The 16th Lok Sabha elections are underway and actor like Jennifer Winget and Deepika Singh state that once the new government comes to power, it should work towards education for all, security for women and eradication of child labour

More often than not, a woman now-a-days steps out of her home in fear that something unfortunate will happen to her, and even if it does, instead of receiving support from the authorities, she is subjected to more trauma. What this nation desperately needs is to impose more stringent laws and action for crimes against women and to create a clean and caring system, one such initiative is the One Stop Rape Crisis Center'. Whichever government comes to power should make sure that women feel safe and secure in their own country.
