Chapter 48
They came at a quite far from the marriage hall. The empty street of midnight was an advantage for them and raghu could drive the car in full speed. Antara was frequently looking at back to check if they were following them or not. Still there was no one in her view but she had strong feeling that they were not out of danger yet. Just at the moment a huge machinery crack could be heard and the engine of the jeep stopped. Both of them felt jerk in their feature and looked at the engine of the jeep from where the grey smoke was coming out. "oh god ab kya huya?!" antara said in worried voice looking towards the smoke. "kya pata... sara panvati ek sath aaj hi hona tha..." he said in irritated voice, "tu idhar baithi rahe... apun dekhta hain.." he said towards antara in assuring tone and jumped down from the jeep. He lifted the bonnet and after some quick glances he strone on the jeep with so much frustration. Antara came down from jeep and stood at his side. "kya huya raghu?!" she asked in worried voice. "arey pura engine bigra huya hai jeep ka.. sayad repair karne ke liye hi udhar rakha huya tha... ab ye ek inch bhi naii hil payegi.. raam namm sattya hain ho gaya iska.." he said. "oh noo!! Ab kya hoga.." she said in anxiety. At that moment they heard the sound of a jeep approaching from the far distance. "oh god!! Kahin ye wohi log toh nahin.." she said in wide eyes. "arey itni adhi raat ko unn logon ke siwah aur kaun hain jo aise sunsan sarak pe car race karengey?!.. dekh miscall time naii hain... jaldi bata idhar chupne layak koi jagah hain ki nahin?!" raghu asked. "udhar ek purani factory hain. par uss gali mein bahut andhera hain!" She said indicating towards left side. "chal..." he dragged her and got mixed on the darkness of narrow lane.
"hey stop the car..." one of the men said from anwar's jeep. "hey what happened babban?!" anwar asked. "sir look there is the jeep." Babban said. "yes, there it is..." anwar didn't waited and he jumped from running jeep. He and his men came towards the jeep and saw the smoke. "sir, I think jeep kharap ho gayi hain..." babban said from side. "haan wo toh mujhe bhi dikh raha hain par hain kahan dono?!!" anwar's murderous gaze moved at every side. There was dal lake at one side of road. They were definitely not there. so they must went to other side. at that moment another jeep came from the other side of road. Four men were seating in that jeep. "maksud bhai...!!" anwar said. Maksud and his men jumped from the jeep. "adab anwar bhaijaan..." maksud said. "maksud bhai aap toh usi taraaf se aa rahe hain na?! kya wo log udhar dikhe?!" anwar asked. "nahin anwar bhaijaan, ate wakt hum logo ne pure raste ka ek ek kona chan mara. Par wo dono kahin nahin mile.." maksud said. From that narrow dark lane, two pairs of eyes were watching over them and listening to their conversation. "thank god jo gari kharap ho gayi... nahi toh agey ja kar hum maksud aur unke hathon mein par jatein.." antara mumbled from raghu's side. "woo to abhi bhi par sakte hain.." he said keeping his allerted gaze intact towards them. his right hand was encircling antara's feature and antara was holding his collar. "matlab ki yahin kahin hain wo dono... dhundo unhee... ek ek gali, road ka eke k kona chan marro... kisi bhi kimat pein zinda nahin bachne chahiye dono." Anwar ordered his men. Everyone scattered around the area. Only anwar and maksud were standing near their car discussing about the plan. "chal miscall khisakne ka time ho gaya hain... uss purane factory ka rasta dikha." raghu said and dragged her inside the dark alley. After some moment all of them came back to anwar and maksud. "kya huya mile woo?!" maksud asked. "nahi bhaijaan, hum har jagah dhunde par who nahi mile..." one of them said. "damn it!!" anwar stroke the bonnet of jeep. "anwar bhaijaan, there is a closed factory just some distance away from them. that's a very good place for hideout." Maksud said. "you are right maksud. Even I know about that old factory, come one lets go." Anwar said. All of them take out there arms and ammunitions from their jeep and headed inside the dark lane.
The door of the factory slowly got open a little bit. Raghu's hunter eyes peeped through that little place. He moved his gaze thoroughly all the way. There was dead silence and pitch darkness spread all over. The road seemed clear. Raghu slowly closed the door and moved inside. In a room antara was waiting for him. She was standing there supporting the wall and crossing her hands to her chest. she was thinking deeply that why siddiqui had send his men behind her? did he came to know about her real identity?! But how?!! Her face was having a deep frown. She heard a footstep and opened her eyes. Raghu came inside the room. "miscall maidan saaf hain.. lagta hain woo log satak liye... chal mauke pe chauka maar ke humlog bhi boundery par kar lete hain.." raghu said. "wo log fir wapas aa gaye toh?!" antara asked in worried voice. "lagta toh hain nahi ayengey, kya karein.. itna risk to lena parega..." he said. They moved towards the exit when suddenly they heard so many footsteps and a huge sound of opening the door. Both of their heart thudded loudly. raghu quickly pushed antara behind the wall to hide themselves. From their hiding place they could clearly visualize the main door of factory at ground floor. They saw three to four men entering inside the factory with rifles and revolvers in their hands. Antara's eyes got widened in fear. "S**a kutte ke tarah piche pare huye hain... jidhar bhi jata hain.. soong soong kea a jate hain..." raghu said in irritating voice. they recognized anwar even in that small light. "idhar piche se ek raasta hain bahar jane ka.." antara said slowly. "pahele kyun naii batayi?!! Chal jaldi.." he said and they rushed towards the back side of basti but they couldn't even reach at the back door and saw maksood was coming from that way with his six men. Before they could found them they again moved towards the small room at side. maksud ordered his two men to cover the door at back side so that if two of them tried to escape they could stop them. "abey ye girgit ne to dono raste bandh kar rajhe hain... ye miscall koi aur rasta nahin hain kya?!!" raghu asked. "nahin aur to nahin hain...bas yahin do raste hain..." antara said worried voice. "matlab unn logon se panga lena hi parega... chal!!" raghu said. "ek min ruko.." antara suddenly let out her mobile and started to texting someone. "yaar abb iss time tujhe msg kare ki pari hain.. chor issey aur chal abb..." raghu said in a slightly irritated voice. "haan chalo..." antara said. Both of them came outside of the room with alerted eyes. Keeping their gaze everywhere, they slowly moved towards the back door. Anwar's men were scattered everywhere in the factory. It was quite difficult to avoid them. hiding in the dark corners they saved themselves from their eyes. At last when they were about to come out from the room they saw one man coming from other side and raghu quickly moved at the side of door along with antara. Babban came inside the room pointing his gun at the front. But before he could understand two strong hand came out of dark and caught around his neck so tightly. Before he could even scream he felt a huge cracking sound and an unbearable pain of breaking bones in his neck. His eyes got out from his eyehole and his mouth got opened in need of air. As he loosed his sense, raghu left babban's neck and he banged on the floor. raghu took the gun from his hand and looked at the bullets. It was totally filled. "chalo ek kaam ki cheez to hath ayi..." raghu said with a small laugh looking towards the gun in his hand. On the other hand antara leaned on the floor and looked at the other gun which was still hanging from his belt. It seemed like he kept extra gun for emergency. Antara took out the gun from his belt and was about to check that thoroughly and at that moment raghu noticed her. "areyu yeri kya kar rahi hain tu?!" raghu quickly took the gun from her hand. "ye sab tere bas ki baat nahi hain.. anari hathon se ye cheez chalayi naii ja sakti.." he said keeping that other gun in his belt. "par raghu..." antara tried to say something but raghu interrupted her. "batein bandh kar aur chal yaar.. aise hi charon taraf fail gaye hain woo..." raghu said. So without saying further, antara woke up and both of them headed towards the main door.
"arey gaye kaha wo log?! Hawa mein gayab ho gaye kya?!" one of the men from anwar's said to his other two friends who were in the room. "arey bhaijaan.. yahin kahin hain dono... bahut chalak hain.. hum dono ko chakma dete ja rahe hain..." another man said. The third suddenly saw the movement in the shadow. "udhar hain dono..." he said and shoot towards the moving fig in shadow. Raghu and antara was heading towards the door at the end of the hall hiding themselves in shadow at that moment the bullet came and hit the wall just some mere inch away from antara's feature. Antara looked at the scattered cement with wide eyes while raghu dragged her behind in a tight hold. Those three had detected them. another bullet came and hit the floor just near there feet. Raghu dragged a stunned antara behind a pillar and make her sat on the floor. he also sat beside her keeping his eyes on those three. When they were coming towards them raghu stretched his hand and shoot towards the man who was nearby. In a perfect aim the bullet hitted the joint of his right arm and his gun fell from his hand. He screamed in pain and banged on the floor holding his wounded hand from where the blood was spreading vigorously. "S**a, mere se panga lega... arey tere jaise sau ko akale samhalta aa raha hoon..." raghu said keeping his eyes on them. the other two men took their position behind the door and sand bags. They started to fire on the side of pillow. Raghu also fired on them in answer. After hearing the sound of bullets others men were also coming inside the room and taking their position. Slowly they were trying to surround the pillar so that their two preys blocking their way to escape. The gun shot was going on. Antara was seating on raghu's side with wide eyes. The sound of gunshot and the smell of sulfur was spreading in the air. Just like the day of her father's death. Suddenly her jaw became hard. She looked at her side. raghu was still busy to resist those men. Antara looked around and suddenly she saw at the other side and saw a man was crawling silently in the darkness and trying to reach near them. antara's eyes widened in anticipation. so as they couldn't come from that side as raghu was resisting them they decided to come from back! Raghu was busy with them so he couldn't c them. even the man didn't c that antara had noticed him. he woke up in his feet and pointed his rifle towards them. antara looked at the other gun which was hanging to raghu's belt. Without thinking a moment she let out that gun in lightening speed and shot towards that man who was aiming with rifle. Raghu was all startled as the sound of boom came from her side. he twitched his head and he got a huge shock when he saw antara aiming that gun on the other side and a man was falling on the ground holding his rifle. Antara looked back to him. but before raghu could say anything she gasped looking towards the door and saw maksud entering inside the room and aiming their gun towards them. antara quickly leaned forward and aimed to him. Maksud fell on the floor without making a soun. The bullet had directly gone inside his throat and spot dead. At first raghu thought she shot the gun in excitement but the next shot proved clealy that antara was not at all unpracticed with those guns. The way she hold that thing and her concentrated eyes and how easily she aimed perfectly from that long distance. She breathed heavily closing her eyes and held her gun tightly. Raghu kept staring at her with amused eyes. the last thing he expected to know her how to handle guns. The opponents were also dumb stuck by maksood's sudden death. Antara looked at raghu. her jaw was hard and there was a clear determination in her eyes. "tum udhar dekhon.. is taraf main cover karti hoon..." she said. "miscall tere ko ye sab kab se ata hain re?!!" he asked in amusement. "Eleven years kit hi tab se sikhti araahi hoon, vishal uncle ne sikhaya tha..." she said shortly loading the gun in her hand and fixed her eyes to that side from where that men appeared just a moment ago. Even in that worst situation raghu couldn't afford to smirk. well she is antara kaul, the surprise packet after all. "maksud!!" anwar screamed and entered inside the room. His whole corpse burned and he looked towards others. "dekh kya rahe hoo.. bhun dalo unn dono ko... aisi mat maro ki maut bhi kanp uthe... aaj inki laas hi niklegi yahan se.." he screamed and took the position. Again the gun shot started. Raghu and antara both understood that they couldn't resist them for long. They were so many and their bullets were also decreasing and they were slowly coming towards them. antara was just praying to god so that her plan worked. "ee miscall.. goli jyada nahin hain.. nikalna parega idhar se..." raghu said. "par kaise hum log to charon taraf se ghire huye hain!!" antara said. Udhar samne khirki dikh rahi hain.. udhar se chalan maar ke pass wle kamre mein jane ka.. udhar ke darwaje se nikal jayengey... Thora risk hain kar payegi na..." he asked. antara sensed that there were only three bullets in her gun. "okk!!..." she nooded. They jumped and quickly moved towards the window running like hell. But anwar and his men came there and bloked there way. Raghu quickly came in antara's front guarding her. His fiery gaze made anwar shiver even if he was holding a gun. They quickly snached raghu and antara's gun from them and caught them tightly. "bahut khel liya tune ab sidhe upar jahanoom mein entyry maar ne ka time hain... larki ko ssamne la pahele... ussi ka toh superi di hain aman bhaijaan ne... fir iss larke ko bhi uske piche bhej dengey..." anwar said. "naii usey hath mat lagana..." raghu growled at side and started to struggle on the grip of four men who holding them. Even they were feeling difficult to hold a single man together. "raghu shant raho..." antara said in a firm voice. a small smile was also playing in her lips. "ye humara kuch nahi bigar sakte..." she said looking straightly towards anwar. "ohh mautarma.. bahut khel dikha diya aap ne humein.. mar ne wali hain ab toh kam se kam hosh mein aao..." anwar said angrily and pointed his gun directly to antara's head. Antara didn't scared a bit. Even raghu was also bit startled. But before anwar could push the trigger another large boom came from the door and anwar sat on the floor with scream. The bullet had directly hit his hand which was holding gun. All the terrorists looked around and saw the whole room was surrounded by military forces and all of them were pointing there gun to them. antara all ready saw them before sso she was calm. Anwar looked at them with wide eyes and others had already surrendered themselves dropping their gun. Antara rushed towards raghu. "tum thik ho..." she asked in worried voice. "haan apun jhakass hain.. par ye..." he looked confusingly towards the military forces. "wo yaad hain kuch der pahele main eek msg kiya tha... wo military head quarter ka no pe maine msg kiya tha.. vishal uncle ne diya tha..." she said. Raghu remembered. The forces moved inside the room for further progress.
ps: sorry guyzz for this long depressing monotonous chapter.. i know... everyone is going to throw chappals on me for this... i don't know what a mess i have created... so i's as ususl waiting for ur chappals..
