I haven't really read the whole thing BUT it seems pretty unlike the book. As in characters are the same but situations are different .

Nope its not like the book at all...in the book Dylan starts feeling something for Debjani since the very first meet which actually happens at Debjani's house.

No not at all! In the book Dylan was always attracted to her, and somehow in the show they have not shown that! Dylan adored her eyes!
