trps judge of poularity?

hey guyz i have been recently studying the trp charts and i have noticed that dil mil gaye is no where in the to 10 or even twenty for that matter whivh is vvery shocking considering the fact that i personally believe that it deserves to be in the top 5 positions also it is quiet ironical considering the popularity it has online .

it is very irriatating to see crappy ekta shows which people leave no oppurtunity to bash online have so much more trps than dmg

i mean its annoying even dumb shows like kynki kasturi have more wat is the reason fr this wat is ur take on it

according to me bacaus dmg is airing on star one its trps are so low ( not that low ) but comparitively

also the fact that indian audience has no taste more than three quarters of the audience are old and uneducated women who like to much drama

i think dil mil gaye should get its number one position which it deserves i mean in bmtd sagar and vidya are dying and people are ready to watch that crap than have 23 minutes of pure entertainment .

i thinlk its a shame to the poeple living in india and not only tv even the films the most crappy of films become hits example welcome no storyline nothing but a beautiful movie like jodha akbar is most probably not goin to be a success i mean is this the state of wat india audience like ?/

its very shameful personally i feel its becaus majority of the indian audience is uneducated and well they like mindless senseless dramas but most probably shows like dmg are only being appreciated in suburbs .

what are your views on this please reply i hope i havent bashed to many people living in india no intention im srry i guess this comes with the part and parcel of being nri dont get me wrong i love india but certain hypocrisies like this annoy me .

chill out hun!! Looks like you hve nt heard of 'to each his own'. I am a big fan of DMG and KSG and abs abhor Kekta serials but no way does it give me the right to brand all my country people (esp. women) as 'old, uneducated, fools!! Being an nri is no excuse for spewing such vitriol and using derogatory language for anyone cause you don't agree with their choice of entertainment!!

Next time you want to post smthg, I advise you to tone down the adjectives being used for the people of a country! And apologising at the end is not gud enuf! So be a bit more positive next time!

Its ridiculous isnt it? All these regressive shows like KSBKBT & BMTD are topping the TRP charts..urgh, its quite horrifying to think so many people watch them (khamo kaa they give themselves headache..and here us DMGians are always having fun 😆)

It is not long till shows like DMG will rock the TRP charts

right now.. Star One as a channl is not as big as Zee/Star Plus/Sony....and also lots of people dont have Star one and watch the show on internet (india-forums and other sites) so TRPs are not accurate anyway.

Wheny ou see how many fans write into Star News Saas bahu Saazish for example you realise DMG is the most popular serial..even look at india-forums DMG is most popular here too

TRps are not an acurate judge of popularity and to be frank if the audience prefers THOSE kind of dramas..they need to refresh their taste 😊

But the problem is that directors and channel people base the popularity of a serial using the TRP(Which only a estimate and excludes people watching world wide).

There ve been countless show been brought to an end only coz of low TRP...

But..I sure nothing like that will happen to DMG!!

u know, lots of people watching DMG through starone(live not online) means the star one network is gaining popularity.. and the network will not be in loss. But if the TRPs are low then the network sure is in loss from that particular program, I think that is the reason why the TRP are so important(not sure though). anywayz plz dont offend anyone. its all personal choice to select their fav programs. This typpe of posts are to discuss abt our tv programs not for criticizing people who donot watch it. And also we all know that DMG is the most popular daily soap ammong the star one programs, and pretty soon it will overtake all of the others,
