Has this turned into an abusive relationship. It has the signs of an abusive relationship doesnt it?

The way Riddhima's hand was bleeding and stuff....and the way Armaan hit is own hand and made it bleed...its getting ugly. I really want this to end now because I think that this has crossed all of the limits of decency. I mean people watch this stuff and its not right to show things like this...its getting as bad as that freaky bald guy on the Valentine's episode. Its disturbing.

Not only is it physically abusive, but it is verbally abusive. Armaan handles the physical and Riddhima handles the verbal.

What scares me is that people watch this and think that its ok to do things like this...people really are that stupid. I know that its hard to imagine, but its true. I think that the writers of this show have turned love into a game and have cheapened it with the antics that they are currently showing. This is ridiculous.

Another thing, I'm really shocked and appauled at some of the things people are saying on this forum. I wont say who said it but a few people on here said that Riddhima deserves everything that shes getting. Does she? She deserves to have a man make her bleed? She deserves to scream in pain? The reason that I am shocked is because the people that said this were women. No matter how bad a relationship gets, abuse is uncalled for.

I love Armaan and Riddhima dearly and want to see them together. Some see me as pro-Riddhima, but Im actually pro-ArmiRidz. I havent sided w/ either one of them, Im siding w/ no one. I'm on the side of Love. And I have faith that the writers will get their act straight and give us what we want and end this tamaasha. Love is not like this. They've made a mockery of love and if they dont do something about this soon, they'll lose their viewership.

LOL...i love the part where u said...armaan handles the physical..and riddhima handles the verbal
😆 😆 😆

i am tired of figuring out whats wrong with their relation.
i think both of them are at fault..both of them need to control their tempers..both of them need to think before they act or talk...

until they give each other a chance to speak up..no one can help them 😃

HI, very nice post.
I was thinking of the same thing, but there is something else I wanted to put forward. Why is Arman forcing her into loving her, why torture himself, to get her pity???
People are saying that Ridz deserves all of this, but no she doesn't, Abuse is not solution to any problem, & thats what Arman is doing now. He is physically strong, doesn't mean he can force on her, the precap scene, where he wanted to kiss her, how insane can someone get, to take a kiss that time, when they are arguging???

Why can't there be love, just 'cos they love each other? why show arman is pain all the time & Ridz denying but still in love with him. The creatives have made this a very cheap love. How can either of them forget the intimacy they shared (valentine kiss, wanted to kiss gappu but armi kissed Ridz, when she wore that mini skirt for him, in lonovla) is it so easy to forget all this for something as silly as this fight

Sorry guys, I didn't mean to offend any of the arman/ridz fans, but like brownbutt said, I am on side of love...

take care

I'm really glad that you made a post about this! This has been bothering me too for quite a while but today especially after watching the promo, I felt compelled to write something against it and I want to thank you for raising your voice against it before I had the chance. I know the creatives are probably not gonna read our appeals but I really can't help myself.

DMG was supposed to be a light-hearted show, a show that leaves you happy at the end after watching it. Now, it has turned into some endless drama, where the lead characters only fall deeper into misunderstandings and doubt and distrust. They have no patience for each other or the willingness to understand the other person's perspective. As many of you have already pointed out, the creatives have conveniently forgotten the moments of intimacy and unspoken understanding that Riddhima and Armaan shared and now these two are not far from calling each other names, as little kids do.

I was really glad a few weeks ago that their relationship had progressed into a mature relationship. They had started talking to each other like mature adults do but now they have regressed back into childhood, it seems. Even when they had a major disagreement when Armaan wanted Riddhima to admit to their love in front of everyone and Riddhima was not so willing, I was satisfied that they were doing something that normal people do. It was a step ahead into their relationship.

But, looking at their relationship, it doesn't feel all that different from where they were in September. I don't even understand how this whole situation arose. The creatives need to decide what Riddhima feels. After having told Armaan probably a thousand times that she loves him, when she goes back to get Armaan to return to Sanjeevani, suddenly she is not sure what is it that they share. That is ridiculous. She definitely knows and has even confessed that she loves Armaan. I don't know what she is doubting now. She just keeps going back and forth between being sure that she loves Armaan and not being sure about their relationship. This doesn't make sense and I think the creatives are doing a very poor job of making Riddhima's character very stable. They're doing it just for the purpose of dragging the show, but I guess they have forgotten that people actually try to make sense out of what they show us.

Ok now let me get back to the topic at hand.

Armaan should learn to suppress his anger, and the promo disgusted me. Clearly, I believe everyone has figured out that the letter supposedly written in his blood is one of his dirty pranks again (he needs to pull some harmless pranks on Riddhima, not some prank that could potentially harm her career or her dignity). And now he's stooped down to using force... i was really sad when the bangle broke... that scene to me was more violent than the breaking of an ordinary bangle... yes symbolically, Armaan broke their relationship... i wonder what track the show is taking now... I see no hope for the couple... With so many cute moments to bring them together, and so many despicable moments that repel their relationship... they should be ashamed of themselves, of the things they say when they are angry and of the things they do. They need to learn to handle situations as mature adults, as doctors, as people who can actually think and feel even when they are bitter!

i think trust and honesty r one of the most important things in a relationship. armaan usually doesnt tell ridhimma wat he's upto n when ridhmma comes to know from a third party and gets upset, he starts screaming 'oh u dont believe me' n blah blah. well i think ridhmma wud believe him more n have more trust in him if tells her from the start what he's upto! like when tht muskaan thing happened...it was good tht he was tring to help her n all but ridhimma being his gf shud've been in the knw as well so that stupid complications n misunderstaingsdont arise!!..i honestly think tht armaan's character is a little on the immature side..not tht ridhimma doesnt do childish stuff at all...as even she sumtimes goes overboard with her verbal thing but armaan is slightly ahead of ridhimma in being childish!
