Also - I'll say this - the comments would have been teh same, but just coming from opposite sides, had the show ended with SR.

So ... my point being, just one ending, JUST ONE ENDING EPISODE, could have made this an 'awesome show' for one camp that's calling it the worst thing on telly. And conversely, it would've been the most brutal show, the worst tragedy on earth, declared as a failure never to be followed by a sequel for the other camp that is calling for a sequel had it ended the other way.

People change their views based on such simple things - retro fitting arguments based on the already seen outcome.

I'll never understand why we don't see manifestations of our own irrational behavior in others, and then fix it.

Why are we fighting with real people over fictional characters and stories? And STILL???? When this show is over and done with?

I think your opinion is quite biased , if I say I stopped watching SR long back, haven't even witnessed their second marriage because of pathetic story line, will you agree to that? yes because you know I am from so called SR camp, but when it comes to giving the similar feedback to fanatic prone, hyper ventilating sensuous couple, things become biased? why? ain't u believe in difference in opinion, if SR would have been together cause third person I and many SR fans would have neva liked it, because our believe is same despite who is playing the married couple.

I couldn't read past the the first page but do know from a few other members that the original writer of the article is being trashed left, right, and center.

tht is such a delusional statement...most SR fans had problems not because their couple wr nt together but in the sick manner the woman protagonist was shown n the way sth like infidelity was glamorized as the justifiable way to unite a married woman n her ex.....look beyond couple fanaticism !!i for one staunchly believed after tht whole tent scene tht sid shud kick out the hormonally frustrated riddhima right outta his life.

Firstly - I most probably am misunderstanding your reply so excuse my response if I'm way off.

If I understand correctly, you're saying that you, an SR fan, stopped watching the show due to the whacky story line, and so don't fall in the category I described of SR fans liking the show had it ended with SR? If that is what you meant, I wouldn't have an opinion one way or another to be honest. Like I've said many times, one fan, SR or AR, does not represent the entire team. So if you are from an SR camp, and would not have rooted for this show even if it DID end with SR, more power to you. But there aren't many like that. And that was my point.

I was an AR fan, but the story line was so whacked, and well non existent, that I stopped watching it a while ago. And to be completely honest, the ending was a tragedy for me, regardless of the fact that AR ended up together. It will always be ... for me that is.

As for biased - to each his/her own. I feel I became neutral toward the end of teh show, neither SR nor AR.

Sensuous scenes and favoring them - again, to each their own. I didn't like what was shown in tent b/w AR, I couldn't even watch it, BUT, there are MANY AR fans who didn't like it. To me, that was killing the essence of AR. So even when I saw the ending ... there wasn't any joy in it for me - it was tainted. Maybe I'm being overly dramatic.

Again, I didn't quite get your response, sorry, so maybe I'm totally off in my response to it. But no, I don't think all SR fans think the same way, just like not all AR fans think the same way. And no, just because it was the lead pair that AR fans liked doesn't mean every AR scene will be liked either. And if you feel that way about SR, then more power to you. But if you read carefully, I wasn't referring to AR or SR ... I specifically called out both camps, nad specifically criticized both haters.

A lot of people stopped watching the show because of the inconsitency in the storyline. (even before SR remarriage)...
Another handful of people stopped watching after EMA track....

Overall the fact that the female leads character was butchered so heavily left a sour taste in a lot of people that the end did not matter as a lot of SR followers stopped watching the show much earliar..

Even if by chance SR had stayed united at the end, it would not have made a big difference as the show had already gone down the gutters with the sudden shift in Riddhima's feelings and EMA track.

hey i totally agree with u...riddhima's everchanging stance became such a downer tht i felt sick watching such a inconsistent potrayal of a woman...if they wanted to unite AR it should have been a long way back when ARman had come back...tht wud hv made perfect sense to me...but after showing SR coming a long way in the relation n Riddhima genuinely feeling for Sid it was disgusting to see a 360 degree reversal in story..i think even after tent scene when she really regretted dat night n she was shedding crocodile tears there ws still some hope for redemption for her....but aftr tht, the constant change in stance everyday killed the character for me.....n abt armna i hv no commnets..i cnt understand how cud sm ardent fans bear to see him in such a cheap fashion..nyway each to his own!

This whole issue is so over-stretched now. The show friggin' ended. Both sides need to get over themselves. And this comment is solely directed towards the replies in this thread - not Neeta's article.

It's topics like these which make me wonder why I come on IF to visit when I'm bored.

WHY THE EFF can't people write their POINT OF VIEWS about this show or its characters even after it has ended? Huh? WHY THE EFF NOT?

From what I can see...A-R fans and Ka-Jen fans STILL drool over their chemistry and open topics about them. Where the hell are your so-called 'smart' comments then, huh? If some people can drool over them and praise or appreciate their scenes even AFTER the show has ended, then how come others can't criticize them? There are FF writers out there writing about A-R, even though the show has ENDED. There are CCs and CFCs for A-R and Ka-Jen. Does anybody stop them? No, right?

Just because one may not be in favor of something or someone, it does NOT mean they they don't have the right to express their POINT OF VEIW on/about them. I may not be a fan of Chris Brown or his abusive behavior. Does that mean I can't ever express my opinions regarding him? One may not be in favor of Obama's administration. Does that mean that he/she cannot ever publish an article on it? NO.
