I am very shocked with Urmi's father. He was so easily 'bought' by Samrat. All Samrat had to give him was an expensive watch and he was willing to foce his daughter to go back to her horrible husband. Very sad 😭

Are there fathers like this out there?

Its actually not cos that watch. Sam is smart he knew that her father is not strong like a real dad. So he bought him expensive gift just to "win his heart" shows himself a real caring loving hubby to Urmis dad. I think this is the reason cos Sam could also buy Urmis mom something expensive but he knows she doesnt "like" him and cant "win" her heart so easily like that looser dad of Urmi.

Urmi's dad would have not even needed the watch .. he would have agreed anyway after few talks.

Your point is very true indeed. In the beginning of the show it seemed as though he would support Urmi under all circumstances and when she needed him most he did not. Now he seems like a very weak person as he was so easily influenced by Samrat. He is too worried about his reputation rather than his daughter's wellbeing. All the time "loga kya sochenge", "sasural kya sochenge"... I hope that this changes and he realises how bad Samrat is as a husband.
