Well...
I think it is inappropriate to tell other people what they should or should not do.
Reading all comments, it's clear that most people don't mind the half sleeves in a darga and that it's not forbidden (else they would've have stopped them going in the darga!).
But some people like yourself make it a big issue, because you are not allowed / willing to wear half sleeves.
Maybe you should learn that not everybody in the world can do whatever YOU like, hence other people can wear whatever they like and go wherever they want!
That is called freedom of choice as a human being.
And I am not sorry for sounding harsh, because if a person can't respect other people's choice, I don't respect that person at all!

Guys, let's not attack the author of this thread. She's just saying from what she knows or has seen so far, she is led to believe this is generally not allowed. As far as the specifications of dargahs go, idk bc I have never been...but just from general knowledge of various faiths (Jain, Hindu, Catholic, and Judaism), many of those places of worship either explicitly want you to cover at least your shoulders or it is an unspoken custom to do so. Furthermore, I am Jain and even within our faith, different temples have different requirements. For example, most of the time, our women never cover their head when praying but i remember when we went to Ranakpoor, the priest told my mother she had to cover her head bc she was a married woman, while I at the time, was still a young girl. So perhaps the author of this post is simply speaking from general custom as well as her own limited personal experiences. I also find that the dress code in Hindu/Jain temples outside of India are more lenient than their Indian counter-parts. Either way, I think most of us agree that just because sleeveless clothes are SOMETIMES explicitly forbidden, does not mean that they ALWAYS are, even in different temples of the same faith.

there is a dresscode whn one visit places of worship whether temple, synagogue, church etc...some comments r so insensitive and harsh and immature ...I feel like LOL...is tubes and minis allowed in places of worship?my view doesn't hve to agree... the author has a point...but for me its just a tv show...so don't mind...yes there is a freedom of expression but there is a limit in everything ...that's life and wht this world is all abt...I respect wht the author said...
