This epi came today so here's the update:
At the teen buzz meeting R gets the assignment for "the perfect date". Amanda says that she has broken hearts over long distance, and finds it rather amusing that R will be doing such an assignment considering the fact that she has never dated anyone.
Meanwhile, Michael while on call "almost gets killed" by a sharpener, when Amanda simply saves pulls out the pencil.
Michael: You saved me!
Amanda: I saved your tie. And now i wish i didnt.
Michael decides to leave aside gossip forever, and pursue a "negativity-free zone". Wilder has problems with advertising, as he has to go around advertising a LOSER sign, whose company promises to sue if he doesnt wear it.
Noah decides to help R with her dating article, by telling her that he will go on a "homework date" with her.He teases her by saying that she is secretly in love with him.
R: is this your extremely awkward way of asking me out on a date?
Noah: one of them. but dont get ahead of yourself. we're going as friends.
During a class with Shephard, R gets all nervous and decides to prepare herself extremely well for the date. The date turns out to be a mishap, as R tries too hard, due to excessive nerves. (The date scenes, MUST WATCH!!) Finally Noah asks the waiter for the cheque, as both of them dont want to go anywhere else. Next day at school, R says, " so i guess our homework date was kind of lame?" to which Noah replies, "It just started out lame. By the end, lame was just good old memories." He then tells R that she tried too hard and that sapped fun out of the date. R responds, "So i looked up a couple of articles, magazines...got enrollment on firstdates.com..." they have a slight fight then, and R walks off angrily saying, "Consider yourself homework dumped!"
Wilder gets Michael out of the "negativity-free" zone, however Amanda is zapped into it, as Michael gives her the book, "A smile.." i cant remember the book name. Amanda begins to feel she is shallow, and decides to enter peace and harmony. She takes the rest of the BUZZ journalists to "admire the sunset."
R goes back to DJ with the article, "First date stinks." She explains to DJ the problem. Dj then tells R too gently that she had tried too hard and that a good date comes out being good friends. R listens to this carefully and goes and writes her article again. In a conversation with Noah she realizes, that it was not only she who was nervous about the date, it had been Noah too! Noah had read through books and magazines, and had got membership on firstdates.com...lolll, so that plot ends with Noah saying carefully, "so we're cool again?" to which R gently teases him saying that noah will be going on a million dates with her till he finally gets it right. Noah replies, "You're toast!"
Wilder gets to sport a bigger LOSER sign, and Dj gives an evil laugh.
That was today's episode!!!!!!!! for all you Noah/ Rebecca fans...it was a treat...😳
