AS and AR - Similar much? A bit too much.

I hate how the CVs are making Armaan-Shilpa's love story SO similar to Armaan-Riddhima's. It's SO annoying... it's like "What's the damn difference then? Why didn't you just unite Armaan and Riddhima if the stories are going to be exactly the same?"

There are just too many similarities. I know KaSh once played AR so playing along the same scenes and lines is pretty smart to get back AR-KaSh fans but it doesn't fit logically with the storyline. It gets pissing off sometimes. They are "CREATIVES" which means, they've got to come up with something ORIGINAL and CREATIVE and not just lift off ideas from the past and from movies! GET ORIGINAL, for God's sake!

-Like numerous number of 'dupatta' scenes (We're living in the 21st Centruy, seriously. It doesn't MATTER if your dupatta falls off! There's no need to get so extra hyper about it!). Flying off dupattas, falling on Armaan's head. Repeated. Too much.

-Basketball: The first scene itself! Armaan's dialouges are Shilpa's and Riddhima's dialouges are Armaan's. (Smart move to get viewers nostalgic. But seriously, get original)

-Dressing: Shilpa's dressing is the same as Riddhima-2007?! Okay, fine. Same person BUT it's a different ROLE! Therefore EVERYTHING should be different. She looked GREAT with dresses and it was SO different from Riddhima. If everything had to be the same as Riddhima why didn't they just get AR together?!

-Fire Escape: That was only for AR. No one can take that place! It's just stealing originality from AR's love story! Give them ANOTHER place, to signify their love story! Every love story has it's own unique qualities and AR was one of those special stories that can NEVER ever be repeated! NEVER. Giving the same damn scenes to AS or SR is just ruining ALL three love stories!

-Fighting and Falling Flat over each other: AR was the only story that should've started with fights, dislike and hatred and took less than a second to turn into love! They shouldn't have started off AS and SR's story like that too! I personally feel AS should've started off with friendship, or something more like JWM.

Overall, I love KaSh and how they're portraying their characters, just their love story isn't as great and unique as expected. Yeah, they have great scenes together and share beautiful chemistry on and off screen but the MAIN storyline of AS isn't that WOW! It's more like "I've seen that happen before, with AR!" and then you think... "Get original, or I'm about to shut the damn tv"

so true..............in yesterday episode shilpa's scene wid masi when she was looking at armaan reminded me of d old dmg where dere was a bui i guess............at dat time shilpa was riddhima............dey r doing nothing more den copuing dere own story...........

I know, they think that by showing Shilpa fall in love with Armaan first, it's different. But it's not. It's just that Armaan is playing Shilpa and Shilpa is playing Riddhima.

I made a similar comment/topic elsewhere i think they should make the AS love story completed different.

Otherwise it undermines AR love and it's viewers and it's unfair on Jennifer as an actress because she did her best as Armaan's Riddhima and to build that chemistry with KSG.

The CV's should show something fresh with them, like for instance i loved how Shilpa was so flamboyant and crazy and did all the funny scenes with KSG

It made them look fresh but since she's falling for him they've made it all slow and AR like the whole dupatta stuff etc.

If they keep it original and fresh the fans will perhaps begin to forget about AR and enjoy this new jodi a lot more.

You forgot the orphanage scenes...Shilpa getting worried about Armaan and the aunty feeling suspicious...it's so annoying! And specially since it was KaSh playing AR when all these scenes happened in the AR story, there is just no difference!

ya dey shud modernised it tired of duppatta n flashing scenes...dey shud show new things lyk normal chit chat......aur romance over da phone...>>>>
