He was called in the dean's cabin....he was thinking...he wasnt scared ...wasnt nervous...but
just thinking why was he called
suddenly...he hadnt done anything this time...not a boxing match...no bike race...n not even a
bad surgery...well he hadnt done anything great either..
he was just attending his patients regularly and evrything was fine...well then what must be
the reason...thinking all this he reached till the dean's cabin
he knocked n was called in...The dean was busy readin a file...n asked him to wait...soon after
finishng the file the dean spoke up to him...
Dean:so Dr. Armaan...hws the day going?
Armaan:great sir..
D:thats good...aur woh apka patient gappu....wats his progress
A:well sir he's shown great progress....im sure usse bahut jald discharge mil jayega...
D:good good dr. armaan....im impressed...aur aaj maine apko ek khaas wajah se yahan bulaya hai
Armaan thinks:khaas wajah?kahin ridhima ne?nahin nahi woh khud apne papa ko kuch kabhi nahi bol
payegi...phir aur kya wajah ho sakti hai
D:dr armaan...are u der?
A[comes bak frm his thots]:yes sir...
D:haan toh dr. Armaan...maine apko yahan bulaya hai yeh batane ke liye ke ap Dr. shubankar aur
Dr. Keerti ke saath ek bahut hi important conference attend karne jayenge...
jo ki Delhi mein hogi...jahan sanjeevani ke india ke branches mein se kaafi doctors honge aur
bahut international doctors bhi honge...it will be great experience
A:thats...great news sir...
D:aur Dr armaan humne yeh golden chance apko isliye diya kyunki is waqt...Sanjeevani ke interns
mein sabse zyada progress apne dikhayi hai...n im sure this conference wil help u a lot...for

Armaan leaves...He's happy that he's got sucha big opportunity..which is almost impossible to
get at that stage of internship..
But some part of his heart was feeling sad...very sad...because he had to seprate himself frm
his love...his life...maybe it was for just 2-3 days but it would be tough for him..
wen staying away frm her for 2-3 mins was impossible then 2-3 days would be hell...n the worst
how would he tel her..he'll be going...but he had to...he was sure she'd be very happy for him..
as it was a great step in his career...but she would also have that pain of sepration...which
surely she wouldnt show...but feel deep inside...
With these thoughts in his mind...he went to the locker room...
There she was...standing near his locker...n staring at the kada...the symbol of their love..
their realtionship..
she was very happy today....actually she was equally happy everyday...frm the day she had
confessed her love to him...she was soo very contented...n he loved her this way...
A smile formed on his lips looking at her...totally in love with him...she turned n saw hi.
standing there....she waved to him with anxiety n came running to him...
R:armaan...tum aagaye...main jab aarahi thi toh sister lovely ne bataya tumhe papa ne bulaya hai.
..kyun bulaya tha papa ne?
he dosent reply...he was still smiling lost in her beauty her love...she shakes his hand...
hearing no reply frm him
R:armaan...kahan ho tum?
A:haan...im here...bolo
R:armaan bolo na kya bola papa ne?sab theek toh hai na?
A:haan baba sab theek hai..woh dr shashank ne kuch batane ke liye...bulaya tha
R:kya batane ke liye?
A hesitates:woh...woh..
R:kya woh woh kar rahe ho...bolo na armaan
A:haan woh dr shashank ne.....
Before he completes his sentence...there is an announcemnt for her to report in the general ward.
..n ebing a true professional...she immidiately leaves...telling him she'll see him later...
Then both of them get busy in their work the entire day...n see each other for a few secs...if
they run into each other anytime...n they love those secs...
Finally both of them get an half an hour break...n decide to spend some time in their fav place
...the staircase area...[shortcut for path lab]...
She rests her head on his shoulders...to relax...n he caresses her hair...thats wat they loved
to do after a real hectic day..this made tem both feel so comfortable n so complete with each
other...
After silence of a few mins...she speaks
R:armaan
A:hmmmm
R:armaan tum kuch bol rahe the papa ne tumhe kuch batane ke liye bulaya hai
A [gets sad at the thot of leavin but spks up]:haan ridhima woh...tumhare papa ne mujhe yeh
batane ke liye bulaya tha ki mujhe dr shubankara ur dr keerti ke saath ek conference mein jaana
hai.......[ he takes a break n then says]...delhi
R[gets excited]:wow armaan this is great news...doctors ka conference......im sure yeh tumhare
liye bahut acha experience hoga
A:hmmmmm
R:kya hua armaan tum khush nahi ho
A:khush toh hoon...lekin...
R:lekin kya armaan...yeh mauka tumhe dobara nahi milega...tum mujhe bolo na kab jaana hai tumhe?
A:kal...
R shocked:wat kal...
A:haan kal...aur waise toh conference 3 days ka hai..lekin mujhe wahan 2 din aur rukna hoga so
5 din ka tour hai
[R thinking:5 din...kaise hoga yaar...main uske bina ek min nahi reh sakti aur 5 din...this is
not fair...hw would she live for those 5 days without him...]
A[puts his hand aorund her shoulder n makes her rest on him]:mujhe pata yeh itna asaan nahi
hoga ridhima...par tum dekhna yeh 5 din kaise ho jayenge humein pata bhi nahi chalega....main
jald hi wapis aajaonga....aur tumhe itna phone karoonga ki tumhe pata bhi nahi chalega ki main
yahan nahi hoon...
R controls her emotions:nahi bilkul nahi tum mujhe koi phone nahi karoge...aur wahan apni
conference mein dhyaan doge...aur tumhe kya lagta hai tum yahan nahi rahoge toh main tumhe miss
karoongi...bilkul nahi..main toh bahut amze karoongi...
A:woh kyun?
R:kyunki yahan koi nahi hoga na mujhe pareshan karne ke liye...
A:acha toh main tumnhe pareshan karta hoon....[n he tightens his grip on her]
R:armaan kya kar rahe ho..chodo na
A gets notty:nahi main tumhe pareshan karta hoon na...toh ab tumhe in 5 din ka ek saath
pareshan karoonga...
R:dekho armaan...main toh bas mazaak kar rahi thi...tum mujhe pareshan kyun karoge
A loses his grip:haan yeh hui na baat...ab bolo tum mujhe miss karogi
R separtes frm him...satnds up..he stands up too...goes close to him...
n whispers in his:armaan...i will.....NOT MISS YOU...[ n she runs away to path lab]
Armaan realises wat just happ...n smiles to himself:main jaanta hoon tum mujhe bahut miss
karogi and il miss you too ridhima
The same night...Ridhima's room...Ridhima...isnt able to sleep...she wants to meet him once...
before he leaves...n she knws this one meeting will keep her company for the next five days..
when she'll miss him terribly...she keeps lookin at her phone...to see if there's any message..
R thinks:woh message karega ridhima...zaroor karega..tum toh jaanti ho...aaj uski night duty
bhi hai...toh agar time milega toh zaroor message karega...
n there comes his message...ridhima gets all happy...she quickly opnes it to read it
Message:
Hi..Mujhe pata hai tum mujhe bahut miss kar rahi ho...aur tumhe neend bhi nahi aarahi hai..
kyunki kal main jaa raha hoon...aur phir tumse seedhe 5 din baad milonga toh tum yeh soch rahi
ho..ki tum mujhse jaane se pehle ek aakhri baar milna chahti ho...
kaho toh abhi aajaon..missin u jaan...
Ridz replies:
haan main tumhe bahut bahut miss kar rahi hoon...lekin...tumhe yahan aane ki koi zaroorat
nahi...kyunki di ghar pe hai...aur main bhi abhi sone jaa rahi hoon..kal sanjeevani mein
milte hai
Armaan's Message:
theek hai phir 5 din baad milte hai...kyunki..meri flight kal subah 6 baje ki hai...aur tum
mujhe see off karne airport aa nahi sakti...toh bye..miss you...n i love you ....
Ridz gets all sad reading that message...she wants to talk to him...but cant coz he has his duty.
..n she cant go to see him off the next day...but she had to meet him somehow..before he leaves.
..but how...?
Here in sanjeevani armaan was all sad too...he wanted to call up ridz...but then he had to
control...coz he knew if he called her up now..she wouldnt come to see him off in the morning n
if he dosent she would surely come to see him off...he knew his ridhima..she would neva let him
go without visiting her once...n now if he told her he was free..she woukd call him up...n speak
to him...n end it der...but he wanted to see her....hug her...feel her before he left...n so he
waited....waited for the next day
Next morning...Airport...
Dr Shubankar ,Dr Keerti and Dr armaan...reached the airport...n when they enquired they came to
knw that the flight was delayed for an hour...Armaan was like thank god...n he waited for ridz
to come...his eyes were fixed at the entrance gate...if at all she entered...he could see her...
Shubankar noticed this...
S:Dr armaan ap kisi ka intezaar kar rahe hai
A:nahi...toh sir...koi nahi...main kisi ka intezaar nahi kar raha
S:toh phir ap baar baar gate ki taraf kyun dekh rahe hai
A:woh...woh...woh sir[ he turns towards the gate...n there he sees her entering..he gets the
biggest smile...on his face..n he continues] woh dr ridhima...
S:dr ridhima?
A:haan sir dr Ridhima aayi hai[ he points towards ridz]
S:arre Dr. Ridhima...woh yahan kyun aayi hai?
Ridhima comes towards them..
K:Dr Ridhima..ap yahan?
R:haan maam woh papa...i mean Dr. Shashank ne yeh files di hai...apko dene ke liye..conference
se related kuch files hai
K:oh yeh files...haan yeh toh....main bhool hi gayi...thanku Dr ridhima...
R:ma'am waise apki flight ka time toh hogaya hai ap log gaye nahi
K:nahi woh humari flight delay ho gayi hai...
Ridhima looks at armaan...n then signs him to meet him outside...n leaves
R:ohk ma'am sir...happy journey main chalti hoon
S:ohk dr ridhima
R leaves outside...
Armaan:woh sir...main bas abhi aaya
S:lekin dr armaan ap jaa kaha rahe hai
A:woh..woh sir main ek phone karne jaa raha hoon...yahan network weak hai
N he leaves too...
S:lekin yahan toh network full hai
K:shubankar samjha karo...network nahi hai yahan[ n she winks]
Outside armaan sees ridhima waiting for him...he walks towards her...he holds her hand n takes
he rto the basementt area...whr there's noone...
Ridhima hugs him tight..he hugs her back ...
A:mujhe pata tha tum zaroor aaogi...
R:aati kyun nah...mujhse mile bina...tum yun kaise chale jaate...
A:aur agar meri flight chali jaati toh..
R:toh main us flight ko rokwa kar tumse milti
A:acha...kaash...
R:kya kaash...
A:kaash meri flight chali gayi hoti...
Ridz dosent reply...silent tears flow frm her cheeks...
A:ridhima
There's no reply...he again calls her name...no reply...he then seprates frm her...n sees her
crying...He puts his hand on her face...n wipes her tears n kisses her forehead...n says
A:tum is tarah se royogi toh main jaa nahi paonga ridhima...tum mujhe kamzor kar rahi ho
R wipes her tears n gives a smile:nahi armaan main tumhe kabhi kazor nahi karna chahti...main
nahi royungi...
A:yeh hui na baat...[ n he hugs her again...they share a passionate hug...something which they
know...theyll miss for quite a long time now...they'll miss being in each others arms...being
so relazed so contented...for others it was just a few days to say...but for them it seemed
like years... even more than that]
they seprate after a few mins...n ridz gives a box to him...
A:yeh kya hai
R:aloo ke parathe...maine banaye hai...tumhe pasand hai na...mujhe pata hai flight mein khana
milta hai...par main chahti hoon...ki tum yehi khao...
Armaan looks at her lovingly...she looks up to him...
R:kya dekh rahe ho?
A:yeh dekh raha hoon...meri girlfriend ridhima...meri hone wali patni ridhima...banti jaa rahi
hai...kya baat hai?sasurjee se humari baat karoon kya?[n he winks]
R:tumhare sasurjee ne toh filhaal tumhe kuch kaam se bhej arhe hai..pehle wahan toh chale jao..
.phir humari baat bhi kar lena
A:oye hoye...yeh toh green signal mil gaya...matlab wapis aakar main humari baat kar sakta hoon
R dosent reply but just blushes...
A gets all excited:I LOVE YOU RIDHIMA...pata nahi yeh 5 din tumhare bina kaise guzrenge...
R:guzar jayenge...tum bas jao aur apne kaam mein mann laga ke dhyaan dena....aur mujhe zyada
miss mat karna...aur khaana time pe khana...apne aap ko zyada stress mat dena...aur...
A:aur...
R:aur...I love you...[ n she blushes again]
He takes his mobile...n takes a pic of hers...
A:ab yehi meri zindagi hai...ridhima..
R goes all red...armaan comes closer to her...n kisses her on the cheek n gives her a final hug
n leaves...n ridz waves to him..til he's out of sight..
R:il miss you too armaan...plz jaldi wapis aajao...
