Part 9Raghu's POVJust the uncomfortable look on her face made me want to comfort her I don't know why, but a part of me wanted to bring a smile on her face and part was worried of how to eventually start the conversation. I don't know why Antara makes me nervous as I approached the bed I saw her reading. I knew how to start the conversation. I asked her but she was a girl and she wouldn't hear me, but I am going to force her when I read what she was reading after she gave me the book I was thinking of various things but just as I remember her face when I came out of bathroom I didn't want to make her uncomfortable anymore so I just gave her a smile. I felt reassured that she was calming down I really laughed with her that night. In last 5 years I don't remember a day when I laughed soo much. I felt bad as I shouted at her, but it was for the best I was even thinking about her before drifting off to sleep. What is happening to me he thought to himself, but he pushed the thought out of his mind and slept with a big happy smile on his face.
Antara's POVI don't know why I feel uncomfortable, I am here since two days I shoudn't be but why?? She was thinking to herself. Just as Raghu entered the room she felt something, but I just took the book I wanted to read and read a paragraph. I wanted to read, but I felt his eyes on me when I looked at him I felt a questioning look on his. I felt nice to talk to a guy so nicely and so openly. After 5 years I really can open up to him she thought the moment he kept his hand on my stomach and I felt butterflies in my stomach. Before going to sleep a thought came to my mind, but his smile had relaxed me and his laughter was beautiful and with that thought she went off to sleep.
Next morning Antara got up early she saw Raghu sleeping innocently his face looked relaxed and he looked quiet sweet.
Why was she thinking she thought in that way she quickly shook her head and cleared her head. She got up and quickly got a nice jeans n plain white shirt to wear and quickly took a shower. When she came out she saw Raghu was still sleeping without making noise she applied kajal and wore her make up minimal and went to kitchen. She knew all will come for breakfast by 8 to 8:30, the servant helped her to make breakfast and set the plates while doing that she heared Raghu's mom walking up to her.
"Good morning aunty".
"Good morning beta what are you doing here??"
"Aunty I made breakfast today".
"But why beta??"
"I like to do that I am used to do that for my dad, but since five years I have been on my own, I felt lonely. But the last two days I got to know you all. It felt like a family I never had". Tears started to roll down her eyes she had been all lonely in past years but she wiped her tears and smiled at Raghu's mom. Mrs. Naik and Antara set up the breakfast table one by one everyone came to the table and they could smell nice omlets. Antara made all sat down in table laughing and smiling all had their breakfast. Raghu left early saying that he will pick Antara at 12 :30 to which she nooded yes. All the guys and Raghu's dad went to office.
So now all the ladies were on their own they sat down on sofa.
Ankita, Rukhsana, Surbhi, Antara and Raghu's mom. All ladies talked alot, but Antara was somehow lost in her own thoughts she was thinking about her dad, about Raghu, about yesterday's night then suddenly Rukhsana called her. Antara screamed Raghu's name loudly, after knowing what she did she was embarassed and blushed. All ladies started a round of teasing and talking again. It was 11:30 when Antara saw her watch and she got up saying Raghu will pick her up to go to her office to give resignation.
"You are going to resign??" Rukhsana asked.
"Yes" she nooded.
"But why Antara, I mean you love your job don't you??"
"Yes I do but then Raghu says its to far away and travelling everyday is risky and I must respect his decision. He is already doing so much for me." Antara spoked.
"You know Antara you are such a sweetheart" said Surbhi.
"You know dear you have brought our Raghu back to us the one who laughs, smiles, talks and all thanks to you so much beta. I am really greatful to you." Raghu's mom said and kissed Antara on her forehead.
"Aunty don't say that please I am very lucky to have such a great and caring family."
Raghu was standing at the door listening to their convo, he was angry with Antara because he thought she was thinking that Raghu is doing some kind of greatfullness on her. But as Antara's eyes went on Raghu she gave him a sweet smile and he forgot all his anger with just one smile of hers. Raghu entered the house and he told Antara to get ready fast. Raghu informed his mom and the others that they will have lunch outside and he will drop Antara before going to work.
As Antara came down Raghu was staring at her she was wearing a nice plain black knee length dress with white shoes and silver studs along with the minimal make up she looked beautiful he thought. He lead Antara to his car they both remained silent, but Antara finally broke the silence.
"How was your meeting and how did you reach so early??"
This reminded him he had heared Antara speaking about her being greatful.
"Antara so you think I am doing some kind of greatfullness to you by bringing you home. Do you really think that??"
"Why do you think like that??" Antara asked.
"Antara don't lie you are leaving this job just because I told you then please don't." He said that in angry tone, he was angry because he want Antara to be all right and was not doing this for just because it was his duty. Antara could fell the tension growing between them. Raghu didn't make an eye contact because he knew if he made made an eye contact with her he would forget his anger.
Seeing this Antara felt that she had really hurt him and a tear rolled down from Antara's eyes.
"No Raghu you are misunderstanding me I didn't mean I thought you are doing so much for me also you gave me the biggest happiness of my life. You gave me a loving and caring family. You gave me the child and I think I owe you this I love my job but you and your family and our child mean more than anything to me now."
Raghu could feel her cry he stopped the car and took her hand in his hands and pressed it a little to give her a reassurance.
"Antara do u really want to leave this job or should I arranged something else for you."
"Raghu I have already made up my mind, but can I ask you for something?"
"Yes ofcourse tell me"
"Can I work with you I mean I don't have anything to do at home also Ankita, Rukhsana and Surbhi are not always there, so I was thinking maybe?"
