I have the same problems with the song sequence. It was so not upto the mark. I can't believe the choreography was done by the same person who did the amazing song sequences like Kurbaan Hua and Mahi Mahi in Geet... The editing was sloppy, and it felt so disconnected from the episode. I am so disappointed. Only Antara's portions, and the part that was shown in yesterday's precap was good. 😭

That pressure cooker wala Back ground music made the scene even more funny.🤣 Ayaz was very good there.👏

Antara was literally lootofying Raghu's izzat there.🤣 She was understanding everything but wo kaha pehle bolegi?? Wo pehle Yeda se sunegi. Clever girl haan!!!😉

The way Antara kept assuring him that she won't sleep unless she listens to him was very adorable. Getting the assurance he started running.🤣 Then he stopped and looked at Antara.😆 OH God, he so not wants to leave her tonight. 😳After getting final promise, he rubbed his hair and shoulder like a blushing teenaged boy and jumped on the car.😆

By the way, in precap why that HEY HEY wala BGM again?? It's their confession scene God dammit. Just use mera mahi tu instrumental.😡😡

I had very high expectations on tonight's episode, but sadly, to be very honest, I have so many complaints on the episode tonight.

Let me start on a positive note, and first talk about the things I liked.

Positives:

Raghu was very very cute tonight. His smile, his excitement, his happiness at knowing that he is in love with his Miss Kaul, and that probably she too reciprocates, was so infectious. I couldn't help but smile. His cute antics, his conversation with Bappa, his funny tapori lingo, his monologues in front of the mirror, his funny English! Can this guy get any cuter? I felt like pulling his cheeks.

"In my red red heart, you are coming and going..." 😆LOL! The dialogues were as usual, very good.

My favorite part of the episode was the conversation between Raghu and Antara. It was very well done. The initial awkwardness, the shyness, Raghu's stammer, his being unable to speak his heart out, Antara's anticipation of what he was going to tell... all that was very well executed. Ayaz and Nikita excelled in tonight's episode.

Mixed reaction:

The big revelation of Daya Mai's connection with Aman and her involvement in Dr.Kaul's murder was a high point of the episode and was nicely done, but I feel it was revealed a bit too soon. It could have waited for a couple of days more. Must say, I am hating DM more and more with each episode.

Soon, we are to have the entry of another negative character in the show, namely Satya, and wished at least tonight and tomorrow we would get some peaceful Rantaralicious moments without interruption by DM/Aman. Alas, I guess that would not be the case. In a way, I think even upcoming Satya's entry seems a little rushed.

Another thing that concerns me is that Ruksana seems to like Raghu more than just a friend. I don't know what implication this has in the future story, but I really hope Ruksana remains a very positive character. I don't think any of us can handle anymore negativity in the show. Now, instead of a love triangle, we seem to be in for a quadrilateral, and I don't like it at all!

Negatives:

Now, coming to the part I have most complains with- the song sequence. After the various segments we got over the weekend and yesterday's precap, I had great expectations from it, but I have to say, it was a complete let down. It looked very out of place, and rushed. Even the choreography could have been much better. I expected a lot more from the man behind the famous "Kurbaan Hua" sequence in Geet. The natural flow, or transition between the first scene and the song, and then the next scene, was unfortunately lacking here. It felt like it has been cut and placed in between. I've always thought the editing in Jaan was not up to the mark, but tonight, it was outright sloppy in the song sequence.

Antara's portions and the portion that was shown in yesterday's precap were good, but apart from that, the sequence was disappointing. If it was shown as Raghu's dream sequence, I feel it would have made more sense. This was like, one moment Raghu was having his conversation with Ruksana, and the next moment, he was dancing away with Machmach & Ruksana. Where the hell did Machmach come from? And isn't Machmach supposed to be Raghu's best friend? Couldn't we have had Raghu making a sensible conversation with him regarding his feelings for Antara? If Machmach didn't know why Raghu was so happy, why was he even dancing? It looked so weird and disconnected. There was no smooth transition from and to the scenes before and after the song. It looked very rushed. The editing department of the show needs to buck up, really.

I really really hope tomorrow's episode makes up for all this. And please, can we have at least two happy episodes of proper Rantara moments, before Satya enters? I am not keeping my hopes up, but well, I could at least wish!

For ones he ws nt worried hw Anatara wd react or if she rejects his luv,especialy wen they both r so diff,she been well educated n sophesticated n him been a tapori who din gt a chance to complete his education!! Loved his confidence level!!

Coming to ur mixed reaction... yes I too loved the way DM n Aman part ws presented!! It ws quite a shocker to know that they knew each other n even bigger shocker that DM runs the entire terrorist racket n is involved in Dr.Kaul's death!! Yes I'm too worried abt Ruksana!! Wen Raghu hugged her she said 'muje bhi tumse' n then Raghu went on to talk out of excitement bt its obvious wat she ws gonna say!! V previously had an article wer it ws mentioned Ruksana wd mk Raghu realise his feelings for Anatara bt later wen Anatara gets married to Satya,she wd gt paired up wid Raghu..the first part of the article cm out true n sumwer v gt a hint that she hs feelings for Raghu..Jus worried the latter part of the article wont cm out true!!

Coming to the negative points...Wd nt comment much abt the song..cz i luvd the overall episode,so don wanna gt into the song details!! In the interview Niyaz hd mentioned that they hd very short time to shoot the song,so maybe that cd b the reason it ws nt well directed!! Bt im ok with it!! Coming upto Machmach I din find it weird that he ws dancing along wid Raghu without even knowin y Raghu is so happy cz thats Machmach...he bcms happy wen his Raghu Bhai is happy n bcms sad wen his Raghu Bhai is sad..For Machmach his best friend Raghu means the world to him!! So I din find it weird!! N yes Raghu din hv a sensible convo wid Machmach abt his feelings though Machmach is his best friend cz he ws too excited abt his feelings n immediately wntd to confess his feelings to his Ms.Kaul!! Thats my take!!

Overall luvd the epi n im jus loving this show!! Its so unique n luv the way the story is slowly unfolding!!

Mach Mach being Raghu's best buddy, I would have loved to see Raghu share with Mach Mach his realization of love for Antu. Typical of Raghu to throw a stone towards Antu's balcony to call her out. Thank God for Rukku who advised Raghu to freshen up and change and then propose to Antu. Raghu buttering up Bappa to help him with a line to tell Antu. Raghu's broken English sounds very cute.😆

Desperation to confess their love and the awkwardness while meeting each others eyes was evident. Raghu was at loss of words and couldn't say anything barring the 4 words Main, Tum, Mera and Tera and to top it all he expected Antu to understand his dil ka haal. Raghu ranting to Antu about not going to sleep without listening to what he had to say😆

Yes, both Ayaz and Nikita did a great job with that scene.😊

Daya Mai as expected would not want Raghu to know the truth of the letter else her true face would be revealed. I have no pity for Aman since he is equally responsible for using Raghu as a pawn. Daya Mai has a role to play in Antu's dad's killing and reason is yet to be known.

The two most important women in his life, Daya Mai who is pure evil and uses Raghu for her selfish motives and Antara who is an angel in Raghu's life and changed him for good and accepts him the way he is.



Things that didn't work well for me

Why was Raghu doing a cartwheel when the line Rab Hai Raazi Jo Tu Hai Raazi was being played at the bg? Mach Mach came out of nowhere. Trio dance was badly co-ordinated. Lip sync was bad. The editing needs to improve big time. The scenes looked rushed.

I agree! That cart wheel looked weird. Seriously, the choreography could have been much better, specially with a graceful dancer as Ayaz.
