One thing that really struck with me is I don't want Dri to suffer.
Rakshit has issues about his father, but he has a loving, doting mother. A family who cares for him. It may not be the equivalent of his father's presence but in many ways they're a balm to his father's absence.
Di has the same childhood trauma as Dri, but luckily was blessed with kind, warm hearted, accepting adopted parents. It helped dilute the impact on her upbringing.
Dri however got the worst deal. Despite being a obedient child she grew up having to owe for everything she's received from her chachi. Chacha and Romi maybe good at heart but they could never take a stand for her. She had to solely deal with her childhood, her pain, her loss and become her own shield and protector.
I feel cv's just to show that dance set the scenario were both were at wits end with each others accusations.
Otherwise the scene in their room was very painful. Rakshit has reached the end of his tether implying she wants to make maatam of their relationship as families happiness supercedes his, for her.
And she is used to being alone, even amongst adopted family, so the slight slip of tongue "what should I do, leave you?"... aaah...the shocked, painful realisation came to both instantly.... their eyes and expression gave away the torment of that thought.
The entire episode brought two things, for the cv's the dance and for DriKshit how deep their feelings have subconsciously developed.
The need to remove the thought and connotation associated with her uttered words were urgent. She did so.
But both are furious. In a charged environment every little spark is bound to cause explosion of great magnitude. And it does with R returning her words to cause more destruction on their beaten souls. Her brimming tears spoke their own anguish. R couldn't look directly at her when he says "aren't you getting late for the reception?" Nor could he ignore her suffering - so best to send her amongst those she would be happier around.
That pocket moment was soo significant. There is a furious battle of heart and mind both are waging. Their cryptic comments and taaney are just adding salt to their wounded hearts, thoughts, feelings.
I've said before I want R to understand her more. And he does. Cv's need to cut down on making her lie to his face. At one point it will be impossible for him to tell between what's truth and what's lie from her.
And that dance... the first thing they remembered where those harsh words. So through that dance he marked her as his and she let him. Their movements reflected his words. He will tell her to stay away but when she does he will pull her back. Every escape route she adopts he'll find and bring her back into the haven of his arms and heart.
