Relating to Riddhima.

Hi Everyone,

I've been meaning to start this topic for sometime now - and in recent light of the backlash against Riddhima I thought now would be an appropriate time to discuss how we in real life relate to Riddhima - as a doctor, as a woman, as a lover and as a friend. Since day 1 I've felt a close connection to this show as I see MANY paralells of her character to my own life whether it be with regards to her relationship to Armaan, her insecurities about her appearance, or the bond she shares with her family. I truly believe that Riddhima is a beautifully and finely crafted "character" and I hope that those of you who feel the same way will share their views with me.

yehh your right..i can also relate to ridhiam..because if someone broke my trust two times i would also be a little confused if i should still have a relationship with that person..😳

Thanks for sharing hun...I'm glad to see that you feel similarly ; I think it's safe to assume that she doesn't have much experience with men which is a good reason why she is taking her time and kind of steering blindly with him ; whereas Armaan has had his share of "good times" and is ready to settle down now that he has found someone good...its that or im just reiterating my own love life! lol..

Riddhima is a very realistic character indeed, and I too can relate to her.. If I had to face the same the situations as her, I would probably do as she's doing rite now...

yea definitely...everyone wants to be in a relationship with someone that they can trust regardless of how good looking, charming or rich they are; and if we are to assume that this is her first serious relationship with someone then she is completely understandable in she decisions she makes...right, wrong or confused!

thanks hun..i've been wanting to discuss this with someone else for a long time because i find Riddhima so realistic...but i dont know anyone else in real life who watches this show unfortunately..which is why im sharing my thoughts on here with you guys...i like that she's not in control of every situation in her life but that at the same time she's not a complete mess either..she does what makes her comfortable but at the same time pushes herself to try new things...like dressing sexy for Armaan...i know that ive been put into that situation before where my bf wants me to "wear something sexy" and asks me to in a "joking" way...but we all know there is truth to every joke .... i remember how i felt when Ridz was in her sexy clothes in the kitchen with Armaan recently and her red overslip thingy ripped..triggering her to drop the coffee and kinda fall in the most awkward and ungraceful way...it was such a real scene! ...like i felt how she felt at the moment trying to cover herself up and recover from her fall ...for me that scene was brilliant!
