Actress Srashti Maheshwari who is currently seen in Star Plus supernatural show Divya Drishti, has bagged a meaty role in another show. Yes, you read it right! Simran aka Srashti has been roped for an interesting role in the upcoming episode of And TV’s Shaadi Ke Siyape.
She’ll be portraying a bride, who is made to perform some weird tasks in the name of rituals. Later, it will be revealed that it was their grandmother’s spirit, creating havoc for the bride.
Talking to India Forums, Srashti confirmed the news and said, “I’m playing the lead in Shaadi Ke Siyape. Despite having a busy schedule, I did the show because I got the opportunity to play a different character.”
Also, Divya Drishti fans started speculating if Simran was getting married in the upcoming track after Srashti posted her bridal pictures on instagram. She looked beautiful in her bridal avatar as she donned a gorgeous red lehenga. Have a look at her picture:
Shaadi Ke Siyaape is an episodic show airs on And TV. The story revolves around a group of aliens who had come from Jupiter for a secret mission and ends up working for a wedding planner. In each episode, they solve a new problem arising at the wedding. The show features actors Bhavya Gandhi, Sheen Das and Mishkat Verma in lead roles.
