Part 1: Summer Vacation
Zack and Cody Martin were very excited because it was just week away from their summer vacation. It was their last year in Buckner Middle School in Texas and they would be attending Buckner High School after the vacations.
Zack- Yeah! I can't believe it! We are finally going to high school.
Cody- Yes! And the best part is that the evil bully Manny can't bully us anymore because he isn't graduating from middle school and will have to repeat the eight grade all over again!
Zack- Yep! I thought that I wont pass the exams!
Cody- You did, with my help. You had me tutoring you 24/7 in order for you to get a "C" average and pass middle school. Lucky me that I am a straight A student and I have aldready studied most of it so I could tutor me. Anyways now that I helped you pass, you should show me some respect Zack!
Zack- Yeah Yeah Yeah! As if that will happen!
Cody smirks.
Carey enters the room with Zack's and Cody's lunch boxes.
Carey- Have fun boys!
Zack- Sure mom! Once the vacation starts Bob and I will have loads of fun!
Carey- You already planned your vacations?
Cody- Yes, why? Barbara and I are going to have our very own extra credit holiday idea for high school. After all I am in all the AP classes!
Carey- That's nice Cody but you and Zack should cancel these plans.
Zack- Why? Are we going on a vacation?
ENTER: KURT
Kurt- No! We aren't!
Zack- Then why can't we have our own plans?
Carey- Because You boys are coming with me to stay with parents in California during this summer.
Zack and Cody- What??
Kurt- What?
Cody- Mom! But why?
Carey- And after that we will go to Boston to meet my brother!
Zack- But mom. Bob, Cody and I were also planning a hiking trip!
Carey- Then cancel it!
Cody- Mom!
Carey- Boys it's okay. I haven't met my parents since we came to Texas, and that is 4 years. And my brother I haven't seen him since I married Kurt. And that is 15 years.
Zack- But why do we have to come? Why cant you go by yourself?
Carey- Who will look after you?
Cody- Dad.
Carey- As if that is going to happen!
Zack- Then I will look after Cody and he will look after me!
Carey- Listen boys you have the whole week to enjoy with Bob and Barbara.
Zack- But mo--
Cody- Leave it Zack. It's not like we are moving to California, right mom?
Carey- Right right!
Kurt- Do I have any say in this?
Carey- No!
Kurt- But I am your husband, not to mention Zack's and Cody's father!
Carey- You don't act like you are their father. All you care about is your job!
Kurt- It is helping us survive!
Carey- Yeah right!
Kurt- Please Carey don't leave.
Carey- I am just going for the summer.
Kurt- But my huge tour is coming up.
Carey- Have a good time. I have already booked the tickets!
Kurt- Carey please! I will be more understanding!
Carey- Shut up! Zack! Cody! Go to school.
Zack and Cody- Okay!
Z&C leave home.
OUTSIDE
Cody- Mom and Dad have been fighting more than usual nowadays!
Zack- Yeah! Even I have been observing that.
Cody- What do we do?
Zack- Lets go to the mall!
Cody- That is not a solution!
Zack- Yeah! Come!
Cody- And Zack if we want to go to the mall we have to go to the big city, which is two hours away!
Zack- I know! Come!
Cody- Shut up! Come to school!
Zack- Okay.
They go to school.
SCHOOL
Cody runs into Barbara and they share a quick kiss.
Cody- Oh Barbara!
Barbara- Oh Cody!
Cody- I don't want to say this but we have to cancel our super extra credit plans..........
Barbara- Why?? Oh Cody!
Cody- Oh Barbara! My mom wants Zack and me to go with her to California to meet her parents and also to Boston to meet her brother.
Barbara- Oh Cody! That's sad! But we have this week. We will work on some extra credit!
Cody- Oh Barbara! You are so smart! Yes. I will pick you up at 4:30pm today evening okay?
Barbara- Sure Cody!
Cody- Oh Barbara!
Barbara- Oh Cody!
They go in for a long kiss.
Bob and Zack- Oh gross! Stop it!
Cody- Sorry.
Zack- Come! Bob and I are ditching! Care to come?
Cody- Zack that's not right! Where are you guys going anywhere?
Zack- To the new horse ranch. I heard the famous rider "Rob Marcus" (fictional guys) will be there!
Cody- Oooooohhhh I love Rob Marcus. He is so cool. I always wanted to meet him!
Bob- Then come with us.
Cody hesitates for a while.
Cody- Count me in!
Barbara- Cody you are going to ditch school?
Cody- But Rob Marcus rocks! I just have to meet him.
Barbara- But I thought you would never break rules or ditch school!
Cody- Okay Barbara! Guys you carry on without me!
Zack- C'mon! Cody! This is a life time opportunity for us! Come on!
Barbara- Cody is a good kid. Don't corrupt him!
Zack- Are you his girl friend or mother? No wonder I would never date you!
Barbara- Suits you! Come Cody!
Cody- On second thought I want to go to meet Rob! Come on guys!
Zack- Cool!
Zack, Cody and Bob leave.
