Ringside story.

Ammy the muscular man, brawny and muscular

Rimmy well the smarter one, earth shattering and slender.

Ammy and Rimmy were two champions of fighting.
Rimmy challenged Ammy to a bout of boxing
Everyone put their money on Ammy the street fighter
But there were a few lovelies who were much wiser.
they shook their heads in disbelief at supporters of Ammy
And they bet their money on Rimmy.

The day of the fight dawned bright and sunny
The ringside was full with all and sundry

They were all anxious with hearts racing fast

Waiting for Ammy and Rimmy's fight to start.

In came Ammy all magnifique and brawny
All his sinews bursting at the seams
Waiting to have a go at Rimmy.

In came Rimmy all confident and strong
For Rimmy was sure to prevail over Ammy's brawn
For Rimmy had a surefire trick up the sleeve

She had the upper hand as the wise ones liked to believe

The time for the battle drew near and the ringside was hectic
Ammy and his coach were busy discussing tactic
The refree made a gesture to get Ammy and Rimmi's attention

He made them face one another and explained the rules of the competition.

All set the referee asked Ammy and Rimmi
Ammy nodded and took position
Rimmi smiled and nodded in anticipation.
All the lovelies by the ringside took the necessary precaution
And nodded and smiled in great expectation

The referee blew the whistle
The crowd roared and there was hustle and bustle
There there was a noise,sudden and ear splitting, cutting the air like knife
The referee covered his ears and ran for his life.
Ammy was numbed and dazed by the impact and thrown down
Rimmy was all smiles,demanded the referee start the countdown
The poor referee acquiesced readily all at once
Not wanting an encore performance.

So it was that while poor Ammy was lying on the floor
Dazed and perplexed by what had struck him, dreading more
Rimmi walked away the winner without a sweat

As for supporters of Ammy all they could do was fret
and as for the lovelies, well they had cause to celebrate.

Wise enough to have bet on Rimmi,they rejoiced on their gumption.

Took off the plugs which protected their ears,nodding their heads in unison
When oh when would the others ever learn
With Rimmi around what was the need for any brawn.

All in fun, no offense meant to anyone. Am a great A-R fan myself.😭
