Raghu Needs to Cool Down

After watching today's episode, I really hope that by the end of the week Raghu's anger subsides. Honestly, I liked the angry young man who was sweet and caring that we saw in previous episodes and not this angry and aggressive Raghu that we saw today. I absolutely hate it when they show the hero abusing the heroine...it's so distasteful. I thought this show was going to be different where the guy might say some bitter words to the girl, but he wouldn't dare to harm her physically. Atleast that was the impression I got from when Raghu became really upset when she got hurt by the glass and tool. Even in the earlier scene when Antara slapped him and Raghu grabbed her wrist and her bangles broke, he let go immediately which he didn't do today.

I hope that with the hand burning scene that'll be coming up, Antara stands her ground as says enough is enough. Raghu needs to realize his mistake and sincerely apologize to her. I mean he knew everything about Antara and still hurt her, while Antara unintentionally hurt him. And she went on to realize her mistake right away and apologize to him.

But I think Raghu's anger goes beyond what Antara said to him about his childhood. Yes, it's true that he doesn't like anyone bringing up his past, but I think the anger is also a result of his inner turmoil and feelings for Antara. He's frustrated because he can't let Antara leave but he's also afraid of letting her come close to him. Obviously he hasn't realized why he's feeling this way which is why he's become so cranky and rude lately.

Well that was my two cents. What do you guys think?

very nice post ,i totally agree wid u ...
everything was ok till Raghu grabbed Anatars wrist tightly to the extent that she felt the pain ...she got those red marks on her wrist...
sumtimes he behaves with Anataraa as if she is a guy and sumtimes he becomes so caring...Rahu is super frustated ...due to this he is having the mood swings ...i hope he cools down soon...

Completely agree with you!...Same pinch here! I did not like Raghu's behavior at all today in fact this whole week is going to be the same!...He was way too aggressive!

I just want the old Raghu back! Yes, he needs to apologize to Antara and especially Mach mach!

I am dreading this week! His behavior is putting me off..😕

The same old recipe hero abusing heroine is getting so old!!! Seen it a million times!...Sick of it!

I agree. Though , i won't say that the physical abuse was intentional. Ragz has been losing a lot of his marbles lately due to his fast developing passion and pull towards Antzie - he already has an aggressive and impulsive personality and this sudden surge of new emotions is throwing him off the balance. Ragz is a very volatile person and such people are like loose electrons when not in control of themselves.

Today, however, i shall not excuse him. Antzie was genuinely sorry and she only said 'sorry'. She was not taking pity on him or trying to make some super amends with him - she was tearful because of her guilt, not because she wanted to open a sympathy tap for him. So, Ragz getting all aggressive and scaring the girl was NOT done. You don't want her sorry, just tell her strongly that you don't want to listen to her. Why scare the living daylights out of her?

Slapping MM was also an extreme reaction. MM loves Ragz or rather worships him but Ragz, again, due to his impulsive temper did not see the sentiment behind MM's reaction to Antzie. I understand that Ragz hated being vulnerable but if i was in his place, i would never have the heart to slap someone who literally worships the ground i walk on.

Ragz is full of fury , its ok. But he cannot spill that fury on everyone who comes in his way. That is so NOT done. Considering what a lovely puppy Ragz is deep down in his heart.

I get why he's doing what he does, he is in character being extremely hurt and the raw passionate person he is(which i guess is also to establish his personality later when he realises his feelings for Antara) and all but I don't necessarily like it.

I agree with you on the point that its not just being hurt by Antara's words, this anger has been simmering in him, since the hospital scenes where Antara refuses his money and tells him that he has no right to make decisions for her and her family.Immediately after the hospital and before Maamiji comes to give her Kashmiri pulao, we see him pretty much punching the life out of the punching bag reflecting on her words at the hospital.

I think its the first time he feels totally out of control, he wants to get closer to her and yet she doesn't give him an inch and he's not really the expressive kind, so he keeps it all in and then at some point it all comes bubbling out like when Ajji called Antara over and of course things got a whole lot worse.

I was so upset when he slapped Mach Mach. MM loves and respects him so much and that was just completely out of line. And then I got even more angry when he told MM that it was his own fault and didn't apologize to him. I mean come on, get off your high horses!!! Poor Mach Mach, he still forgave him though. Ugghh I felt so bad for him because he's such a lovable character. It was nice of Antara to apologize to him on Raghu's behalf. I think that made him feel a little better.

I hate this recipe. I stopped watching so many shows just because of it. I mean you seriously don't need to make the hero abusive just to show that he's passionate.

I also felt super sorry for MM. I mean, that man would cut out his heart for Ragz and Ragz needs to not just acknowledge it , but respect that as well. Ragz has filled himself with so much bitterness and hypersensitivity that sometimes, you need to hit him below the belt to make him realize that others hurt too. I guess Ragz lives by ' To love, is to be vulnerable' and in his efforts to keep himself as strong as a fort, he sometimes walks over people- realizing too late that how much hurt he causes them.

Antzie is a very soft soul minus the times Ragz is not driving her up the wall and when she is not judging him. Her sorry to MM moved him a lot - and he will see this girl in a new light now. Antzie could do with a friend right now and MM could be a good support system. 😃

Seriously man, it kind of kills the romance for me, I love the nok jhons, the teasing repartees but the minute the guy gets physically and emotionally abusive, it puts me off completely.
I wouldn't like it in real life, so definitely not my idea of romance.

Lets hope they don't follow the same old formula again. I don't want to watch these kind of physical and emotionally abusive scenes and watch the heroine cry!...
