And if it was really about the actress only, the trp would have risen up when she came back as well.. But its a known fact it didn't ... the truth is that DMG was always about AR and Armaan. When the first female lead went, TRP's dropped obviously.. but after a few months, many people accepted KaSu and KaJen thats why the show kept running, but when AR got separated and Armaan/KSG went... DMG got a notice.

The Article is cent % true...
The Character of Riddhima was never the same after Shilpa left..The innocence of the character was lost...N hence it was difficult for many of us to cope with the character...😳
No doubt that the SK & JW are fab actors but it looked like the character of DR.RIDDHIMA was made only for SHILPA & hence she is still remembered as the "ORIGINAL" Dr.Ridz...😳

Um what else do you expect them to call jenni by? Sneha? Ganga? Well since her last role was as riddhima, they would call her by that! But the fact that people still remember shilpa as the original riddhima or the first riddhima definitely says something. You would probably not agree with me just like how I don't but since you stated this I thought I should bring this point up as well. Respect your pov though. :)

the fact is that Shilpa took 9 months to blow the television industry away with just one simple role..a fact is a fact and sometimes they're too hard to digest :) so if you wanna think Bombay Times/TOI and the rest of the media and some more people are biased, i can't force you to not think that way :P KaSh Jhappi to all ;) 🤗
