Rantara woke up to the sound of knock on the door. "Antara. "Your friends are here . "Will you come down or inneh upar bheju? Noor apas loud voice echoed in the hallway . Raghu covered his ears with his hands. Antara sat up covering herself. "Ji..apa may abhi aayee. Looking at raghu covering his ears..she smiled. "Raghu..get up it's 10 am." Kiya yaar may theek se soh bhi nai sakta." Ghar par machmach ruksana aur ethan..aur yaha tera apa. "Chal hum bhaag chalte hai..sab se door..just me and you. " me you and hamare bacche! Antara said excitedly. Raghu shot his eyes open and gulped at the name of bacche. Antara noticed his changing expressions. She slide in beside him and rested her head on his chest. "What's wrong raghu? "Whenever I talk about our kids..you go on silent mode..akhir baat kiya hai? Raghu bit his lower lips. "Nothing's wrong..mujhe bhi bacche chahi hai antara lekin abhi nai..I think we should wait. Raghu said. "Wait for what raghu?" Mujhse aur intazaar nai hota..mujhe baccha chahi hai! "And why should we wait raghu..it's been more than two years of our marriage. .aur kitna intazaar karungi may? Her tears rolled down and fell on raghu's chest. This is what he cannot see. Her tears. Without saying anything she grabbed her towel ..wrapping around her she left towards the washroom. "Antara. .raghu called behind her but she was gone. "Shaadi kar ke fas gaya yaar! As soon as the door closed behind her.. raghu jumped out of bed wrapping the sheet around him. His eyes widened when he saw her pills in the garbage bin! He picked it up just to make sure. He was right! It was her birth control pills! Raghu scratched his head and took a deep breath in and out. "Ab kiya hoga..may toh fas gaya yaar! After a little while later. .raghu came downstairs. Antara still looked sad. It was lunch time. .ladies set the table. Everyone enjoyed the meal. Noor apa said antara's friends left and if they have time they'll drop in later. Raghu who was sitting beside her noticed everything. Eshaan and dr kaul excused themselves and left to watch cricket match on TV. Mom went in the kitchen to pour more tea when apa said to antara. "Kahi koi khush khabri toh nai?" Are you pregnant? Raghu choked on his food! Apa stood there with raised eyebrows waiting for her answer. Antara kept her gaze lowered as her tears started to form. Excusing herself she ran towards her room! Raghu tried to stop her"antara ruko..meri baat suno please! He went after her while apa stood there with confused face." Mayne kuch galat kah diya kiya? In the room antara locked herself in the washroom and cried her heart out. Raghu knocked on the door." Antara. .darwaza kholo please! "Raghu..may theek hu..I just need some time alone please. "Antara I know you are not fine..please open up! Antara quickly washed her face and opened the door. Raghu froze at her devastated state! He grabbed her hand and brought her out in the room. He cupped her face. "Ye kiya halat bana liya tumne?" Why are you punishing yourself? She looked into his eyes." Tumeh patah hai raghu..you know everything fir bhi tum puch rahe ho? He doesn't know what to say to her. His heart was being pierced mercilessly when that night the doctors told him that antara cant conceive for one year and if she does conceive before that time frame she will lose her baby and her life will be in danger as well. Raghu cant risk her life. She was his everything. .his life. He cant take chances when it comes to antara. He can wait to have kids but how will he explain it to antara. Raghu came downstairs ..grabbed a plate and filled it with whatever he could find. Coming to the room he found antara lost in deep thought. Sitting beside her on the bed he fed her." Chal muh khol aur fatafat ye sab khatam kar. "Raghu mujhe bhook nai hai please. "Hungry or not hungry you have to finish this. Fighting with him was useless. So she opened her mouth as raghu fed her. "You really are spoiled ha? A faint smile appeared on her lips. "You spoiled me raghu. They both smiled looking at each other. Antara agreed and in half an hour they were on the road to town. Antara did some shopping and later took him to her old school. Raghu was happy seeing her happy. Her friends came to meet them at the appointed place. Her friends were drooling over raghu. "Antara. .he's so hot yaar..must say you are one lucky girl ha? One of her friends said. Raghu was pulled by one of her friend to a ice cream parlour. "Chal jiju hum ice cream khaatey hai. Raghu tried to free his hand from her grip." No it's ok I don't like ice cream. "But I like it. Raghu freed his hand from her grasp and took off from there! "Arey jiju..I'm not done with you yet!" She came stomping after him. Raghu grabbed antara's hand and headed towards their car. Getting in the car and locking the doors he said."accha toh I'm rude..that baby elephant was touching me everywhere aur you are saying I'm rude. Antara giggled. Raghu gave her a stern look and antara quickly looked away. Within seconds they both burst out laughing! ! Coming home they spent some more time with family and soon it was time for them to leave. Everyone had tears in their eyes. Eshaan promised to visit them on his school holidays. Taking blessings and bidding goodbyes. .they left. They enjoyed their train ride to Mumbai. Deep down his heart raghu was worried and tensed. Antara threw all her pills away. Raghu will have to stay away from getting intimate with her. Kayse kar paayega raghu ye sab? Kiya kahega jab antara will ask questions? She will definitely ask why he's not making love to her. Thinking and trying hard to figure out how to deal and handle this situation. .they reached home. Putting her down on the bed he changed and slide in beside her. He gently lifted her head and rested it on his chest. Antara slide her arm around his toned midsection and slept. Kissing the top of her head he switched off the night light and closed his tired eyelids. Next morning raghu left for office. Workers were removing the decorations. House was quite without ethan. Antara was crying inside thinking about Ethan. Time was passing by. Raghu was coming late from office when antara was already sleeping. On weekends he goes to the bar to drink in order to get relief from the pain of staying away from antara. He knows one unprotected sex with her can get her pregnant. And if he uses protection she will bombard him with questions. So it's better to avoid her for now. Raghu wasn't liking what he was doing but he didnt have a choice. He cant jeopardize antara's life. Antara was monitoring his behavior for a long time now. She know's now that he's been avoiding her. Coming home when she's sleeping and drinking in the weekends. Coming home drunk and tired he goes to bed. Tonight antara was up and waited for him to come home. It was 12:30 when raghu finally came home. He was shocked to see antara up. "Tum soi nai abhi tak? "Dont worry raghu I wont bother you. "May bas ye kahena chati thi ki mere kaaran tumeh pareshaan hone ki zarurat nai hai. "Just to avoid me you are coming home late. "I promise you raghu ..I wont come near you." Bass tum ghar jald aayaa karo..I cant see you suffering because of me. "Mujhe patah hai tumeh baccha nai chahi hai..issiliye you are ignoring me. "Its ok raghu I wont force you for a child but please tum mere saamne raho." Patah hai tumeh meri ankhe taras jaati hai tumeh dekhne ke liye. Her tears started to fall. He felt like someone just stabbed him to death! His eyes moistened as well. He wanted to take her in his embrace and tell her everything will be alright. His heart was crying with her. She got up from the bed and stood in front of him."patah hai tumeh..jab raat ko mujhe bura sapna aatha hai toh tum mere paas nai hotey. "Mujhe andherey se dar lagta hai raghu lekin tum mere paas nai hotey. "Aysa kiya hogaya hamare beech joh tum mujhse door chalegay?" Meri galti kiya hai raghu? She sobbed standing in front of him. Both were shedding tears facing each other. Raghu was frozen and gone numb." I'm sorry! She said . Wiping her tears off she slide under the covers and wept inside. Raghu fell on the recliner with a thud and sobbed. "What am I doing? He asked himself. He spent the night starring at the ceiling. He got up from the chair and glanced at his life who was sleeping peacefully. He covered her properly and planted a gentle kiss on her forehead. "I love you antara. .may tum se bahut pyaar karta hu..jaan ho tum meri..meri zindagi..mera sabkuch! He murmured. He freshened up..got ready and left. Antara was very distracted today. She lost interest in everything. Feeling low and depressed. .she grabbed her bag and headed out. Driver took her wherever she wanted to go. After dropping her ..driver came home. Day went by. Raghu came home early as antara's words pierced him last night. Antara wasn't in the bedroom so he asked maa." Patah nai beta..aaj kal kuch khoi khoi se rahti hai antara. "Shayad driver ko patah hoga. Raghu tried her phone but it was switched off. The driver gave information about her whereabouts. Raghu drove in that direction. Raghu stopped by a building. His eyes widened when he saw the name on the building. ANAATH ASHRAM. What is antara doing here? Talking to the watchmen he ran inside. He was stunned and speechless when he saw his antara feeding the toddlers with other caregivers there . There were so many orphaned kids there. Antara looked happy with them. She had a big grin on her face. Its been months since raghu saw her smiling. Automatically a grin appeared on raghu's face. "Aap kaun? One of ladies asked raghu. Antara lifted her gaze and met with his dark orbs. Raghu opened his mouth to say something when antara spoke." Raghu ..aaj may ghar nai aanewaali." I'm spending the night with these little kids. "Inn baccho ko meri zarurat hai aur mujhe innki. Raghu stood there motionless.
