The Morning sun rose and the cottage house came into view.The whole cottage was made up of taekwood.It was beautiful and unique in its own way.It had Two floors which consisted of good number of spacious rooms.Each room had a fireplace of its own.It had an open kitchen on ground floor with a beautifully decorated Living room.The best place in the cottage house was the Attic.

Here the Attic wasn't being the storage house but decorated in a different style.The floor was fully covered with carpet.It too had a bathroom,a closet and a fireplace of its own.Both the ends of Attic which are normally open were totally closed with Glass along with beautiful hanging red curtains.It had a cosy bed on one corner and there was a couch along with table near the fireplace.

Outside the cottage,there was a small lawn which had different types of wild flowers.The cottage was somewhat isolated and covered with large pine trees...It was the reason that Machmach booked this cottage house so that no one could suspect them or find them.. Raghu had slept again on same couch as the previous night while thinking about call he got from his messenger...his plan...and his next move to keep Antara safe.After getting Antara from the clinic, Raghu had placed her in one of the first floor rooms which had a balcony too.

Antara was still under the effect of sedatives and looked too weak..She was lying on her back and her body was covered with quilt.Cold breeze coming from the window was making Her tresses to play naughtly with her pink cheeks..Her lips had turned pink from white and were parted...She frowned sometimes during her deep sleep making Rukhsana more restless who was sitting besides her and caressing her forehead.

'Uske toh purane gaav bhi abi tak nahi bhare aur ab yeh nayi musibat..' Rukhsana said while sobbing.Raghu's heart wrenched on knowing Antara's past.Finally he was able to relate the things to her outburst at the river side.His soul ached on thinking about pain she was going through as present situation had made things worse in her life rather than improving.He didn't understand what kind of emotions were coursing thru him as everything was new and very intense for him.The only thing he understood was that he had to protect her at any cost...even at the cost of his own life...!!! Machmach told Rukhsana and make up an excuse till things are sorted out and Antara is safe again.Rukhsana nodded in agreement and hit the dial button on her phone.She made an excuse and told her family that the bus got stranded on the highway due to a landslide which were common in that area.When her parents started panicking,she told them about their stay in Jispa cottage house without giving much info regarding the company they were in.She told her parents to inform Antara's mother's regarding their well being.After speaking for sometime,she finally disconnected the call and let her breath out which she was holding on for quiet sometime.

In such a tense atmosphere Machmach's stomach growled in hunger and spoke while trailing hands on his tummy...'..kaal raat apun sab ne kuch nahi khaya hai... mein bahar ja kar kuch intezaam karke aata hu..' From behind Avastika came and spoke...'Machmach bhai aapko kahi jane ki zarurat nahi hai...woh Kitchen mein sara samaan padha hai...mein thodi hi dair mein sab ke liye kuch bana deti hu' Rukhsana agreed to and went inside the kitchen to prepare breakfast for everyone.Machmach went to get freshen up...left from the living room,leaving Raghu behind. Raghu had to complete some tasks before executing his new plan so even he went upstairs to get freshened up.On the way to his room, he tried killing his urge to see her one more time but couldn't win when he saw her room door half opened.He walked towards her room and peeped inside...She was still lying on the bed.

He opened the door and walked towards her very slowly.His heart skipped many beats while looking at her face.He went near her and caressed her top to bottom with his eyes..Her sedation was weaning off slowly and the crimson color had returned to her cheeks.He looked at her very lovingly and a weak smile appeared on his lips.She looked weak and stressed out.There were dark pits of under eye circles...but still She looked breathtakingly beautiful..He sat on edge of the bed and removed some of her quilt in search of bandaged wrist.When he found it,he checked for any soakage or fresh bleeding but there was none.While covering her back with the quilt,his eyes fell on her dress.After getting her back from the clinic,Rukhsana and Avastika gently cleaned her and changed her dress too.Blue color looked lovely on her...He interwined his fingers with hers and softly squeezed her hand. There was a light knock on the door, Raghu got startled and turned..It was the village doctor who had arrived for a check up.Raghu got up from the bed and walked towards the doctor.Doctor wished him and went near Antara to check her up.When Raghu was about to leave the room,the doctor called from behind and said ...'aap rukaiye...sayad aapki jarurat padh sakti hai'..Machmach who had accompanied the doctor towards Antara's room gestured Raghu to stay back and closed the door while leaving from there..Raghu stood near a corner and watched the doctor as she examined Antara.

Doctor opened her wrist bandage to check her wound.The wound was deep and still raw which required good amount of time to heal.The doctor pressed on the edges of the wound to check for any fresh bleed, it was then Antara woke up in drowsy state and crying out in pain.Raghu squeezed his eyes on hearing her painful cries and immediately moved to her side. Tears welled up in Antara's eyes and she started hyperventilating.A sign of worry crossed on Doctor's face and she left Antara wrist unbandaged.She placed her Stethoscope on Antara's chest to hear her breath sounds.She thought that Antara had started hyperventilating suddenly due to acclimatization...as it is common in those areas due to less amount of Oxygen in the high altitude.As the doctor checked Antara's front chest,she wanted to check her back lung lung fields too.So the Doctor asked Raghu's help in making Antara sit ,so that she could check her back.Raghu understood everything and sat on the edge of the bed and pulled Antara towards him,who lying on her back.Antara bumped into his chest and he took all her upper body weight on him.He placed her head on his shoulder and his arms encircled around her waist.She was still sobbing and hyperventilating.It was getting unbearable for him to see her like that.

She raised her arm feebly to clutch his shirt,when her hand slid beneath his shirt as his first two buttons were open and clutched his vest.Sudden electric waves jolted him with her soft touch.

He looked down and saw her hand clutching him so tenderly...while her face looked so innocent like a baby.He kept staring at her lovingly till doctor broke his trance.Doctor told him that Antara was hyperventilating because of pain and sedative effect,which would wean off with time...and in case of acclimatization,mouth to mouth breathing is the first aid till oxygen supply is provided. After giving him other instructions,doctor came near her wounded wrist and started bandaging it.Antara moaned in pain and spoke feebly 'Bh...Bahut dard ho raha hai hath mein...pls...mat chedo usse ' while clutching his vest more tightly.She kept on repeating the same line.

Raghu tightened his grip around her while she kept sobbing within his arms.He spoke softly to her 'ssshhh...koi nahi chedega usse bas pahle us zakham par patti ho jane de'.On hearing his assured voice ,her wet eyes started drooping and soon she dozed off in his arms.Doctor finished bandaging her wrist by then and left the room.Antara was sleeping calmly now...unknowingly his stubble brushed her cheek ,a chill ran down his spine and he looked towards her.Both their lips were inches apart from each other and he could feel her hot breaths coming thru her parted lips.He didn't understand what was happening to him.All he wanted was to Kiss her.He didn't know,how to control his intense desire but he had to as he couldn't dare to shatter her will.He couldn't hurt her in anyway.With that he closed his eyes for some seconds and leaned downwards along with her.He made her lie softly on the bed and opened his eyes.Slowly he removed her hand from his vest and placed it sideways.She frowned a bit in her sleep and he chuckled.He started caressing her cheek and eased her frown.He whispered to her 'Abhi ek hi din hua hai tujhse mile hue...kyun tu apni si lagti hai?'...while raising her bandaged wrist he spoke again..'saans ruk gayi thi meri jab tu nahi mil rahi thi kal raat ko...dobara aisi harkat karne ki koshish bhi mat karna...aur na hi mein tujhe ab apni jaan lene duga...iss jaan par ab mera bhi haq hai...kyuki teri rago mein ab apun ka bhi khoon daudh raha hai'...He said everything with full authority and leaned down...and kissed her bandaged wrist.. She wheezed a bit...Raghu gently place he arm on her tummy and covered her whole body with a quilt.

After sometime he closed the door and came downstairs.He was walking towards the main door when Rukhsana called out from kitchen 'Raghu...nashta toh karlo'...Raghu replied in return 'Nahi..mujhe bhukh nahi hai' with that he left the cottage house.. Raghu got busy in constructing tents around the house...so that previous nite incident wont be repeated again..

Whole day passed in making the arrangements and securing the place.All his men were supposed to stay in those tents and do the alternate patrolling during nite time. In the evening doctor had visited Antara again and had injected some more sedatives inside her body to ease her pain.During Nightime Raghu returned to the cottage and peeped into her room...he saw her sleeping peacefully and he went to Attic to take bath as he was tired due to long day work.He took bath and wore fresh jeans and shirt...he picked up the gun lying on the bed and tucked it in his jeans..He went downstairs and checked the whole house...and then went outside to check on his men and security. All the men were alert including Machmach,chotu and pakiya...keen on protecting one life...Life of Antara...which unknowingly had become RAGHU'S LIFE...!!!

antara has become raghu's life... unknowingly... and he can do anything to protect her life..

the words raghu told antara while she was sleeping... was magical...i loved that part most..
