Finally you showed a glimpse of what you could be , this whole thing gives me a bit of Caesar , Brutus feeling. Sigh, thats expecting too much, isn't it?

There stood Raghu with the whole Basti behind him and Antara by his side,holding gun at Satya. What does this picture show you - For me , it meant changing of the tides, what was once a DM jaap has now become , "All Hail, Raghu" chant. He is the one everyone looks upto,for those 100sof Basti people he was today the savior, the one who took the gun against his God's son. Politically this was momentous.

100+Raghu against Satya = Domesday.

A political maverick like DM saw this equation. She read the whole situation pretty well, hasn't this what she has been doing since forever, using circumstances to further her crown. With one masterstroke she had an unarmed Raghu and the basti people's gratitude. She , though, went against her blood , but ensured that her throne was only hers. She understands that public sentiment was with Raghu , he is their Ram and she is the Kaikeyi to this Ram.

Masterstroke DM, you inadvertently placed the burden of debt back on Raghu , reminded him of her love for him and shone in front of everybody by declaring his marriage to Antara.

Satya - He for all his education or genes is nothing like his mum. He has no brains to understand the power play that just happened and how his mother not only saved his life from Raghu but again swung the balance of power to his side. Idiot. In his obsession of defeating Raghu, he has alienated himself from his mother. He has none but himself to blame , that woman is always thinking about him. Her every action is for his benefit , yet he continues to live in his blinders. If he for a second pays attention and clears his eyes then he would see an illiterate gunda in Raghu who his mother has groomed where he is the Crown Prince , she is warming the throne for.

Mama- he is slimy , shady and conflicted. I don't see anything wrong in his objection towards Raghu. He has lived for a long time here, has seen Raghu's gundagardi and probably remembers all the tortures he did to them including Antara. He might be thankful for his recent help but would any sane fatherly figure agree to this marriage proposition. His niece was born and brought up in a different world and just how can she be happy with a guy who has no regular source of income or a house of his own to call home. He is selfish , yes but i think his concern for Antara comes from a right place. Honestly i would have been surprised if he agreed to it so easily. But we are forgetting one thing he lives in household which is dominated by women. His voice s heard but is never the final decision . So I believe even in the future if he suggests Antara's marriage with say Satya or anyone else , it would not be a forced order rather he would try to manipulate a raged Antara.

Kaka- He is such a slime bomb, I don't think he has any genuine concern for Satya, he is just worried about growing stature of Raghu.

DM - I had chills after a long time , she finally opened her character. Maybe Shilpa has picked up the character now. Today her character which if you all excuse my language, personified- " An evil Biyatch ". Damn here she killed satya as the potential antagonist. Sorry the mothership has spoken. She knew she has a lifetime to appease her son, he would be happy and be with her in the future. But now it was time for her to save her kingdom.

And finally she confessed that she, "She loves Raghu and needs him", powerful words and emphasizes what I have always held. In her own twisted way she loves Raghu, he is like a suicide bomber who would give and take life for her. She has created a weapon in him. She understands that with her stint in jail, it was he who held up her empire and who has been the public image of her power. There is no way she can let go of him. It was because of him that the minions of Basti stood protesting her son.

Need- I feel is because of varied reasons. I see a hidden secret and have an inkling that somewhere she is connected to Raghu beyond the master-servant relation. With that letter in her hand she has the time-bomb which would blow Raghu and his world. She has understood now his priorities are elsewhere and he has changed. Hence she needs this little shake-up to kill two birds with one stone.

Masterstroke DM- But like any arrogant ruler she has erred.Twice. She could have had his loyality alwaysif she had tried forging a bond and not an ehsaan with him. Second - she is underestimating the foolishness of her own son, I think she is not seriously taking his obsession with Antara in account. She is just too giddy about the letter that she has stopped observing , how her son will mess everything. Even if the secret is out, the more close he will go towards Antara , the result would be a protective and possessive Raghu. He would inadvertently give new emotion to a dead Raghu. He would bring these two together and maybe would become her biggest defeat.

Raghu and the driver- Another unnecessary pit DM dug for herself. The driver is the living proof of her lie. Someday the secret would be out that it was she who wanted the demolition. The day when one by one all the layers would be removed and her true face would be out , damn Raghu would be pissed and he would go over the edge. Hell hath no fury like a Raghunath Naik scorned.

Antara's mum- My heart goes out to this woman, she lives with the believe that her husband is alive.She understands love. I don't think she has recovered but when the truth would be out, I feel she might just still live under the illusion or might go berserk . Her situation might just push Antara to do the unthinkable. But in the end I see her playing a pivotal role in making her daughter see the light. She is nothing but goodness , hence she won't hold herself for long but play the cupid here,eventually. Also for a girl like Antara to go back to Raghu , it would be essential that she has her mother's support, a woman who lost her husband at that man's hand. I have a bad feeling about her delusions during a Karwachauth type sequence , the more she will pine for her husband, the more hurt Raghu would be. Damn so messed up.

Destiny always comes bearing lessons of life, Raghu a street smart man placed his trust with two people DM and Aman , both of them would end up destroying his world. That letter would suck his life out. He has just started taking small flight from the cafe of DM and now his feathers would be clipped . How does he go from here? I am excited to see how he reacts and takes it all. Stone, lifeless and soulless. A man walking to his funeral. Damn this is hard. I say the period of his emotional mess would be brutal but eventually it will all make their story even more beautiful and epic

DM is unaware that the girl she is plotting to remove from her life would soon be the true Kal of her life and none but it would be her own blood which would cause his mayhem.

I liked today's episode , it set the story in the right place. Lets see how they will take it from here. Till now , I don't see Antara marrying Satya immediately, she is too angry and too directed towards Raghu. Lets see how they unfold that angle. But one thing is for sure, I feel they are now opening up DM's character and hence Satya slowly will take a backseat before he is completely removed from the occasion.

Ruku is unnecessary and a silly plot trick!
