How are you feeling about the [nude picture] scandal? I'm much better now. But truthfully I don't like talking about it. It was something that was meant to be private, and even though it isn't anymore, I'd still like to keep it as private as I can. It was very traumatic, and I am extremely upset it happened. I hope all my fans can learn from my mistake and make smart decisions. But I wouldn't have been able to get through it if it wasn't for my family, friends, and fans, who supported me all along the way.

Who told you the photos had been leaked? I found out from my manager. We heard some story was going to break in the tabloids, and I was like, What?!? A few days later, the picture came out while I Was on vacation in Australia. Thank God, I wasn't home–it would have sucked if I was at home. So I got to be away from L.A. for about a millisecond. But when I came back, it got kind of crazy.

How did you explain the situation to your mom? I was just open with her, and she was just so cute. She was like, "Well, everyone can be naked if they want to." [Laughs] My parents are very supportive of me. And they know I'm a teenager, and yes, kids do stupid things sometimes. It's very unfortunate because with the Internet these days, you don't have a personal life. Nothing is private: Everyone knows everything, and they can find out everything about you. You're not as safe as you think you are, and you have to be aware of the people you're around.

It's great that Zac stood by you through all this. To you, what's the best thing about him? He always makes me happy. He literally knows exactly what to do to make me laugh.

Do you ever think about the future with Zac? No. It's fun having a boyfriend. He's a friend and a cute friend who you like. It's nice. But only time will tell. I'm still young, and I have my girlfriends and I have my family. I think that it's definitely important to have balance. I think girls can be sucked into the relationship and give too much. They like to be so into their boyfriends, you know? And you can't do that, because you get too infatuated–and then you lose contact with your friends. It happens to a lot of girls.

"High School Musical 3? Begins Shooting in April 2008!

Despite rumors, Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman, Ashley Tisdale, and Lucas Grabeel, will all return to play their parts in High School Musical 3!

The tween heartthrobs of "High School Musical" will dance and sing their way back to Utah to film the third installment of the blockbuster Disney franchise, it was confirmed Friday.

Shooting begins April 21st, and is expected to wrap June 13th, according to documents filed with the Governor's Office of Economic Development board (GOED). While the first two films premiered on the Disney Channel television network, the new movie, scheduled for release sometime in the second half of 2008, will debut in movie theaters.

"[The third] 'High School Musical' will be officially shooting in Utah," Lisa Roskelly, spokeswoman for Gov. John Huntsman Jr., said Friday. To help lure the production back to where it all began - at Salt Lake City's East High School - the GOED board Friday approved a maximum $2 million incentive for the production, the largest ever given to entice a filmmaker to Utah. Disney officials and Don Schain, the Salt Lake City-based producer of the first two films, declined to comment Friday.

But East High School Principal Paul Sagers said he and Salt Lake City School District officials have been meeting with Disney executives about renting the East High building for filming. Shooting is scheduled for 41 days, longer than the first two movies. "At least verbally we all committed to doing that," he said.

"They've basically asked to use the classrooms, the halls, the gyms . . . and the commons area [the lunch room]."

The movie is said to hit theaters in October of this year!

Vanessa Hudgens Joins the Mafia

The 19-year-old High School Musical star is set to act in feature film Will, which shoots February in Austin, Texas is about a battle of the bands at a high school.

Sam is 15 years old, dressed down in black jeans and t-shirt, with hair strategically hiding her face from the world, she is a loner, one of the school's outsiders, constantly seen with a book in hand. Smart, with a sense of humor and a lot of disdain for her shallow peers, Sam is a former stutterer and now speaks slowly and deliberately. She teams up with Will on a class project, and the two quickly discover they have a lot in common. Their friendship eventually takes the shape of a burgeoning romance. Brought on board as the lead singer for the band Will is managing, Sam emerges from her cocoon, demonstrating grit and commitment to perfection.

Ashley Tisdale Came From Upstairs

The 22-year-old High School Musical star wore a trucker hat emblazoned with "Over It." BFF Vanessa Hudgens was just at Urban Outfitters last week with her mom Gina.

It was recently announced that Tizz will make her feature film debut in an adventure comedy called They Came From Upstairs. It's about a group of teens who defend their Maine vacation home against aliens. ALIENS!!!!!

Production begins at the end of the month in New Zealand. Shortly thereafter, Ashley will film HSM3!!!

Efron was taken to hospital in Los Angeles the day after Disney announced it was bringing the money-spinning franchise to the big screen for the first time in "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" which begins production in the spring.

Efron's publicist Gina Hoffman said the tween heartthrob

had his appendix removed on Tuesday and was recuperating.

Efron, 20, will join Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Corbin Bleu and other stars of the first two made-for-television "High School" movies which proved mega-hits for the Disney Channel over the last two years.
