This is just my view on what riddhimaz thinkin at the moment and why shez thinkin what she is.
Ridz point of view
After that potentially life-threatening joke planned by ARMAAN she realised that he simply refuses to grow up and act like a man instead of a teenager, so she writes a letter explaining to him how different the two people are and that how they can never be one. The next day when armaan agrees with what she had written took her by surprise...normally after an arguement/break up, armaan goes into devdaas mode so armaans positive, mature attitude surprised her. Ridz being a proffesional, offered friendship to him (so the work atmosphere in the hospital isnt ruined like before) which he hesistantly agreed to. Him agreeing to be friends probably makes ridz assume that he too is over their relationship otherwise why would he agree with me..... armaan is thinkin the same about her which makes them feel awkward if they get too close physically. During the time where they were bringing other couples together, ridz saw a different armaan...not the armaan that always pranks her, not the one that flirts with her endlessly not the romantic armaan that did grand gestures of love, but an armaan that genuinely cares for his friends, the armaan that seems to know every thought that ridz is thinkin. Ridz is probably feelin guilty now for all thoz times she used to criticize armaan n has now realised that he is perfect the way he is n doesnt need changing and so she is starting to fall for him again.
And then from the promo, ridz is at her most vulnerable state n doesnt need comfort from her parents, sister or friends but needs armaan to look after her n console her...dts why she was about to hug him, but she moved away cuz she had realised what she had and what she lost....
