Guys last time every one just gifted me chappals now if you are so meherbaan over my update can you please give me matching bags to go with the chappals. Here is the next part like I promised. See I don't tharsao my audience. But I do expect bigger comments this time.
SR OS Second Chances Part 8
Recap:- Siddhi has an accident and Riddhima takes her to Dr.Mehta's hospital and operates on her. Sid meanwhile comes to know that Siddhi had an accident. He waits near the OT and then Riddhima comes out and both see each other.
Ab aage:-
Riddhima is shocked to see Sid and so is Sid. Both can't believe that they are standing and looking at each other. Riddhima just can't control her happiness to see Sid alive. All this time she was asking god to give her one chance to seek forgiveness from Sid and now to see that Sid is alive and that in front of her was unbelievable.
Riddhima runs into Sid's arms. She just can't believe her good luck.
Riddhima(crying):- Oh Sid you are alive. You don't know what has happened of me. All these 5 yrs were torture for me Sid. Why didn't you meet me. How come you are here. Why Sid. Why did you go away from me and that too without listening to me even once.
Meanwhile Sue who has heard of Siddhi's accident comes running to the OT. Sue is very happy to see Riddhima hugging Sid. Sid sees that Dr.Mehta and Sue are watching them and asks them to give them some space. Dr.Mehta and Sue nod their heads and walk out of the room. But Sue being Sue just hides behind the door and wants to hear the conversation between Sid and Riddhima. Looking at Sue hiding Dr.Mehta is aghast.
Dr.Mehta:- Sue comeon, Sid asked for some privacy. I think both of them will handle each other well. I think we should go. Come on now.
Sue:- Uncle I know my brother quite well. I know he is going to mess this one up. I have to stay here and see what exactly the duffer is going to talk. I can't allow him to mess his life again. If you want to honor Sid's request then you please leave.
Dr.Mehta decides that at this point his son's happiness is the most important thing and stays back near the door along with Sue to listen to Sid-Riddhima's conversation.
Sue(winking at Dr.Mehta):- Uncle, Welcome to the Dark side.
Meanwhile Riddhima kept on crying and questioning Sid.
Riddhima:- Why Sid. Why did you not come to me. What was my fault that you gave me this big a punishment.
Sid:- What punishment Riddhima. How should I come back to you Riddhima. How can I get back my trust on you when you deceived me in such a horrible manner.
Riddhima:- Sid you don't know the full truth. You went away before I could explain the whole truth to you. Actually Sid that day .......
Sid(cut shorting Riddhima):- I am not interested Riddhima. What happened. Why it happened. What you did. Why are you giving me justification. Only thing I know is that whenever our paths crossed, my life was turned upside down. I really hate the day I ran into you in the airport Riddhima. I hate it. I wish I never met you.
Riddhima was shocked to hear Sid say that he regretted the day they met.
Riddhima(crying):- Why Sid. Why are you saying like that. You can punish me as much as you want Sid. But don't say that you hate me. I just can't stand it. Please Sid don't do it. Don't say such things to me.
Sid:- I am saying the truth Riddhima. That day in airport our paths crossed and you know what all happened next and today our paths crossed and my daughter had an accident and is in Intensive care. Why do you have to meet me Riddhima. Why can't you let me live by myself. Is my happiness not acceptable to you Riddhima that whenever you come you snatch every bit of it.
Riddhima(now crying more loudly):- What are saying Sid. I saved Siddhi. I didn't mean her no harm. Siddhi is your daughter(now realization dawning on her). You mean you are married.
Sid(now firmly looks away):- Yes Riddhima. I am married and Siddhi is my daughter. If you really wish me happiness then please go away, far away from me and my daughter.
Riddhima can't believe it that Sid had married and that Siddhi was his daughter. She didn't knew that she had lost Sid so badly. Unable to control her tears she raced out of the room. Meanwhile Sue and Dr.Mehta were aghast hearing the whole conversation. They thought that both Sid and Riddhima would confess their true feelings but here the whole story went for a royal toss.
Sue(very angrily):- Excuse me Uncle while I go knock some sense into my stupid bro. All he needs are 2 kicks on his brain. How dare he hurt bhabhi like this.
Saying this Sue tries to march off but Dr.Mehta holds her back.
Dr.Mehta:-Yes Sue. Enough of this dilly dallying. We need to make these 2 face the truth. I am going to go and talk to Riddhima and you talk to Sid. Let's hope these stupid idiots listen to the truth.
Sue goes to Sid and Dr.Mehta follows Riddhima. Riddhima meanwhile reaches the garden of the hospital and sits down crying on the bench.
Riddhima:- Why Sid. Why did you do this to me. Oh god all this time I have tortured myself thinking that I have hurt you and here you are feeling happy that I was away from your life. Oh Sid. Why did you do this.
Dr.Mehta sees her crying and goes near her. He sits on the bench and very clamly places his hand on her head.
Dr.Mehta:- I hope I am speaking to Mrs.Modi. Are you Mrs.Riddhima Modi.
Riddhima(wiping her tears turns to look at Dr.Mehta):- Yes I am Riddhima though I am not sure if I am still Mrs.Modi or not.
Dr.Mehta:- I heard all the talk between you and Sid and it is high time you know some truths.Sid made me promise that I would never talk to you but now it is question of my son's happiness and bhaad mein jaaye all promises.
Saying that Dr.Mehta recounts how he found Sid after the accident and how they both lived these 5 yrs and how Siddhi came into their life.
Dr.Mehta:- Riddhima many times I told Sid to marry again for sake of Siddhi or get back to you. But Sid always refused marrying again. For him he was always married and he had a wife and that was you. He just talked to you like that now because he is afraid to take another chance on love. But I know he has pinned for you a lot and so did Siddhi. It is high time beta you come back into Sid's life. Believe me he was breathing but not living.
Riddhima is now more than happy to hear Dr.Mehta's words, that Sid had missed her as much as she had missed him. That Sid still considered himself married to her. Now there was no way anyone could stop Riddhima from getting Sid. She knew that "Mission Sid" was possible and she swore that she would get Sid to accept her and forgive her.
Riddhima(wiping her tears):- Thanks Uncle. I will talk to Sid and no matter what I will not leave Sid and Siddhi and go from here empty handed.
Dr.Mehta:- That's the spirit my child. And yes one more thing I wanted to ask you. Can I ask you.
Riddhima:- Yes Uncle. Anything.
Dr.Mehta:- Why did Sid name her daughter Siddhi. All he said was that he had a pact with you that if it was a girl he would name her Siddhi and if it was a boy it would be Riddhiman.
Riddhima was shocked when Dr.Mehta said this. This was a thing that both Sid and Riddhima had decided before their second marriage.
############### Flashback of Riddhima
One week before their second marriage they had a young couple named Sanjay and Vinitha who were expecting their first child. The operation was little complicated but in the end they had a healthy baby girl. When Sid and Riddhima met the couple next day, Sanjay told them that they named their girl Sanvi(for goddess lakshmi).
Sid:- Sanvi. Nice name. Very cute.
Vinitha:- Yes doctor. We wanted both our names to come in our daughter's name and hence it is San(from Sanjay) and vi(from Vinitha).
Sid was very happy to hear that the couple thought so much for a child's name and he there and then decided that his children too will have both Riddhima's and his names in their name.
Sid in the night told Riddhima that he has decided that he would name their children in the same way.
Sid:- Riddhima I have decided that I would name our daughter Siddhi(Sid + dhi from Riddhima).
Riddhima:- Okay how about if it is a boy
Sid :- If it is a boy then it would be Riddhiman(possessor of good fortune). So that way if it is a girl my name would be first and if it is a boy it would be your name first. Deal(putting his hand out)
Riddhima shakes Sid's hand and says Deal.

Riddhima recounts how Sid had made that deal to name their children Siddhi and Riddhiman. She can't believe that Sid remembered his pact and named his daughter Siddhi. It just proved to Riddhima how much Sid had loved her and this causes Riddhima to break into fresh tears.
Dr.Mehta:- I always knew that there would be something like this but Sid didn't tell me and I too felt it was good not to question him. Doesn't it prove to you how much he loves you. So what are you waiting for. Do you want to lose your love once again Riddhima and now you will lose not only your love but also your daughter.
Riddhima gets up from the bench and wipes her tears.
Riddhima:- No Uncle. Now there is no way I will lose Sid and Siddhi. I will get Sid back into my life.
Saying this Riddhima runs back to the hospital leaving a teary eyed Dr.Mehta wiping his tears of happiness. At last what he wanted for his son is going to happen. At last his son will laugh again and his Siddhi will have the love of a mother.
