Urmi running away from her problem? If there is no maika where she would have gone?

Why cant she call the police to lodge a complaint against samrat?
Samrat needs some police treatment urgently. More than that mohallawala man.

Urmi's reaction is so typical. mai maike chali jaoongi.

Urmi has a place to go and that first had to be where she feels safe and loved and that is her parents house.

Many women stay with abusers because they have no place to go. Where I am from there is a place set up for "Battered" women. I am not sure if there is this kind of shelter in India but there needs to be one where women are safe from abuse from abusive husbands and in many cases in India abuse from in-laws too.

Urmi may be not strong yet but she will need to be if she has to deal with SamRAT.

SamRAT is ready to say now that I don't want her back but when it will come a time when his ego is hurt he is going to retaliate with the same anger and bullying.
Then Urmi will need to strong to stand up to the bully.

SamRAT will be surprised to see this new Urmi that will not be cowering under his
unreasonable demands.

Let's be real. In real life, nothing would happen to Samrat for that slap, even if Urmi did go to the police.
Trisha is part of the police force now, so they will be shown as competent and non-corrupt.

She chose to go to her father's house because she desperately wanted to feel beloved!.
She needed a shoulder to cry on and who's shoulder could be better than her mother's?
She wanted them is the reason she went there and I think she and Trisha will file a case against Samrat when Urmi's state of mind will calm down a little. Trisha herself being a part of the police force would prove beneficial for them.

But the old lady and the father are not happy. From their facial expressions one can make out. They wont allow ghar ka mamla police thak jaaye. Urmi will be forced to compromise.

If Urmi is a working woman, she could have other options.

Going to police isn't necessarily easy nor encouraged a lot of time in India. Ppl fear what could happen to their izzat in the society when things like these comes out in the public. Besides, no one necessarily wants to deal with police - it isn't easy anywhere esp. under circumstances of domestic abuse...
Btw. Samrat is on my last nerve...can we have thread where we can all slap him virtually atleast 😆

I agree with this part. I am not completely sure about the father but the grandmother. Watch she will ask why Urmi had to create such a scene in the first place. And the father will probably fall in line with the grandmother. Rashmi too is suspect, not in blaming Urmi but in trying to get her to forgive Samrat and go back.

There was no doubt in my mind that Urmi's Daadi, father and even Rashmi will try to make light of what SamRAT did.

Maybe not go to the police but Urmi will have to stand firm in her decision to stay away from the bully.

Urmi first has to tell the whole story to them all to realize that Urmi did not just leave because she was slapped but that she has been systematically been verbally and emotionally abused too.

Whether she is a working woman or not is not the point right now because she is educated enough to get a job and stand on her own two feet after her divorce.

The most important part is to give Urmi a choice to make up her mind and not belittle her apprehension and her decision to stay away or go back.

Nobody should be allowed to force her into any decision because that would be just like how SamRAT treated her. And that is not fair or right.
