Part 7A- A Normal Day... 😉

Ridhima rushed down the corridor to Dhoni's bed in the cancer ward. He was laying there with his eyes closed..a solemn expression on his face. Ridhima walked up to him and stared at him..instead of crying she was smiling. She knew Dhoni only too well and he had that face when he was trying not to laugh... she sat down next to him and told a nearby nurse to get an injection.

Dhoni sat bolt upright upon hearing the word..injection. He looked at Ridhima who was smiling.

'Girlfriend..hehe!' he said nervously.

'Hello boyfriend..lucky for you I am on break..but I have to go and give Dr.Kirti a brief update on you! So seeya!' she ruffled her hair and walked away.

All the interns were waiting for Dr.Kirti near the reception.

She stepped in as Dr.Kirti arrived.

'Good evening doctors! I hope you had a good day, but i have some news for you. We all have to go to a camp in a village the day after tom! I will be coming with you along with your senior doctor, DR.Shubhankar and a great friend of his who will be joining Saanjeevani next week. He had just left a hospital in Goa because he was really needed in Sanjeevani! So get packing and leave your daily reports with me. That's all, you may leave.' said DR.Kirti quickly.

The interns all walked through the hallways when Ridhima said,'Di, I wanna go and meet Dhoni and talk to Nurse Lovely about his treatment, so please wait for me!'

'Okay Ridz, but be quick!' replied Anjali in an annoyed tone.

'I still can't believe that you two are sisters and the daughters of DR.Shashank Gupta!' exclaimed Atul.

'WHAT?' Cried Armaan and Sapna.

'Yah, we are sisters.I thought you knew?' said Anjali confused. 😕

'No, you two are the daughters of DR.Shashank Gupta?' said Sapna, still in shock. 😲

Armaan got on one knee right in front of Ridz and said, 'Oh, I am sooo sorry DR.Ridhima Gupta, daughter of best doctor ever, DR.Shashank Gupta! Please forgive me! He smiled goofily. Ridhima just gave him a disgusted look and went to meet Dhoni.

Next day..(finally after more than 6 parts i have made it to the second day. lol)

The sun is shining and Ridhima and Anjali walk into Saanjeevani. Anjali wlks in first but when Ridhima walks in Armaan also walks in knoocking each other. Ridhima toppled and Armaan caught her and stared at her...kept staring while Ridhima glared at him. Anjali glanced back and didn't see Ridz . She went back and saw her in Armaan's hand..she didn't like that.She went up to Armaan and tapped him on the shoulder. He dropped Ridhima as he saw Anjali. She glared at him and walked away.

She was in the locker room when Atul came running to her saying.'Hitler..i mean DR.Kirti is coming in two minutes and wants us to be there! Let's go!'

Ridhima followed Atul out when she saw Armaan walking slowly towards the locker room. Atul was walking up to him when she stopped him and said...'I think he knows!' and walked to the reception area with Atul.

Five mins later DR.Kirti has taken attendance and all bout one intern is there. DR.Kirti is furious and waits for him.

Armaan came in to be greeted by DR.Kirti's anger.

'WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?' she said quite loudly.

'I didn't know sir....I mean ma'am!' said Armaan wondering what he didn't know.

'Well don't be late next time!'...

'Anyways Doctors! I am here to inform you of Intern of the Month. The intern of the month is an award given to the best intern of that month. We determine the winner by seeing who has the most points at the end of the month. I wish you all luck. 😊 (Shockingly Kirti smiled as she said this 😲). You may leave,Thank you!'

Armaan and Ridhima head out to meet Dhoni in the cancer ward. Sapna goes to do her round while Atul and Angie go to the general ward to do the daily check ups for the patients there.

Armaan is whistling loudly and walking when his cell rings! It was...Tina!

'Hey darling..wassup?' said Armaan in the phone...
'Oh you wanna go out? Well how about tonight because tomorrow night I have to go a camp! ...sure sounds great! Love you too!' he turned the phone off.

He looked around for Ridhima but didn't see her...just her green dupatta flying after her as she entered the cancer ward.

'Hello Dhoni, how are you?' questioned Ridhima ...checking his reports.

'Whats this girlfriend? Have you found another boyfriend that you have stopped calling me boyfriend?' asked Dhoni worriedly...

Armaan walked in and stood behind Ridhima.

'Hey, Dhoni?' called Armaan...his breath running down Ridhima's neck.

Ridhima stepped around the bed and stood on the opposite side. He looked at her...smiling his goofy, irritating smile that she hated...no she adored it but only when he gave it to the kids, not her! She give him an annoyed look and asked Dhoni if he had been taking his medicines..he had! And he hadn't run away since that day. Wow! That's impressive Dhoni...thought Armaan..probably trying to impress his girfriend.

'Well that is very good Dhoni!'said Ridhima checking off the reports and walked away. Armaan followed.


'No Atul, we haven't checked Mrs. Sharma, we've checked Mr.Sharma..' called Anjali.

'No its the other way..we've checked Mrs.Sharma but not Mr.Sharma...' replied Atul.

'I'm right trust me, Atul!' said Anjali getting annoyed.

'No I am!' said Atul equally annoyed.

'..me..'

'..me..'

'..me..'

The patients stared back and forth as their voices got louder and louder until...DR.Kirti walked in and saw them fighting.

'Excuse me, what is gonna on here?' questioned Kirti, her anger showing on her face!

'DR.Kirti.....(the matter is explained to her!)'

'Why don't you just ask which patient has been checked?' cried Kirti.

'oh..we didn't think of that DR.Kirti.' called Atul thinking why he hadn't thought of that. Whar an idiot Anjali was!

Dr.Kirti,' I hope this doesn't happen again.' She swept out of the room while Anjali and Atul called each other an idiot and started fighting again in whispers.


Everyone is in the locker room.

'It was such a tough day, yaar! How did you manage?' questioned Atul to Armaan.

'Well, I didn't get yelled at by DR.Kirti becuse I was stupid like you.!'

'Hey, Armaan it's not my fault! It is Anjali's fault! She was so stupid!' cried Atul...shocked.

'Me, it was all you!' said Anjali outraged.

'...you..'

'...you..'

'..you..'

'STOP IT! 😡 yelled Ridhima. She stormed out of the room and went looking for Sapna.

'Isko kya hua?' cried Atul.

An evil grin spread over his face! Oh he had succeeded in making her mad! He had talked nonstop about nonsense..chewed her brains out and she hadn't said a word against it but instead did her duties. 'Nothing!' he replied and left for a good night's sleep. He had to be there early enough to check on Dhoni and then get the bus.

'Whatever!' Anjali left too.

Atul was left alone and he was mad.

'Anjali is so stupid! She makes me so mad!'

'Heey, Sapna!' called Ridhima. She is outside the hospital and calling Sapna! 'I looked everywhere for you? Where were you?'

'Oh I had to finish my rounds and one of the patients wasn't feeling well. Just went to the locker room to find no one there!'

'Oh well seeya tomorrow! I hope your mum has given you permission! called Ridhima.

'Byeeee!'
