Wow Aarti! I had butterflies in my stomach while watching that scene. I love that S&G number too. I thought my TV would combust with the intensity. The tension was so thick you could cut it with a knife. Beautiful post for a beautiful scene. And here's also wishing you a happy new year!

Aarti..u just echoed my heart dear!!they had no background music n tht silence was killing me..i honestly wanted one of them to end it,,not some random wardboy wid reports.. it was unbearable!!
i hope she confesses tomorrow to him...but..does confessions brings end to the sound of silence??

OMG!! WHAT a scene!!! The silences truly did speak there!! An unusual and brilliant touch by the directors there!! I am forced to wonder yet again, like you said, if this really is acting...or something more...the scene was electrifying in its silence!

and the very first scene as well....I loved that too! Especially the way Armaan says in the end with tears in his eyes, "Pyar to woh karti hai"

For the first time i have witnessed a withdrawal from the mundane!

For the first time in the Tele soap industry, where raucous blaring music and effects are intercut with bright flashes and jump cuts and zoom in's that give you a migrane, there's a different treatment used, with the lack of appropriate lighting [most directors dont dare attempt], simple shot-taking, no audio except for dialogue delivery and the sound of breathing - to indicate chemistry to so exhilarating, that it makes your insides quiver.

For the first time in a long long time, have I seen such a simple scene, acted to perfection!

Makes me love the era of silent movies all over again..

PS: An audio visual experience ought to be like this, where visuals treat you while audio teases you, bringing out the best in the scene.
