Hello all🤗

Welcome to this week's discussion thread.

the topic today is " Is it all right to sacrifice your happiness or in some instances your life for others?"

We have all seen how raghu was prepared to give up his kidney just to get money to pay for baby ji's operation. raghu didn't think about himself. all her thought about was saving shivani. very admirable.👏

Now my question is how far would you go to save someone that you love? what are your limitations?

Very interesting topic Jen 👏👏

I m against any sort of sacrifice in the name of love .. I feel if u love someone , u should always go the positive route and never give up by sacrificing yourself or your love .. positivity can always take u places 😳

When it comes to RaShi , their love is extreme in this case and both r flawed human beings .. they r even ready to sacrifice their life for each other but this is where they got to learn from their mistakes that sacrifice wont give them happiness that they want for each other , it will b their togetherness which will give them happiness in the end 😃

thank you Jen.. I do relate to this topic..
I sacrificed a significant part of my life for the betterment of my siblings.. I was selfless..
never once thought of myself, my future, or marriage..
but my sacrifice was worthwhile.. god blessed me in a totally unexpected way..
I am always grateful to god, and will be til my last breath..

Well. I am back with a comment.
Sacrifices happen when you have to take a decision , when you have to give a lot without receiving anything. I think we all do sacrifice in life. But some sacrifices are greater then the rest.

For me. Leaving my hometown, my beloved ones, my job, and living with in laws is the biggest sacrifice I did. Sadly , such sacrifices go unnoticed, coz in our society . A woman has to leave every thing to be with her hubby. But believe me , this is very tough. And the worst thing is that it is not appreciated.

I think most people especially women do a lot of sacrifices on a daily basis.. even small things... like saving the last piece of sweet or chocolate for hubby or the kids.. 😆 .. or holding the umbrella over the kid's head, while you yourself are getting wet in the rain.. 😊

Giving up a kidney is a big decision.. but I'm sure most people would do anything to save their loved ones in extreme circumstances... 😲

A difficult question Jen.

To me it depends on the situation and the person. For me as a mother I would sacrifice anything for my son I have no doubt about that. In regards to other relationships it is hard question to answer. SInce it is a family or a loved one that you are sacrificing for it becomes difficult to stay objective too many emotions are involved. For me personally if it's something that I would be able to do or help in anyway that would not cause further ramifications then I think yes I would be willing to help.

Would I go to the extreme that Raghu almost did with selling his kidney to get money for Shivani's operation I don't know if I would be able to do that because to me that is just morally wrong, but you never know what mind frame that you could be in if it was a life and death situation the emotions and fear of loss could be a huge factor in the decision. When there is so much emotions upheaval attached to a decision sometimes we don't make the best or wise choices we act at that moment in time.
