Mami was sitting in the living room waiting for Antara...when Antara entered she sighed in relieve...
Mami: Shukar hai ki tum agi Antara...mujhe itni fikar ho rahi thi..tumne to kaha tha ke tum paas main hi ho aur bass aane wali ho par tum to 1 ghente (hour) baad ayi hai...main to bas abhi Raghu ko...
An: Nahi Mami uski koi zaroorat nai thi..wo bas aahista chal rahi thi na issi liye late ho gayi hun...she assured her..
Mami: Agli bar jaldi aana, ladki ka yahan raat ko akele bahir rehna save nahi hai...Aur yeh kya tum to puri bheegi paari hai...she asked her concerned
An: Haan woh pata hi nai chala kab barish shuru hogi...
Mami: Kuch nai hota...betho main tumhare liye khana laga de ti hun aut tumhare baal sukha deti hun...
An: Nahi nahi Mami mujhe bhuk nahi...baki sab so rahe hai nai?? To main bhi bas sone ja rahi hun aur aap bhi ja ke sochain...
Mami: Par kuch toh...
An: Acha main kapre badal ke kuch le lungi ab jayen aur sojaen bohat raat hogi hai...
Mami: Acha theek hai..par kuch le lana..theek hai?..Ok Goodnight...
An: Ji..Goodnight...
Antara waited till her Mami left nd after a while went up to her room without taking anything...she couldn't eat anything...how could she be hungry when something so terrible happend to her??...how could she explain all this to her Mami??
She unknowingly went outside into the balcony where it was still raining...she was all lost in her own thoughts nd threw the towel which was in her hand on the railing nd it fell out of the balcony...
she roamed her eyes around the basti nd her eyes caught the side of her white towel..now dirty towel...lying lifeless on the ground..her eyes filled up remembering how her dupatta was lying lifeless like the dirty towel on the ground...suddenly she saw someone picking up her towel...the person stood up with her towel in his hand nd her eyes met the pair of eyes who were observing her frm quite a time now...
Raghu was lying on the boot of his jeep nd unkowningly looking at Antara's balcony door...The phone call was confusing him...

Caller: Hello Raghu bhai...Main wo aap se kuch puch na tha...
Ra: Ha puch...
Caller: Aapke yahan pe thdi deer pehle ek ladki ponchi ke nai?
Ra: Ladki?
Caller: Haan...pink salwar suit...lambe baal the uske...darri hui thi...
Raghu could only think of Antara...
Caller: Woh kya hai na yahan XYZ road pe wo kafi deer se beti hui thi aur ro rahi thi...kuch deer baad uske phone aya aur tab wo idher udhar dekhne lag pari..phir humse hi aake aapki basti ka pata liya usne ...humne picha nai kiya uska kyunki wo waise bhi bohat darri hui lag rahi thi...Woh aapki basti ki thi aur wo ponchi gi??
Ra: Haan...wo...haan mujhe pata hai uska..baaki main sambhal lunga...chal phone rakh...he said lost...
Raghu: Ladi...pink slawar suit mein...Antara hi abhi ayi hai aur usne bhi pink salwar suit pehna tha...par wo itni raat ko uss jaga pe kya kar rahi thi...aur uska interview bhi whan nahi tha...Kuch to garbar hai... he thought confused...

The door opened nd Antara walked out he stiffened nd changed his position into a sitting one...he saw her lost in some thoughts nd throwing her towel out of the balcony...he didn't know when nd why he walked up to the towel nd picked it up when he met her eyes there were tears in her eyes or was it jst rain???
He narrowed his to the towel
Ra: Towel ganda ho ne mein rone wali konsi baat hai? Yedi...he again looked up bt she was nowhere...now he was confused...frm the corner of his eyes he saw the door of her house open nd in some sec Antara was standing there...Just as he turned himself in her direction she closed the door nd vanished frm his view...
Antara made her way back to her room nd saw the open balcony door...she made her way to the door to close it too...she didn't want to face Raghu yet...Her day was worse enough nd seing him means talking to him nd talking to him means FIGHTGING with him nd she couldn't take more atleast not for today...with tht thought in my mind she was about to close the door when she felt a strong grip on her wrist pulling her out of the room into the balcony where it was still raining nd jst to pretend her scream another hand moved to her mouth...
she again felt the fear frm the morning rushing through her body nd started to struggle bt all went in vain...She felt herself been pushed to the wall under the roof as she didn't felt the rain falling on her
Ra: Aye Miss Kaul...Chikna band kar sab so rahe hai sab ko jagane ka kya? Show lagwane kya idhar? he tried to calm her nd it worked jst as she heard his voice she relaxed in his arms bt realising tht it was HIM nd tht to in HER BALCONY AT THIS HOUR she pushed him away frm herself...
She was huffing in anger bt he could clearly see tht she was crying for some time now as she had red puffy eyes...nd her voice confirmed it too:
An: Tum? Tum yaha kya kar rahe ho? she fumed at him with a heavy voice...
Ra: Ae Chilla mat...Chillana mujhe bhi aata hai par abhi sabh so rahe hai to kal chikh ke baat kar lena aur waise bhi tu abhi iss halat main nai ke tu kissi pe bhi chillaye...
An: Tum mujhe na samjhao ke mujhe kya karna chahiye aur kya nai...Dekho mujhe tumhare saath abhi koi behas nai karni to please tum jao yahan se...
Ra: Ha mujhe bhi koi shauk nai tujhse behas karne ki.,..wo to main bas ye wapas dene aya tha..he said while handing her the towel...
Ra: Waise mujhe ek baat bata har jees pai rona zaroori hai tera huh?
Antara jst closed her eyes: Matlab?
Ra: Arre Yaar tu matlab bohat puch ti hai..Matlab ek towel ke girne pe itne aansu? Yeh saaf ho sakta hai...Ya tu naya hi khird le...Nai tum ladki log ko na rone ka bhana chihiye hota hai na...
An: Kuch cheeze (things) na dhul sakti hai aur na hi nayi kharidi ja sakti hai she said looking into his eyes...
Ra: Ha? Yedi ho gi kya? Lagta hai aaj dhoob main karri rahi hai issi liye dimag kaam karna band ho gaya...Samaj ta hun tu Kashmiri hai to tujhe itni dhoob ki aadat nai hai...
An: Ab tum please yahan se ja sakte ho...she said trying to gulp her angry tears which came thinking about her day...
Ra: Chal theek hai...ab phirse rone ki zaroorat nai hai...Chalta hun...aur tu bhi ja ab soja...he turned around bt stopped...he again turned back...
Ra: Waise ek aakhri baat bata...
Antara looked really angry bt hearing his serious voice where all traces of teasing her were gone she kept quite indicating him to continue...
Ra: Tera aaj interview tha na? Kaise hua? Naukri lagi ke nai? he asked her while seating himself on the railing getting wet under the rain...
He saw her stiffning nd then relaxing...
An: Tumhe isseh kya matlab...Tum aapne kam se kam nai rakh sakte she asked showing him her index finger as a warning...
Raghu fumed hearing her tone...he stood up nd grabbed her by her arms nd pinned her again against the wall...
Ra: Akhri baar keh raha hun aawaz niche rakh...Chikna Chillana mujhe bhi aata hai...Main jo puch raha hu uska sidhe sidhe jawab de warna...he said in a dangerously low voice making her shiver...
An: Warna? Warna kya? Dhamki de rahe ho mujhe? Kya kar loge tum ha? she asked again in a too high voice nd started to struggle to get free frm him as she was already hurt nd his grip was making it worse...
Ra: Yeh kar sakta hu main...he said while jerking her nd increasing the pressure on her arms...
Antara winced in pain bt sealed her lips trying to control the pain...
An: Chodo mujhe...she said while looking sideway...
Ra: Pehle aapni aawaz niche kar...he said brining her closer to him...
She tried to maintain some distance between them by keeping her hands on his chest nd shoving him back bt he didn't budge...She got flashes frm her interview seing him so close to her...
An: Chodo mujhe...I hate you...tum kyun kar rahe ho aisa?? she asked in a low voice with tears in her eyes...
Raghu knew it was wrong hurting her like this bt he had to know wht happen to her tht made the so called fearless Antara so fragile nd fearful...
Ra: Jo main puch raha hun uska sahi jawab de aur main tujhe chor dunga...he said simply...
An: Kya puchna hai?...she asked in a teary voice...
Ra: Tera interview subha 8 baje ka tha aur tu itni raat ko waapis a rahi hai? Kyun? Kahan thi tu itni deer?
An: Tumhe isse kya ke main kaha...ouch...she winced as he agian jerked her
Ra: Tu aise nai mane gi...he said taking her by her waist nd legs nd throwing her on his shoulder, he turned around nd took her with him to his Garage...all the while she was hitting his back nd screaming at him to let her go...
An: RAGHU...chodo mujhe...maine kaha chodo mujhe...she yelled at him...
Ra: Oye Chup kar ...Koi nai sunne wala teri aawaz...he said making his way to the garage not caring tht she was beating him...
He threw her on an old sofa nd locked her between his arms...
Ra: Ab tu jitna chahti hai utna chikh sakti hai kyunki kissi ko bhi nai ayegi...he said with an intensity tht scared her...
An: Tum...she said poiting her finger at him...Tum mujhe yahan kyun laye ho??she asked getting afraid bt still in an angry tone...
Ra: Tujhe kya lagta hai?? he asked leaning onto her...
An: Dekho mujhe jaane do...she said slightly stammering coz of the cold weather nd fear...
Ra: Haan to tu pehle sab sach bata...phir tu ja sakti hai...aur agar jhoot bola na to main tujhe yahan se bhi kahin leke ja sakta hun aur saare jawab kissi sunsan jaga mein nikal wa ke tujhe wahin pe chor aunga...Samjhi??
Antara just nooded as he was glaring at her nd his tone was quit scaring her...
He took a seat infront of her nd with his water bottle in his hand...
Ra: Chal ab sidha sidha bol aaj kya hua?? he asked directly getting to the point..
An: Wo..wo mujhe wo naukri nai milli...she answered shortly nt looking up at him...
An: Hmmm...aur...he said drinking water bt still looking at her expression...
An: Aur? Aur kya? Aur kuch bhi nai...she stammered...
Ra: Lagta hai tune meri baat theek se nai suni...Maine kaha tha na ke jhoot nai bolna warna main tujhe...he said getting up frm his chair nd nearing her..
An: De...Dekho...maine koi jho..jhoot nai bola...mujhe sach main naukri nai milli...
Raghu again leaned on her making her lean back:
Wo to mujhe pehle se pata tha ke tujhe naukri nai mille gi...age bata...uske baad tu kahan thi??
An: Uuss ke baad main...main wo...Raghu cut her off...
Ra: Tu ek achi ladki ki tara ghar agi thi haina? he said in a sarcastic tone..
An: Ha..an...she stammered...Aab main ghar ja...before she could complete he grabbed her arms nd made her stand..
Ra: Jhoot...phir se Jhoot...he yelled
An: Nai..mai sach keh rahi hun..main kyun jhoot bolungi?
Ra: Antara jhoot mat bol...he said greething his teth
An: Main sach keh rahi hun...
Ra: To phir tu itni deer tak kaha thi? Bol? Agar tujhe naukri nai milli to tu kaha thi itni raat tak? he yelled at her...
An: Wo main...
Ra: Acha dusri naukri dhoond ne gayi thi haina? he asked in sarcastic manner to which she jst looked to her right...Nai? Haan to phir tu rasta bhatak gayi thi na? he said jerking her making her look at him bt she looked to her left...
Suddenly his tone changed nd his grip grew tighter:
Ya phir tu kissi ulte kaam main bargi hai...jisme raato hi raat tujhe dher saare paise mil jayenge...Bol? Tujhe mujhse paise lene main itni takleef ho rahi hai kyunki main gunda hu aur khuud tu paise kaha se la rahi hai? Aisa konsa tujhe kaam milla hai jo raat ke 12 baje tak jaata hai? he yelled scaring her more...
An: Nahi...she said pushing him hard nd breaking his violent grip..
Ra: Kya nai? Aisa konsa kaam tujhe mil gaya jis ki wajah se tu raat ko XYZ road jaise roads pe ghuum rahi thi? Bata aisa konsa kaam tujhe mil gaya jisse teri saari churiya ghayab hai aur aise nishan par ge hai? He yelled throwing her dupatta away nd pointing to the marks on her arm nd neck...
An: RAGHU...she yellled at him nd slapped him as hard as she could...
There was a pin drop silence...

BTW I DIDN'T KNW ANY ROADS NAME SO I JST THOUGHT OF ONE THINK THT IT IS A VERY UNSAVE ROAD😆...
