cheat - that just surprises me - I know she's been trying to resist his advances but the reality is if you are being showered by attention and someone is pursuing you - it can cloud your judgement - i just didn't expect Trisha to get duped THIS easily.

The hopeful side is that this serves as a wake up call to all girls that just cause you "love" someone or they "love" you or they say they do and pursue you or just because your family gives the stamp of approval to someone - doesn't mean they are trustworthy or are what you want them to be- USE YOUR OWN JUDGEMENT - don't let the emotional side of you rule your decision making process - take a step back and analyse the facts - i know this is easier said than done but raising awareness is the first step.

Hopefully in the show (wishful thinking i know) they will portray all the women banding together and showing these men their worth!
