As we all know Armaan Malik's and Ridhima Gupta's journey of love has always been a battle of emotions, barriers, obstacles and above all respect and identity. Over the course of Armaan and Ridhima's courtship they had and still continue to face many hardships in their lives. "Ishq leta hai kaise imtehaan" is a perfectly suitable line to identify AR's relationship. Their whole journey was a battle of tests whether it was for their own sake, their parent's sake, or rather even the society's sake.
Armaan being the epitome of perfection, the most beautiful and compassionate lover known to DMG, is a completely selfless lover. Ever since the first moment Armaan has realized his love for Ridhima, and battled his thoughts on the basketball court back in 2007, he realized his love for Ridhima is much more than simple lust or desire. The simple line of "Ishq mein jeeyon, ishq mein maroon" completely suits Armaan's devotion and love towards Ridhima. Ever since the September 21st, 2009 shootout, he has been dying a thousand deaths everyday striving for Ridhima's love. Ridhima on the other hand is completely the same. She started off with her heart on her sleeve showing her emotions to Armaan completely, but hiding it from her family. Eventually as time went on she learnt that love doesn't have to be hidden, only to find herself striving for that love from Armaan after she got married off to Siddhant Modi. The simple line "Ishq mein jeeyon, ishq mein maroon" signifies the importance of their love perfectly. Ridhima's belief in love and respect is placed after her devotion towards her God. As seen throughout DMG, Ridhima has complete faith in her "Bhagwaan Ji" and seeks his blessings to help her in life. As the days and weeks, months and years went on; Ridhima didn't change a single bit. In fact she seeks her Bhagwaan ji's blessings upon every occasion in her life. As for Armaan, being the atheist, and having no faith in Bhagwaan, his faith was placed in his love for Ridhima, and their love. "Isha hai mera bhagwan" is a completely suitable line for Armaan and Ridhima's love. Though one believes in God, the other believes in love and places their love above all and refers to their perfectly amazing love as their God.
Armaan and Ridhima's love is pure faith. Their love hasn't always been about words, or even gestures, rather their love is simply about their eyes talking. As the whole adventure of Armaan and Ridhima comes to face, it's noticed that indeed Armaan and Ridhima have a much deeper relationship than simple words. Their love is completely and utterly unexplainable! As Armaan started off his love story with Ridhima, he always turned to her for comfort, support, and above all love. He looked for happiness in Ridhima, and always imagined the life after marriage with her. Whether the circumstances were good or not, he stood by Ridhima and made it clear that they were destined to be together.
