The wedding was in a week. Most of the planning was done, thanks to Rukhsana and Antara's family, but everyone was stressed. They wanted this wedding to be perfect. Antara had always been the type of girl that wanted an extravagant wedding, but now she didn't really care as long as she was married to Raghu at the end of the day.

"ANTARA!" Rukhsana screeched, running into her room. Antara jumped about a mile into the air.

"What?" she asked.

"Florist ka number kya hai, we need more flowers." she burst. Her eyes were looking around frantically. She was so stressed, but she was loving every minute of it. She was so excited that Antara was going to be her bhabhi!

"Rukku, meine kaal tumhe number text kiya tha na?" Antara asked tentatively. Rukhsana froze, pulling out her cell phone and scrolling through her texts. After a few minutes, she breathed a sigh of relief.

"Yes. Thanks Antara!" And with that, she ran back out of the door, slamming it behind her. She has been doing that for days. She would run in looking for something, find it, and run out. All at breakneck speed.

Antara was super excited to get married. She had the biggest smile on her face for the past 10 months. She hated that they had to wait that long but the pandit said it was the only auspicious time. During this time Antara and Raghu had both finished college. Raghu was helping his dad in his business and loved it. Antara was now a writer for a fashion magazine. She loved it, she did all her work at home and only had to go into the office once or twice a week.

Life was amazing. Her family was happy, she was happy and Raghu was happy. He was the best fiance that any girl could ask for. He was caring and attentive as he always had been. However, Antara was surprised to see his romantic and possessive side.

He always introduced as her "My Antara", especially to any guys. Antara loved it when he was all possessive, because the man was sexy when he was pissed. Antara thought.

"Antara." Raghu's voice was coming from behind the door. He must have been knocking, but Antara was so zoned out she couldn't even hear him.

"Come in!" she called. He made his way into the bedroom, where Antara was currently laying on her bed, staring up at the ceiling.

"Hello wifey," Raghu said as he came into the room. He kissed her gently, settling onto the bed next to her. She snuggled into his chest and he wrapped his arms around her waist. "What are you doing?"

"Hiding from everyone," she answered, grinning into his chest. "Pichle 5 ghanto sai sab muche pooch rahe hai 'Antara, tumhe red flowers chahiye ya pink?, Antara, tumhe cream color zyaada acha lagta hai ya eggshell? 'I swear if I have to pick one more time between cream and eggshell I'm going to scream. They're the same color!" Raghu chuckled at Antara's cuteness.

"Well you don't seem so angry," he noted. "Tum kya soch rahi thi? Mein 5 minute se knock kar raha tha. "

"Five minutes?" she asked skeptically.

"Okay, so more like thirty seconds, but subject change maat karo," he said, his voice jokingly stern

"I was thinking ki pichle dus mahino mein bahut kuch ho gaya, we graduated, Machmach ki shaadi ho gayi, Rajveer finally asked Rukhsana out, Satya and Simmi which is still a little weird. And I am going to be Mrs. Antara Naik in a few days" She admitted truthfully.

"Mrs. Naik ," Raghu repeated. Antara could hear the smile in his voice. "I like the sound of that wifey."

"So do I," she replied, moving her head up to kiss his cheek. But just as she was about to kiss him, there was a knock on her door. A pregnant Ankita walked in, she was 7 months along, with a little boy.

"Antu, Raghu shaadi tak wait karlo, tum dono niche chalo. Sab tum dono ka wait kar rahe hai." She said walking over to the bed. They both got up and followed her downstairs.

More discussions about the wedding ensued. The haldi ceremony was tomorrow followed by all the others. Antara and Raghu's families were very excited about the wedding. The only bad thing about it was that Antara and Raghu hardly got any alone time.

During the next few days they were both surrounded by their families. Everyone wanted to talk to the bride and groom. However, Raghu would quietly kidnap Antara and they would sneak away for a while to talk and just be together.

Raghu would even sneak into her room at night and hold her while they slept. Like he did the night before the wedding.

"WAKE UP GUYS! YOU'RE GETTING MARRIED TODAY!" Rukhsana's voice was like nails on a chalkboard, completely impossible to ignore and annoying. "TIME FOR THE BRIDE TO GET READY!!" She started laughing, a mock evil laugh standing outside Antara's door.

"Save me," Antara whispered to Raghu, clinging to him. He chuckled, kissing her chastely.

"There's nothing I can do," he said. Antara could hear Rukhsana stomping down the hall, her heels clicking.

"Come on Antara!" she called, pounding on the bedroom door.

"I'm coming," she grumbled curling into Raghu's side.

"Fine. Mein andhar aa rahi hoon." Rukhsana said pushing the door open. "RAGHU! You aren't supposed to be here. Dadi ka strict order hai ki tum shaadi tak ek dusre ko nahi dekh sakte. Get out! Agar kisi nai tumhe dekh liya toh" She threatened.

"Shut up shorty. Mein jaa raha hoon." Raghu said getting up.

"I love you!" He whispered to Antara before leaving.

"I love you too!" Antara mumbled still half asleep. She couldn't believe she would be getting married to him today.

"Come on Antara. We have to start now if you want to be ready on time," she said firmly.

"Mujhe sohne dai!" Antara complained.

"It's not my fault if you stayed up late with Raghu. Pehle sochna tha na, hamesha uske saath chipki rehti hai." She teased.

Rukhsana dragged Antara to her DJ's room where her whole family was assembled including Dadi and Raghu's mom who Antara didn't know too well. But she was still very nice to her and accepted her.

"Antara tera shaadi ka joda kitna pretty hai." Ankita squealed holding up a beautiful red lengha.

Antara just smiled and admired the beautiful handwork. Everyone helped Antara get ready. Someone was doing her hair, her make-up and her nails, however they all complained because Antara was literally shaking from excitement.

"Done," Rukhsana announced, arranging her hair. It was almost time for the wedding. "You look amazing Antara. Absolutely perfect."

"Can I see myself now?" she asked.

"One sec," she exclaimed. She turned Antara around so she was looking at everyone else and the mirror. Everyone gasped. Antara opened her eyes and gasped when she saw herself. She did look amazing.

Her lengha fit her perectly, it wasn't too heavy but perfect. Her hair was in a bun, a few loose curls framing her face. Her make-up was flawless, her skin almost glowed. She felt beautiful.

Everyone else looked amazing too, Rukhsana in her orange sari, Ankita in her purple sari, and Simmi in her pink lengha. Everyone was all decked out in bright colours and a lot of jewelery.

"I love how the baarat is coming from next door and they are still late." Rukhsana said rolling her eyes.

"THEY ARE HERE," yelled Simmi running into the room.

Antara's mom and dadi came running into the room behind her.

"Antara meri beti kitni badi ho gayi hai." Antara's mom cried.

"Maa, Raghu saath wale ghar mein rehta hai. Aur mein waise bhi waha hi zyaada rehti thi." Antara laughed.

"Chup kar." Her mom said laughing. "Har maa ko aise kehna padta hai." She teased.

"I love you guys." Antara said getting teary-eyed.

They all escorted the bride downstairs to the mandap where Raghu was eagerly waiting.

At first, all Antara could see were the people in the crowd. Her family, Raghu's family, their high school friends and college friends. Everyone she cared about was beaming up at her, some crying, some just smiling. But when she looked up at Raghu, everyone else faded away.

His smile was elated and as crooked as ever. He kept his eyes glued to hers, taking in every inch of her, and Antara felt a huge grin spread across her face. Raghu's eyes were sparkling and he was using all of his energy not to run to Antara. Honestly, Antara was doing the same thing. She wanted to hurry along, but knowing her, she would trip. So instead, she just kept her eyes locked with Raghu's.

Raghu was in awe, he had never seen a prettier bride than Antara and she was his bride. He was getting married to the love of his life and he was the happiest man alive. He grinned as Antara took a seat beside him smiling. The pandit started the ceremony.

"You look absolutely stunning," Raghu murmured.

"So do you," she replied. And he did, with his classic cream sherwani. Raghu quietly held Antara's hand under her chuni bringing a smile onto Antara's face.

The ceremony was long and Raghu and Antara couldn't exactly focus. They were too caught up in the fact that they were getting married. That is why Rajveer had to poke both of them when the pandit asked them to get up for the saat phere.

The priest declared them husband and wife. Raghu instantly wrapped his arms around Antara and smiled at her. The whole family surrounded them wishing them a happy married life. The vidai ceremony was funny, everyone was crying and the guys were laughing because Antara was only going next door. Antara who had made fun of them for crying earlier was also crying. It was a sad affair. Even though she was just going next door Antara was different now.

After all the crying and the goodbyes and Dadi's insanely long ceremonies Raghu and Antara were led to Raghu's room which was totally decorated. Raghu closed the door behind him and walked up to Antara wrapping his arms around her waist, her back to his chest.

"It took all the strength I had not to jump you when you came down the stairs," he whispered, his voice alluring. Antara giggled.

"Well, I'm now officially Mrs. Antara Naik" she squealed.

"I love that," Raghu said, "Mrs. Antara Raghu Naik, my wifey." He said kissing her neck.

"Raghu", Antara said as Raghu picked her up and took her to bed.

"Hmmm?"

"I love you." She whispered.

"And I love you, more than anything in this world.
