Great discussion thread. I skimmed through most of it and agree that the mush and blush has gotten over the top. The AR relationship seems to have no mental and emotional depth now. Its all about physical attraction. Couples in love want to know everything about their partners. But Ridz seems to be happy with the knowledge that he loves comics, likes to doodle and hates pushups.
And the senior couples, gosh they are so irritating I have to fast forward through those scenes.
This isn't exactly related to the mush quotient but what broke the camel's back for me in Thursdays episode was the immature way in which A wanted to make his love public. He wanting to tell everyone is the right thing to do.... but is this the way to do it?!!!!!
He doesn't try to explore why R doesn't want to go public or try to convince her and runs away saying "mai to boloonga, mai to boloonga". Is he 2 years old?
And I cannot imagine an intern having the audacity to suggest playing a game "apne pyaar ke bare mein batao" in front of the Chief Medical Officer and attending physicians. At least they had the sense to make PS leave after that. But KS stayed on happily to play the game " bano tum meri girl friend"
Cudnt agree more. For heaven's sake which intern will play such a silly game in front of his chief and future Pa in law at that! Wish they showed AR talking a lot more, show lots more of A's background, A talking some sense into R, and asking her why she doenst want to tell everyone!! Even the AM thing hope they handle it more maturely with R being mature and not transforming to a shrieking banshee and like A says having her dohras of dont talk to me, Armaan please and her nakhras, and the poor chap running after her and getting heartbroken. I dont think I can take any more of that. But then all we can do is sit back and watch what they dish out.
The Oye hoye is getting a little too repetitive and irritating, even though the poor man tries to make it seem different, you can sense even he is getting irritated by it slightly. What is with the dialogues, they get stuck to Armaan, haath chodo, Armaan please, ishq hai, oye hoye! Our pplat IF I am sure could come up much better and more imaginative dialogues given a chance.
It is different and we do give credit to the creatives but then when things are not going right, we as audience have a right to chip in and tell them what we dont like too! It is our concern for the show, our involvement in it that makes us react and criticize so that it remains classy and different like it started off and gets better and better. We have the good interest of the show at heart and no offence meant to anyone.
Hey Hemangi! Great job there. Thank you so much. Sorry couldnt chip in earlier, son down with fever.
