Because raghu continuosly tells shivani that he dont deserve her and tell her that karan is perfect for her.he also informs her that karan loves her so much.a confused shivani says that she can marry karan for his happiness and challenges him that she will marry karan the day when he marries sumi.so raghu marries sumi but its just a fake one.

Third: I envy you girl. You spare your self lots of heartbreaks by not watching those episodes.

Finally : the answer: it's a fake marriage just to make Shivani hates him and marry Karan. Coz Shivani in anger challenged Raghu that if he marries Sumi she'll marry Karan. 😕
