A lot of people seem to have switched to it from Ishqbaaz which might explain the higher ratings. The initial few episodes seems to have a very similar central romance / style / vibe and there's also two of the more popular IB side actors actors in it.

The current TRP might not be reflective of future ratings though. This show does seem like it's aimed at a younger audience compared to Ishqbaaz so all that matters is if they keep watching it; and if the supernatural elements become too OTT they may not.

Bfr u said the ratings are high just bcz its first week, thn male lead be changed and now this

Ishqbaaz was not a weekly show nor its timings were around evening

Every serial side actors act for other serials

So DD doesn't have to do anything with Ishqbaaz

Adhvik i think the actors name hez the male lead of this show whether few like it or not

First 3-4 Episodes of DD were interesting and show is in top 7th position also. But due to all wedding drama show is now this week out from Top Ten , its a warning to makers that if they focus too much on family drama its not good , this show is related to fantasy and supernatural stuff so all this marriage drama in such an early stage is very common in all shows. This week Monalisa is there so chances are high this week TRP will be high . DD may fetch good TRP but will never gain position in Top ten if focus is too much on family drama.

Got the data from Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar ke forum. DivyaDrishti TRP for last week was listed as 1.9 , 1.7

I dunno what does the two figures represent, which one is the real TRP? But in both cases it is more than the week before! 😃

For Saturday episode its 1.9 n Sunday 1.7

So its 1.8

I think IPL and early upload must have brought down the viewers at actual telecast time.

I think it's because of IPL. Early upload shouldn't affect the trp much, as in trp is calculated only on the basis of those households which has a trp meter installed. It's only few thousands of houses which has trp meters. The rest of the households even if they watch on TV, it won't matter.

And moreover if they dont upload early they loose out subscription money for hotstar premium. Why would people pay extra if they have to watch after it has been telecast.
